Troll, Troll, Troll, your boat, gently down the stream. Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, life is but a dream... :D

On a side note, notice the guy on the left of this picture? Poor dude. On a constant loop of walking into that room. Did he just get "trolled"? *sigh* ...hehe

I'm still fairly new here so please forgive me, but what is this, "troll", that everyone speaks of on different threads?
I'm assuming it's someone who post way off the wall stuff that it must be because they want to start trouble?

Trolls are just that. They normally just like to agg people on or purposely make a thread explode by saying something like "Hey guys, which denomination is right, baptists or methodists" haha stuff like that. Instead of engaging in conversation, they are more interested in manipulating conversations. It can be really fun to do just to experiment with how people interact but can also be really destructive if used in the wrong context (cyber-bullying).

Another trolling tactic is to insult or attack someone's character because they disagree on topic or a doctrinal issue.

I don't know that I'd call that trolling. That could very easily be bigotry, stubbornness, lacking civility, acting out of personal offense, etc.
