The human family unit is the simplest and most basic system of authority. Do you deny this?
From there, Israel had a government. What they didn't have was a monarchy -- it was the type of government that God objected to, not all government. That is a painfully unscriptural position.
God is all about hierachies of authority. Moses... his subordinates... the judges, priests, etc. You also conspicuously ignore Romans 13 and Titus 3. Why? Do you selectively choose the parts of the Word that you wish to believe?

Yes... because the totalitarianism of the monarchy is specifically rejected in America's constitution, and is a major reason the colonists decided to shrug off the Crown. C'mon bro. You can't see the difference between elected reps brought to their positions by the people, and someone who simply inherits a lifetime of absolute power? Wow.

Staying on topic is common courtesy. From what I have observed, those who don't have common courtesy don't usually last long here. They get all offended about too many things and eventually flounce out with a very bad temper.
And I don't side with either. They're both acting like spoiled brats these days. I used to be a Republican, back in the day.

The perfect date.. there really isn't one perfect date, is there? It obviously depends on the couple. There can be many kinds of "perfect" dates, or just really good ones.
My GF from L.A. visited me in NYC back in 1998. Our first meeting, during the Memorial Day weekend, was like a power vacation. In one day, I took her through Central Park, the top of the Empire State Building, and later to the Astor Place Theater to see Blue Man Group. We were exhausted, to say the least.
