We are not the only Christians whoever existed. There is over 1900 years of Christian history behind us, we may be well off to read into it to see what we can find there.
Looking to the future for unity is like ignoring the history of Christianity, its wrong because it is very egotistical to think that the Christians of our generation are the only one's that will find unity. The Christians of ages past may have already found it.

And that is why there will NEVER be unity while this earth and our flesh still lives.
There will always be pride, and pride will not allow unity. Satan and his hoard take this pride and cause contention. One of satans greatest victories is mixing truth with lies so believab;e many fall for it. and this leads many south.

Yet history is a BAD example of who to follow. History shows since adam that for the most part. there were only a few true believers. Most of the "big religious organizations" were in error. and it is what most people followed. The high priest of the jew, (people were afraid to cross him even in Jesus time) The pope. and all the other men who filtered false doctrines and brought many into her heresy is astounding.
Thank God for his word. so those of us who want to know Gods truth can search diligently for answers.
Zero, do not let anything take your peace... Even if they call you Satan himself, Do not let go of your peace... I am here to be trialed, I am here to recieve persecution, I am here to be named hypocrate and evil one, I even call myself from Satan's workshop, becasue remember God did love me even when I was a sinner. And all sinners are sinners becasue they chose to do what Satan offered!
Those that keep on doing it, will always have only themselves to blame, The ones that chose to rather do what God offers, well they will find them in ANOTHER siruation. Not one of guilt and anger and all teh other wtuff, but the one thing they have in COMMON is a peace that NOTHING can shake...
Keep your peace, some days I really need to take a walk before I type, and then when i come back it is as though the Word of God just rise up, and I am in Truth, and in love, and in peace... Then I think on what I would have to do, to not show the BAD but the peace and love.
I have walked a long way following the lead of the Holy Spirit, and I was often told I am NOTHING, and that is not true,,, If I were nothing, Jesus would already be EVERYTHING! So I am not nothing, but I hope soon to be nothing, so that Jesus can be everything in me. And then I will not have to even woory about nothing or everything... Jesus in me, will deal with everything or nothing... It is His to do as He pleases...
For now, I have this wonderful expectancy to be COMPLETE in God! So no matter what any person say, i believe this... When Jesus send his disciples out He said,.... If a house recieve you the son of peace will be with you in that house.. And our peace shall rest upon that house. My friend KEEP this peace. Nobody can stel it from you and nobody can force you to let it go, it is YOUR sole choice to keep it... Like Daniel did... KEEP the peace, and Jesus showed us how!!!
Lord please give me Your patience to keep the peace in me, amen!

All of these heretical movements by which we have fallen into are because of our pride and lack of humility. The 38,000+ denominations are directly contrary to what St Paul is teaching us in Ephesians 4. These differnt congregations are directly opposed to Christian Unity. We cannot say that the Mormons and the Jehovah witnesses can be one when they differ doctrinally. That is like saying apples and oranges are one and the same. Heresy comes from pride, pride in one's own way of thinking. "God is not this way, or that way", "He is MY way, my way or the highway"... This arrogance caused the schims of the church.
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

there's little doubt i do not stand with either you or crossfire on many core issues.
but dear, i have forgiven your horrendous transgressions against me, and certainly am on no crusade to turn you from your beliefs. just out to counter them.
this is not only my right, but my duty.
unity is not just ONE WORD.
it involves much more than being just UNIFIED, doesn't it.
you would hardly consider yourself in unity with me...so why the facade of outstretched arms to all, 4runner? that's not who you are, why pretend it is dear?
i like it when ppl keep it real....hey! maybe that could be a start to unity.
