1 Timothy 2:11 - Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1 Corinthians 14:34 - Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
Your statement went directly against the Bible.
For those who "think it should be this way" or "don't see what's wrong with things being that way", if it goes against the Bible, where do you think that idea is coming from? And the anger and/or frustration you may be feeling because of the injustice you think you're suffering, where do you think that is from?
The opinions that are forming from certain members in this thread are not being backed up by scripture; as a matter of fact, they're going against scripture. If you have an opinion, please back it up with scripture, because otherwise, you're misleading.
2 Peter 3:3 - First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.
2 Timothy 2:15 - Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
AND, if I have offended anyone, this one's for you:
Galatians 1:10 - Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
If I were to apologize for what I said, I would be apologizing for the teachings of the Bible. If you were offended by what I've said, you were offended by the Bible.
