I know you apparently don't see any other threads than the dating ones, but yes, I've written plenty of other threads in the time you've been here.

I like stopping back in these threads though because I enjoy reading what many of the members here have to say.

Plus, I need to somehow my lifetime supply of popcorn, even though that legalistic goody two-shoes @RodColeman keeps trying to set up restrictions!! ⚠️😒😆🍿
There's nothing more to say to that guy, if he still can't understand that a normal person desires a boyfriend/girlfriend, not the concept of relationship or marriage. You don't desire relationship or marriage first, then seek a boyfriend/girlfriend to fulfill that desire. It's totally pointless to debate on the merit of marriage, dating or any romantic relationship, 'cause it's only as godly as the couple, it can only be evaluated on individual basis.

A more horrible and enslaving addiction is tiktok shorts, it has ruined a generation, I've seen folks watching these shorts while walking, driving, even cycling. When a group of folks are waiting the elevator, all except a few elders are clicking or swiping on their phones. I admit I use my phone as well, but never a heavy user like them, I only use it to listen to podcasts and read books and other necesary work related communications. I don't feel superior or something, I only feel sad.
I'm simply not going to adopt your unscriptural legalism. Grace and Peace.

Every now and then, I need some pointers on how to keep an argument going.

I mean, I've practiced it all my life on my parents 😆, but sometimes one has to reach out for a higher level of learning.

I'm truly interested in how many years you can keep your argument going, in case I ever have to do the same with someone else.

And who better to learn from than you?

You are most definitely on a professional level. :)

Well, that's easy.

Step 1: Accuse the other other person of having said something they never actually said.
Step 2: Argue against this thing that the other person never actually said.

I agree. Lovette is a professional at this.

I'm just telling you, that IF you're fine with the marketing schtick of labelling anything "Christian" for sales, then a soap is more "Christian" than dating.

You see?

This is why people keep coming back.

Everyone's waiting with baited breath to see what kind of rabbit you're going to pull out of the hat next to compare to your disdain for dating.

So far we've made it to soap...

Things I'm voting for next are meatloaf (truly evil,) lawyers (everyone knows what pagans those guys are!), and people who don't pick up after their dogs (there must be a special realm of punishment just for this kind of evil doer!)

But that's the beauty, you see?

We never know what you're going to say next, so we keep coming back... (admittedly -- at least, on my part.)

And you love it! :)

AH HA!!! NOW we know why you chose the name "Lovette" to begin with! 😀

I've told you that there's no point for any further argument with him.

Obviously, it takes years -- and hundreds, going on thousands -- of forum pages to master.

I am but a wee grasshopper in comparison. 🦗

But, I'm here to learn! 📚📝👓

Again, why are you sensitive to this, what's in it for you to defend this schtick?

You're guilty of whatever you're accused as long as you defend dating.
