jaybird88 I agree with you on that.....so here is a example of money we know that the US deficit is in the trillions....do you know how much a trillion dollars is......if you spent I million dollars a day from the time of Jesus's birth till now you wouldn't touch it.. so how will we ever pay it off?
i think each person share is like 50 thousand. its insane. and i dont think its meant to be payed off, the whole point is to make the debt so big it crashes the system. then the banks can come in and present a solution to the very problem they created. crazy talk? how many times do we hear anyone tell us to be more conservative with money, never! its the opposite, spend spend spend. why are 30% or more of the ads for CCs which creates even more debt. Ordo ab Chao - Order out of Chaos. oldest trick in the book and corrupt leaders have been doing it since Rome.

th bible says it is easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven
Please, kindly 'finish' that you have 'quoted', according to 'as it is written' and 'said by LORD JESUS CHRIST Himself', in 'context', about a rich man's possibility to 'enter the Kingdom of GOD'.

After saying what you have 'quoted', LORD JESUS CHRIST also 'finished' by saying;

"For man somethings are impossible, but for GOD all things are 'possible' "

For GOD is 'possible' to make a rich man enter HIS Kingdom and Zacchaeus is one of them in the beginning (Luke 19;1-10), apart from many afterwards, as GOD will and let them live because of HIS AGAPE reign according to the Grace and Truth calling 'all' to 'turn back' in peace.

Zacchaeus acted well in repentance to GOD of his ancestors, upon meeting LORD JESUS CHRIST and gave back those who he have been 'hard' and 'cheated', twofold.

And Heaven rejoiced when the rich and poor sons of Israel, and of Abraham their 'father of faith', truly 'repented'.

"All-Honor, All-Praise and All-Glory be to our FATHER forever and ever, and who 'art' in Heaven and in our 'hearts' and the 'body' is HIS Temple where HIS SPIRIT lives, in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen."

Zacchaeus was a rich man more than willing to give up his riches to follow Jesus.
the rich man in mark was very excited about talking to Jesus, fell to his knees and claimed he had followed all the commandments. but Jesus asked this man to do one more thing, give up his riches. and at this the man said no more, he went away in despair because he had great wealth. the very thought of losing his riches put him in sadness. one would think eternal life and the majestic kingdom of our Lord would make someone very happy but thats not good enough to make some rich men give up all their wealth. and i think thats the point Jesus was making with the camel and needle.

As it is written and as a matter of fact, that didn't happen. Most probably after that Zacchaeus lived a 'contentment' life and collected tax from his people as only what required by the Romans. Repented Zacchaeus would have 'performed this, because this is in 'relation' to what John the Baptist said to the tax collectors who came to be baptized, written in Luke 3;12 and 13.

the rich man in mark was very excited about talking to Jesus, fell to his knees and claimed he had followed all the commandments. but Jesus asked this man to do one more thing, give up his riches. and at this the man said no more, he went away in despair because he had great wealth. the very thought of losing his riches put him in sadness. one would think eternal life and the majestic kingdom of our Lord would make someone very happy but thats not good enough to make some rich men give up all their wealth. and i think thats the point Jesus was making with the camel and needle.
i believe this rich man was proud and boastful of his wealth and religiousness, challenging and bragging even to CHRIST of his 'eligibility' to enter. When CHRIST who brought us Grace and Truth, put him to the test, and his 'countenance' fell and speechless.

But that man still have a chance to learn from Zacchaeus or anyone like him, about true repentance, and moreover this may have taken place, because it comes in 'relation' to JESUS's finishing word/teaching that and as it is written;

"For man somethings are impossible, but for GOD all things are possible."

GOD bless you all in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Goes to show that there's more to it than just following all the commandments.

[h=1]Being Rich tends you to do evil things?[/h]
here us a spin-off of other interesting thread titles you could try when you run out of ideas:

Owning a gun tends you to kill everyone?

Owning a car tends you to run people over?

Owning a computer tends you to watch porn all the time?

Being stupid causes you to blame everyone else for your own sin?

Being ignorant causes you to mistake correction for condemnation and attacking?

Owning a Bible makes you the judge of everyone but yourself?

there are many things that could be temptations with potential to lead you away from the Lord. i thnnk money leads more away than anything else. thats what i see when i look at the culture around me.
these are just how i understand it. i am not the final authority or a judge. i am just a man and i make lots of mistakes. if you dont agree its ok. people dont always agree on everything, even the best of friends.
