You can wait til "hell" freezes over, it makes no difference to me.
LOL can't answer him?

How come you are so concerned with what I beleive?
Because your eternal destiny depends on it.

Still, the fact remains, Jesus never said He was God. The Jews (of Jesus time, and even of today) do not have a "trinity." "Trinity" was a Catholic invention.
Jesus clearly did claim to be God. See below. You side with the unbelieving Jews.? well. It figures.

The triune God was introduced by the Apostles on the basis of the Old Testament. It was held from the beginning of the New Testament. You are obsessed with Roman Catholicism.

Jesus said, 'That all may honour the Son AS they honour the Father. He who does not honour the Son (as they honour the Father), does not honour the Father Who sent Him.' John 5.23

“For as the Father has life in Himself, so has He given the Son to have life in Himself” John 5.26

Jesus answered them, “MY Father is working still and I am working.” This was why the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God His own Father, making Himself equal with God John 5.17-18

“Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” John 8.58

Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father and we will be satisfied.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you do not know Me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, Show us the Father. John 14.9

“And this is life eternal, that they may know you the only true God and Jesus Christ Whom You have sent – and now, Father, glorify Me with the glory which I had with You before the world was” (John 17.5)

John said, 'In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was face to face with God, and What God was the Word was, – and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1.1, 14).

The risen Jesus said, “Baptising them in the (one) Name (YHWH) of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Matthew 28.19

And for us there is ONE GOD, the Father, from Whom are all things and for Whom we exist, and ONE LORD through Whom are all things and through Whom we exist 1 Corinthians 8.6 (in contrast with the many gods and lords)

He is the IMAGE of the invisible God, the firstBORN before the whole of creation Colossians 1.15

In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form Colossians 2.9

Awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ Titus 2.13

When the goodness and kindness of God our Saviour appeared, – which He poured out upon us through Jesus Christ our Saviour Titus 3.4, 6

In the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ – of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ 2 Peter 1.1 ,11 (exactly parallel in the Greek).

Who being the outshining of His glory and the exact representation of His substance Heb 1.3

He is the SON in contrast to all angels Heb 1.4 following.

Thomas called Him, “my LORD and my God”. John 20.28

Yes in full detail.

The Scriptural origin of the pre-incarnate Jesus:

Col.1:15 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation."

[SUP]Jn.14:28 [/SUP]“You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I."

Jn.17:3 "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

Jn.17:5 "And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began."

Beginning in Proverbs 8, pertaining to the attributes and personification of God's Wisdom, I refer specifically to verses 22 through 36, that clearly identify the pre-incarnate spirit of Jesus Christ as the WHO, of the Wisdom of God. [From the NIV].

"The Lord brought me forth as the first of His works, before His deed of old; I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning,

before the world began. When there were no oceans, I was given birth, [Vs 22-24]
when there were no springs abounding with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth, before He made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world. [Vs 24-26]

I was there when He set the heavens in place, when He marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, when He established the clouds above and fixed securly the fountains of the deep, [Vs 27-28]

when He gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep His command, and when He marked out the foundations of the earth. Then I was the craftsman at His side. I was filled with delight day after day, [Vs 29-30]

rejoicing always in His presence, rejoicing in His whole world and delighting in mankind. Now then my sons, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways. Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it. [Vs 30-33]

Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For whoever finds me finds life and
receives favor from the Lord. But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death." [Vs 34-36]

That Jesus is the Wisdom [Power and knowledge] of God is made abundantly clear in 1 Cor.1:24 and Col.2:2-3

The work of Christ not seen as the anointing Holy Spirit of God as he dwelt in the person of the Son of man named Jesus. It is attributed to the Son of God, not seen. In that way they make up one supernatural Spirit who is not a man as us. They are one not that they will become but are. And this is not just in purpose according to the mutual identity of God, as a father works with the Son .

There is no genealogy in the God head.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Some call that the trinity using that word as there way of showing others God is one Spirit in respect to two attributes, a father and Son and not two separate entities .

[SUP]The Father and the Son; Two very distinct persons!

Col.1:15 "[/SUP]The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation."

Pr.8 "The Lord brought me forth as the first of His works, before His deed of old; I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began. When there were no oceans, I was given birth, [Verses 22-24]
when there were no springs abounding with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth, before He made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world. [Vs 24-26]

I was there when He set the heavens in place, when He marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, when He established the clouds above and fixed securly the fountains of the deep," [Verses 27-28]

Jn.14:10 "Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work."

Jn.17:1 "After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: 'Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. [SUP]2 [/SUP]For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. [SUP]3 [/SUP]Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.'"

Jn.17:5 "And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began."

Rom.10:9 "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Mk.16:19 "After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God."

This is what Jesus meant when
He said He and His Father are one in Jn.10:30:

[SUP]Jn.17:11 "[/SUP]I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of[SUP][b][/SUP] your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one."

Are you one in the body of Christ, garee? Are you also a separate person from Jesus?

There is no such thing as a triune God, as the Bible clearly exposes!

The Father and the Son; Two very distinct persons!
Not in respect to Spirit as the essence of spirit life .One distinct Spirit

I see that more as two attributes used as persons of one supernatural Spirit .God is not a man as us. He uses metaphors in those parables to try and give us His understanding . Just as He uses a lamb to represent Christ or fire or any rudiment of this world as immutable authorities as to different kind of authorities of one Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit of God.

This is what Jesus meant when He said He and His Father are one in Jn.10:30:

Jn.17:11 "I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of[b] your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one."
Yes that is what he meant I and the father as two attributes are one God, not will become one as if they were two. They as attributes work together as one work of one faith. Mutually submitting to each other .The father being in a greater position but the same person as the same Spirit working together as one labor of love. . Therefore working in perfect submission to one another to bring us the peace of one God, as if there was two spirits that bring the peace of one God that surpasses all human understanding. Again for a one time outward demonstration of a work that has been finished from the foundation of the world, after another metaphor to describe him who has no form a attribute as if He was a lamb. In the same way as if He was a man as us, a father and a Son.

Are you one in the body of Christ, garee? Are you also a separate person from Jesus?
Yes as a Christian I would be considered as his bride made up of many lively stones that does make up the spiritual house of God the church . our one husband , Christ, is separated from His creation the bride. . He is the head we are the body as the mother of us all/

There is no such thing as a triune God, as the Bible clearly exposes!
Some people use the word trinity to try and explain their position. Because its personal choice some say three persons as attributes and some say two attributes as one personal God the real person..and not the metaphors to show the work of one work of one faith. Its not something we could judge one another in respect to.

Makes a good study if a person was interested in counting trying to come with a number to use to try and explain the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding. ..

Well as I see it you have given in. He is the visible image of the invisible God, the One Who was the eternal Firstborn (prototokos) over all creation. To the Greeks the firstborn was another name for the eternal reason,.

While He was on earth the Father was 'greater' than He, for He had stooped to become a man. But it was only greatness of position, not superiority of being.

But to know the Father and to know Him were parallel expressions, and He longed for the glory that He had with the Father before the world was. This in itself demonstrates His eternal equality with the Father,

There is nothing in your above post that abrogates the Scriptural facts provided for your edification in my post 1447. FYI, the marriage of the Bride/Church to the Lamb/Jesus, will take place in heaven, while the tribulation is taking place on earth, as recorded in Rev.19:7-8. All believers are members of the one body of Christ - spiritually - through the baptism of us all by the One Spirit, as recorded in 1 Cor.12:12-13.

Jesus Christ clearly revealed it in Matthew 28.19. You shutting your eyes to it doesn't mean it ceases to exist.

You are an example of being very slow on the uptake from the deception you have been blinded with, that God is a three in one person. When you open your eyes to Mt.1:20 and Lk.1:35, you will see that God, who is the Holy Spirit, is also the Father, which is the very same title you have if you have children of your own! Capiche?! Mt.28:19 is an alteration, as the Scriptures clearly reveal!

We are already united with Christ Now, spiritually is all that is eternal. the entire imagery of a marriage between Jesus and the church is the 2 becoming 1. Unity with Christ is why the imagery is used. because when people are married, the 2 people become One in Gods eyes. Paul says this

ephesians 5:24-33 "Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26to make her holy, cleansing[SUP]b[/SUP] her by the washing with water through the word, 27and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30for we are members of his body. 31“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”[SUP]c[/SUP] 32This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.33However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband."

to say we are the Body of Christ, is to say we are married to Him Now. the same kind of thing that no longer Does God dwell in a temple made by man, but the temple that IS man, Living in Our hearts through His spirit. That Now our bodies are His temple. Unity with Jesus , means unoity with God because Jesus Was United with God by the spirit, Just as we are called to be united with Him in spirit. the message of marriage to Christ, and the " Body of Christ" The children of God" all of these references refer to Unity with, Oneness with Jesus and the spirit in His word, which is what sanctifies us, or washes us clean for Gods Use. To say were the bride of Christ, means the same thing as the body of Christ. disciples of Christ, Believers of Christ. Gods Children. the Church. same principle different wordings. I wouldnt expect an actual marriage to take Place, but consider the imagery of a wedding is an image of the righteous being raised in glory with Christ who is Our Life. its the same as " clothing ourselves with Christ" the message is to " conform to Christ through the gospel and become One with Him through faith in His word.

to say we are the Body of Christ, is to say we are married to Him Now. the same kind of thing that no longer Does God dwell in a temple made by man, but the temple that IS man, Living in Our hearts through His spirit.
Ancient Jewish Marriage customs are very different than those observed here, now. Review the following:

Jewish marriage customs and the Bride of Christ - His Church in Bible Study Group Forum

The marriage of the Bride/Church to the Lamb/Jesus, together with the marriage supper, is prophecy, and has not yet taken place:

Revelation 19:7-8 (NIV)
"Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Fine linen, bright and clean,
was given her to wear.”

John 1:1 lacks the “definite article” (which would be the word *the*) in front of Theos, thus making Jesus (the Word) appear to be either “a God” or “Deity/Divine/Godlike” but not “the” God (like shown with Theon). The word was with “the Theon” (the God) and “Theos” was the word. No definite article in front of Theos, thus possibly showing a qualitative attribute, but not being “the God” though. Below is the word for word translation from the Greek.

In beginning was the word and the word was with the Theon and Theos was the word

If John wanted to show that the word was also “the” God, then he could have simply written it like this…

In beginning was the word and the word was with the Theon and the Theon was the word

Only he doesn’t. John purposely chose to only address one person as being “THE God”. He also made it a point to use Theos instead of Theon when referencing who the word was. I wonder why he would choose to do this if he intended for us to believe that the word was also “the” God?

Let’s look at this one more time, but compare the most popular, doctrinal influenced translation, to the word for word Greek.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Vs. Greek word for word.

John 1:1 In beginning was the word and the word was with the Theon and Theos was the word

A more accurate word for word translation would be as follows…

In beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and Divine was the Word.

Or to adjust for grammar (so we don’t sound like Yoda from Star Wars)…

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and the Word was Divine.

Here’s a link below to John 1:1 in its Greek.

John 1:1 Interlinear: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God;

Here’s a few verses that I’ll close this with.

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’”…John 20:17

but to the Son: Your throne, God, is forever and ever, and the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of justice. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; this is why God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy rather than Your companions…Hebrews 1:8-9

This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and the One You have sent—Jesus Christ…John 17:3

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him…Ephesians 1:17

Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort…2 Corinthians 1:3

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you..Collosians 1:3

To Timothy, a true son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. As I urged you when I went into Macedonia—remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine…1 Timothy 1:2-3

Yes, I'm in complete agreement with you on the above. In addition, it confirms my post of 1453.

NO ONE believes that God is three in one person. He is ONE Being revealed in Threeness.

When you open your eyes to Mt.1:20 and Lk.1:35, you will see that God, who is the Holy Spirit, is also the Father, which is the very same title you have if you have children of your own! Capiche?!
The Holy Spirit is NOT the father of Jesus. Nor is He God the Father. He is the One who came upon Mary in power to enable her to produce the son of God. There is no suggestion of sexual union, nor was Jesus essential being communicated to Mary.

Mt.28:19 is an alteration, as the Scriptures clearly reveal!
LOL YOU say so. The Scriptures do NOT. There is no evidence at all for changing it. It is Scripture.
