Where do pastors stand on 'mild drinks' like beer?

Lev 10:8 Then the Lord said to Aaron, 9 “You and your sons are not to drink wine or other fermented drink whenever you go into the tent of meeting, or you will die. This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, 10 so that you can distinguish between the holy and the common, between the unclean and the clean, 11 and so you can teach the Israelites all the decrees the Lord has given them through Moses.”
God is still speaking through Moses to Aaron and to his sons, Tel.ing them and those who will follow them not to drink when serving in the temple.

I know for fact, I had read in the Quran that Allah will not permit any alcoholic to marry. It was very clear. However now, going back trying to find it is impossible. I think having many different translations has ruined the Quran.
Or perhaps maybe it was a revelation for me specifically. I have been single for 20+ years. About as long as I've been drinking.

I got non- alcoholic ginger ale for my Mom. She wanted some to look forward to when she would get out of the hospital. I forgot what brand it was but it came in a glass bottle and had decent ingredients. With beverages, it comes down to the ingredients. I even enjoy plain water and tea because the Lord blessed me with a very good water purifier. It makes a huge difference over tap.

Sure, that's completely your decision and it's fine. I'm just not going to abstain. Life is short and God made wine to make my heart merry.

I've only drank a handful of times in my life. I grew up in a religion that taught it was a sin. I no longer think it's a sin but applaud anyone who abstains because they don't want to be tempted. Perhaps it's advisable, but not commanded.
One of the handful of times I drank, I had a bunch of friends who came over to my house and watch the 1990's version of Stephen King's IT. I perhaps was walking the line between tipsy and drunk... I don't know what the difference really is as I am not a drinker and had even less of an idea how much I could have before becoming drunk.
I kept commenting about how Pennywise was just misunderstood and lonely living in the sewer. It could make anyone do bad things. He just wants to make friends and invite them over to his house (the sewer). My friends had such a blast at my movie commentary, they try to get me to drink any time we get together. Unfortunately for them, alcohol taste nasty and I don't have much interest.
