Omg, then I wasn't gin bent after all last night.
When I was a drinking man I preferred either Gilbey's or Gordon's with a splash of tonic water over ice and a twist of lime.
It is really good!
This is how we make it. We use very thinly sliced ribeye and omit the spinach which basically is there for color and is so wilted and soggy that it detracts from the dish. But the flavor is delicious and it takes some prep time. Actually, it is better the next day after the flavors marry. We also add some thai dragon peppers for a little heat, some are green and add color.
