Who has seen a vision of Jesus? And what did he look like? I saw Jesus in a vision and I'm curious if anyone else has...and what he looked like. The 2nd time I couldn't see his face...it was just an out line of his body with light shinning through...I'm not sure if it was Jesus or the Father...anyway...I hear about people seeing Jesus but none of them say what he looked like, besides the little boy from heaven is for real which his Jesus looks nothing like what I saw...Anyone?? What about you Blain? Lol seriously though....

I found it difficult to believe in the Heaven Is For Real book, I don't really know why but it just didn't ring true for me. That's not to say I don't believe in NDE's or OBE...the latter of which my husband (who doesn't know Christ) had once. So yes I absolutely believe people have these experiences. I also believe God chooses some people to have visions, why he chooses some and not others is open to debate but yes I believe you saw Jesus if you say you did - I have no reason to doubt you - you aren't getting any money for posting it here lol, the only thing you might get perhaps from the odd atheist is ridicule but then as Christians we should be used to that!

Tell of more of your experience?

Yeah, but you would be amazed at how many Christians reject "visions, dream,OBE or prophetic messages"..... long story short...I was in church and a woman who was prophetic was praying over me and she began telling me things about my self that no one else would of known. I didn't know this woman, never met her...She then said Jesus wants you to come to him...and right then I saw him standing with his arms open, waiting for me..it's hard to explain but I was like a supernatural unconditional love and happiness was radiating off of him...the feelings I felt were not of this world. I was so excited that I didn't want to live anymore. I being serious! I wanted to die to be with Jesus....

I somewhat recently had two different dreams where the stars in the sky were falling and there was the presence of Jesus. Didn't exactly see him but it was where he was going to come back. These dreams happened shortly after I really started to get to know the Bible.

Yes I have met Jesus before. I could not see in great detail but he isnt that frail pale person ppl daw him as. His skin was a sort of golden tan and he wasn't ripped with massive muscules and six pack but was kind of thick medium built which I assume is from being a carpender. His voice was strong yet gentle and he has the greatest laugh. his hair is difficult to explain it was thick and brown long but not straight almost messy and somewhat curley.

That is amazing:D I had a similer experience. I used to lay in my bed in the dark and make a special connection with God. I did this quite often and one day i walk into my room and I felt apresence which was everywhere in my room. I ignored it and lay in my bed and instantly I lost all strength physically mentallly and spiritually hover I was in fathers arms and Was overcome with a love that is not of this world. This love was so deep so rich so powerful and beautiful my body was unable to contian I begged him to take my life so I could be in his arms forever. In my minds eye I saw I was on my face on the groundall my strength gone and I saw a hand gently lifting me up to stand but I said no lord I dont want to stand because I knew if I stood my strength would return and no longer be in his arms like that .

But I his voice say I need you to be strong for me my child and suddenly i was made strong again and it all ended

Jesus is God so even if you have seen anything it is just one or some aspects of Jesus or in which aspect of your life He means to you the most. It is how you see Him and what He means to you and how He chose to reveal Himself to you. It is a relationship thing. Many people have seen Jesus in vision and I dont think they have all seen the identical face, but one thing is in common: His lovingkind, holy, sinless nature. A lot of people have seen Jesus with long hair. Those who believe long hair on a man is wrong, have surely not seen Him with long hair... am I making sense so far?
There's no point to expound on my experience - the only thing that matters is that experiences always need to align with the Bible. So you need to go into the Bible for validation of the experience.

I never 'saw' Jesus, but I heard Him as loud and plain as if someone was speaking out loud.
I was lying on a bunk bed in jail (as a baby new Christian paying some old dues) and had been reading and praying for some time. All of a sudden there appeared pillars of light in the jail above my head accompanied by a voice that spoke 7 words. The voice sounded quite loud and rolling yet no one else in the tank heard it, but the 7 words have been very personal to me these 40+ years.

It is interesting to me that it's often newish Christians experiencing visions and voices. I wonder if God often uses these experiences to encourage or as some kind of confirmation.

I can relate to what you have said. I was young once too.

I believe that both encouragement (Hagar) and confirmation (Samuel) play a role.

I have not seen Him, but have heard His voice. On 3 occasions.

The biggest one I can explain to you is from a time I wasnt quite doing what I should have. I was once homosexual, and after coming to God the right way, I was struggling with a guy I was formerly with. He lived in another state, but spent alot of money to come and see me, so I felt guilty turning him away. I had been thinking about things in my head. I knew that homosexuality was in fact a sin, but was wondering if it were okay to be together without sex. So we were uhh...... well we were "cuddling", and I was going on and on in my head over whether or not this was okay, that if we just avoided sex than maybe it was alright. It was then I felt a comfort fall on me and a gentle voice say to me "This is not the way". I was shocked, and at that time I knew that it wast Gods will at all.

And heres a shocking fact, I have a friend, he has been dealing with temptations of the flesh. He had been talking about the idea of taking care of it alone while avoiding lustful thinking, and it would be okay. He recently told me that he was uhhhh, struggling with it, and when he was giving into it he heard a voice come to him and say the exact same thing! Haha when he told me this I had chills down my entire body.

When God speaks to us, its always quick, blunt and filled with meaning, and He doesnt do it twice.

God speaks to us through His Word, that should suffice.

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed;
blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

(John 20:29 / NIV)

Your testimony is amazing and is proof that homosexuality can be overcome - not that I'm saying it's easy to deny your desires. Respect...

If God wishes to speak to us with his voice who are we to say how we should hear it? Yeraza is correct in saying when he speaks its quick blunt and to the point and i have never heard him repeat himself.

I've seen angels and Jesus but could never see their faces because there were too much of light on their face.
Recently after repenting i have seen jesus and he was like in Gold from head to toe; shining too much that even in my dreams it hurts my eyes.
