Ok, I just spent the last hour "racing" remote control cars with my nephew.
He wanted me to race, follow him around a "track" (giant circle around a carpet), and crash into his car.
Thanks to my amazingly non-existent hand-eye coordination skills, all I really managed to do with it was spin in circles for most of that time.
Still, I'm thinking, if anyone is getting their man card revoked in this thread, I'll be about 3rd in line to claim it.
(How much does a used man card go for these days, anyway?)

Looks like the wait on that used man card isn't going to be quite as long as I thought.
(But seriously. I can't even grow pansies, let alone roses.) And all of my attempts to grow basil have ended in culinary-crushing failure.
I have to give serious kudos to anyone, whether or man or woman, who can grow both fresh herbs AND roses.

My mom used to rope me into helping her plant stuff. I enjoy tearing em back out more.
I've been known to misplace my man-card for long periods of time... lol (but that is a different thread)...
Sports - tend to prefer watching only those sports that I have a connection with. Watching live is best. The atmosphere for an alma mater college football game is epic... Haven't done that in forever... Used to be an NFL fan; but was glad to taper out of that habit when I opted to boycott the NFL (save super bowls for the food and commercials and story lines) when all the kneeling during the national anthem began.
Coached my kids in: t-ball, soccer, flag-football, wrestling and judo...
Outdoors: love hiking; camping; scenic drives; Mountains are just Majestic... Never got into hunting or fishing...
Home: Have laid own sod; poured own concrete slabs; installed own sprinkler system; Have a back deck that runs the length of my house; and underneath is a mini archery range. Installed a 30' rope climb and pull-up bars along with a hamac in the back yard. In order to install a trampoline - resourcefully trenched and buried half of the base-legs in order to ensure maximum efficiency and minimum effort.
BBQ: A devot Carnivor - could have authored the 'cave-man' diet...
Emergency Survival Gear: have a couple bins for general camping gear; as well as one for basic emergency situations and supplies...
Storage: Poured foundation for my shed; and installed a loft inside both my shed and garage for extra storage; installed flooring in attic for additional storage... Have saved lots of stuff over the years... hmm I might have some pack-rat characteristics... is that a manly thing? I dunno...
Chores: these days I do it all from lawn, to shoveling to vacuuming, sweeping, laundry, cooking, dishes, groceries, to picking up after the dog etc...

Be careful with that, most roofing trusses (or rafters in older homes) aren't engineered for much additional load on the bottom chord beyond the sheet rock ceiling.
Yep, good tip... I think I recognized that risk as I was basically crawling around (20 years ago) just laying 3/4'-1' sheets of plywood atop the rafters ... and ensured the types and weight of the boxes that I put up there were the lighter weight...
The humorous thing in my life is that my father (who most boys learn "manly" things from) is far from mechanically inclined. He did tune ups brakes and other simple mechanical tasks on the cars when I was young out of financial necessity, not ability. Quite the opposite, I have always been very mechanically inclined. I learned most of my construction and mechanical skills from neighbors and guys from church when I was a kid.
I'll quit pickin' on you after this, every time I see this post it reminds me of something one of my neighbors (who taught me a lot of what I know about carpentry when I was a kid) used to say when a project we were working on turned out really well. He would say, " that's what sets us apart from the wood butchers."

Did you try different razor blades or try different techniques? I’ve been finding it took me a few weeks to really get the hang of it.
The first blades I tried tore up my face, but the ones I use now are much better. I sometimes get razor burn but only if I press down. Using just the weight of the razor to move it, I almost never get razor burn.
The shaving soap and balm also help a ton with healing my face. The soap has this icy hot feel when you do have razor burn.

I used that type of razor for years. Back then it was about the only type that existed. There were electric ones but they were expensive and very few people used them. I remember seeing one and wondering what it was lol. I did use disposables when they got popular. I'm talking 1980's here.
