Job 24:5,6

- Job is in trouble so he can see injustice!

- When he was fine, he would do his best to help all kinds of people!

- Of course, it’s different when you can see injustice through your body and your brain!

- People are in trouble all around the world!

- It can happen to any of us at any time!

- Usually there is no alarm!

- When there is an alarm it’s another story!

- It’s like global warming and other stuff!

- We know it’s happening!

- Of course, there are always crazy people saying nothing is happening!

- And most of the time we wait when we are in trouble!

- It’s always difficult for men to react before getting into trouble!

- That’s why we need God’s world to take actions and to be told to take actions and do the right things at the right time!

- When we look at the Hebrews in the Bible, we see the same!

- But the Bible clearly says it is because of their opposition to Yah.weh!

- Mankind is away from Yah.weh!

- Men want to do it by themselves!

- We can see the results!

- What big boys who try to become adults!

- But the future they can offer to their children leads to darkness!

- Really intelligent or really stupid!

- And their children will keep doing what they have been taught!

- That is bringing more darkness for their own children!

Job 24:7-10

- There is a lot of misery in the world!

- There are wars!

- Diseases!

- The list is long!

- Science was supposed to solve all the problems!

- But is it really different?

- Violence, crimes!

- We are more numerous on earth!

- And we bring more trouble!

- We are consuming all resources faster and faster!

- We poison the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat!

- Species disappear faster and faster!

- Do we want to stay alone on earth?

- We need so many things yet we destroy them!

- And man is responsible!

- And he teaches his children to do the same!

- And we see our environment deteriorating faster and faster!

- And politicians have meetings!

- And they speak a lot!

- And they make promises they don’t respect!

- And politicians are fake!

- And man is fake!

Job 24:11-25

- Thirsty / dying / fatally wounded / murderer / helpless / poor / darkness / terrors!

- Man’s world is a world of injustice!

- Who cares?

- In this old world, injustice is such a power that it absorbs everything!

- And it can strike anybody both the rich and the poor!

- And yet we know nothing!

- We are just a point in the universe!

- We are just nothing!

- Whatever we do we stay ignorant!

- The grave is for everybody!

- May God turn this old and ridiculous world into his new world!

- May we have the opportunity to work hand in hand with God!

- Yah.weh is watching!

- Yah.weh is preparing the next promised land!

- Yah.weh won’t tolerate any opposition!

- Man won’t be able to damage the earth anymore!

- On the contrary, he will have to turn it into a paradise under Yah.weh’s direction!

- Think about the solar system!

- Think about the universe!

- THERE IS ORDER EVERYWHERE!

- IT WORKS!

- EVERYTHING IS RENEWING CONSTANTLY!

Job 26:1-4

- Job has spent his life helping others!

- So we can say he is an expert in the field!

- Moreover, he is old!

- So he has been doing it for quite a lot of time!

- So he can easily recognize people when they have no experience in the field!

- And the way the three individuals act shows they have no experience!

- And in the case of Job they are of no help at all!

- On the contrary!

- They oppose him!

- And above all, the last question is in fact not a question but an assertion!

- They are another tool of the devil to destroy Job!

- WORDS WITHOUT ACTIONS ARE EMPTY WORDS!

- IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO SPEAK ALL THE TIME!

- BEING PRESENT IS ESSENTIAL!

- EVERY ACTION TO HELP IS FRUITFUL!

Job 26:5-14

- Yes, Job knows that God is powerful without any limits !

- Yes, Job knows that man is powerless with all limits !

- Yes, God «has suspended the earth upon nothing» !

- Think about the time the Book of Job was written !

- And think about that scientific fact !

- While everywhere on the earth they spoke nonsense !

- Yes, God «has suspended the earth upon nothing» !

- RESPECT !

- Job explains the gigantic difference between Yah.weh and man!

- There is no possible comparison!

- When you think that man needs so much time to start understanding small elements of Yah.weh’s creation!

- They make theories which are supposed to be true till it is revealed wrong!

- What is true today will be wrong tomorrow!

- But the worst is that man is proud of it!

- It is only FAKE!

- And man keeps repeating the same mistakes!

- He will never become an adult!

- He can only stay a baby boy drinking milk!

Job 27:1-4

- The devil has deprived Job of justice!

- The devil has made Job bitter!

- And he knows that God’s spirit is in his nostrils!

- And Job will never speak unrighteousness!

- It is completely away from his mind and his way of life!

- He will never use deceit!

- Because he has God’s spirit!

- And he is exceptional!

- As God tells him!

- Job keeps straight in his boots!

- Nothing, no one can make him change his mind!

- He knows the only way!

- No two or three or four ways!

- Just one way!

- His exceptional relationship with Yah.weh!

- Based on an excellent knowledge of Yah.weh!

- And he used to live a very long time ago!

- What about today?

- Only superficiality?

- Regression!

- Complete lack of knowledge!

- Will mankind wake up one day?

- It never did it!

- Why should it change?

- Only individuals can wake up!

- When they react concretely!

- When they are active!

- When they use their brains!

- When they don’t let this modern society brainwash them!

Job 27:5-7

- Job knows why the three individuals are there!

- They can say whatever they want!

- They won’t succeed!

- Job will stay faithful to God!

- It is more precious than anything else!

- And he has not done anything wrong!

- He knows people are trying to destroy him!

- To destroy the relationship he has with God!

- INTEGRITY!

- RIGHTEOUSNESS!

- What about our integrity?

- What about our righteousness?

- What do we do personally for that?

- Do we act personally for them?

- Are we active?

- What kind of activity?

- Does Yah.weh expect us to act in such a way?

Job 27:8-10

- HOPE!

- HOPE is essential to Job!

- Especially because of what he is enduring!

- And straight away he wanted to die!

- To escape his pain and suffering!

- But hoping that God will remember him and his faithfulness!

- And resurrect him!

- Do we have hope?

- Is our hope strong enough?

- Is our hope alive?

- Do we keep it alive?

- What do we do to have hope?

- What is our hope based on?

Job 27:11,12

- Job knows about God!

- And God knows about Job!

- And they have a mutual respect for one another!

- And Job will keep speaking about God till his death!

- He knows that the three individuals don’t come from God!

- They may have visions!

- But it is not from God!

- Because their words and speeches are empty!

- They don’t help anybody!

- And they don’t know how to help people!

- They probably don’t know how to help themselves!

- Do we speak about God?

- How often?

- Do we encourage people to read and think about and understand the Bible?

- As a consequence, does Yah.weh really know us personally?

- Or are we a stranger to him?

Job 27:13-23

- According to Job, the wicked man has nothing to do with God !

- And he will pay for his bad actions !

- But he has already said that the wicked man flourishes !

- We know this world is full of injustice !

- And it will only change when God puts an end to this old world !

- For men it is hard to wait !

- Because time doesn’t mean the same for God or for man because we only live a short time !

- And we have not been created for such a short time !

- Of course, God limited again and again the time we live because the more we live the more we bring trouble !

- And it is particularly true with tyrants and political leaders and religious leaders and business leaders!

- They just want to take advantage of people!

- They have their time of glory!

- But they get old!

- Their physical and mental abilities go down!

-They finish like normal people!

- They can have all the wealth they want, but in the end nothing is left!

- You can’t bring anything with you when you die!

- On the contrary, when you work for Yah.weh, you accumulate wealth in heaven!

- Nobody can take it from you!

- And above all, when you keep busy working for Yah.weh, your brain keeps building up!

- You have no time to think about death!

- And when you die, you feel satisfied and can expect resurrection!

- Then you understand that eternal life isn’t automatic, it depends on what you have done for Yah.weh during all your life!

Job 28:1-11

- Man does everything he can to get precious material from below the earth!

- There is no limit!

- In fact, man is only interested in getting material wealth!

- Money! Money! Money!

- How many people died digging the soil to extract material wealth!

- Many!

- Man is greedy!

- He pollutes the earth for material wealth!

- Only God will stop them when he puts an end to this old world!

- Man has become a specialist in getting material wealth!

- In fact, he tries to get everything he can from the earth!

- He is ready to do anything!

- If he could go to other planets, he would do the same!

- He is ready to destroy everything!

- At the same time, he kills himself but slowly!

- And he keeps doing it!

- Thus he kills himself faster and faster!

- But he doesn’t care!

- He pollutes everything!

- He doesn’t care if the earth doesn’t belong to him!

- But he will have to pay the price!

- Not only because his living conditions are getting worse and worse!

- But because Yah.weh will strike him in such a way that he will eradicate him!

- Only those who are ready to obey him will be accepted on the new promised land!

Job 28:12-19

- Wisdom is another story!

- Man doesn’t care about wisdom!

- Man cares about material wealth!

- Too different!

- That’s why we are where we are!

- Man only knows what is superficial!

- The problem is man can’t buy wisdom!

- And the problem is that it’s worth much more than material wealth!

- And I am not speaking about human wisdom!

- As far as we can see, it is good for nothing!

- Yah.weh’s wisdom is far more interesting!

- The question is where we can find it!

- Only in the Bible!

- Yes, but how can we get it?

- Not by listening to others!

- Only if we do the job!

- And what is the job?

- Studying hard and regularly!

- Not once for a while!

- But again and again!

- We must strive!

- The Hebrews were supposed to teach their children about it everywhere every time!

- But they didn’t do it!

- And they did a bad end!

- Same for mankind!

- Do you remember the Bereans in the Acts?

- They would check everything in the Bible that was taught to them!

- Learning about Yah.weh means learning about the Bible!

- Making regular progress!

- No progress, no learning, no relationship with Yah.weh!

- And no excuses!

- It won’t be possible to say I didn’t know!

- But I didn’t do anything!

Job 28:20-28

- The problem for man is that he knows partially!

- And it won’t change!

- And he doesn’t learn from the past!

- He always makes the same errors!

- And he can’t control his feelings!

- And he will always be a child!

- He doesn’t want to become an adult!

- The fear of God is wisdom and turning away from bad is understanding!

- Look around you!

- Look everywhere!

- Who can say the contrary!

- And don’t forget one thing: the devil is the god of this world!

- The spirit of this world is the one from the devil!

- We breathe such a spirit!

- It has spread everywhere!

- And everything is getting worse!

- And it is getting faster and faster!

- As a pandemic that no one can stop!

- Even natural catastrophes are getting stronger and stronger!

- The storm of the century!

- But it doesn’t matter if it is the strongest of the century!

- It won’t be as unimaginable as the Day of Yah.weh!

Job 29:1-6

- Job thinks about the past!

- When he had a special relationship with God!

- When his children were alive!

- When he could live decently!

- And it is the worst!

- Because now he has nothing!

- And he has no hope!

- He can only defend himself!

- And tell about his pain and suffering!

- Or it can also be for the best!

- Because it means hope!

- Job knows he didn’t do anything wrong!

- So he doesn’t understand what’s on!

- Thus everything should go back to normal!

- And because of the special relationship head with Yah.weh, he knows that his God can’t let him down!

- He can only be restored!

- On the one hand, Job can think of the present because he lives in a terrible situation!

- On the other hand, he can think of the past because he used to live in a good condition with a special relationship with Yah.weh!

- And thus it means thinking of the future with his personal restoration!

- Because once again Job has good reasons for doing it!

Job 29:7-10

- Job speaks about the past !

- When he was respected by everybody !

- Young and old, rich and poor used to respect him !

- Everybody would let him speak !

- What a difference !

- Today it is as if he is dead !

- As if he was nobody !

- Everybody has forgotten what he did !

- It tells you about the reality of life!

- We must be ready to lose everything!

- Nothing is for sure!

- We must train ourselves for any situation!

- Nothing is established!

- We must learn to be nobody!

- Adaptation is required!

- Especially during the time we are living now!

- Life must matter!

Job 29:11-17

- Job was respected because he would help people !

- The poor, the fatherless, anyone without a helper !

- The one about to perish, the widow !

- He acted with justice for everybody !

- Thus we understand better when God speaks about him as unique !

- There was no one like him on earth !

- Righteousness!

- Justice!

- He was ready to do anything to help people!

- Job was special!

- He had a special relationship with Yah.weh!

- He demonstrated his friendship to Yah.weh actively!

- Thus Job shows us the way!

- Do we demonstrate our friendship to Yah.weh actively?

- Or are we strangers?

Job 29:18-25

- Job had a normal life !

- He couldn’t imagine it would change so fast !

- That he would lose everything !

- And hope in life !

- Everybody would listen to him and keep silent !

- He was highly appreciated !

- It is usual for men to think that his life will keep on going as usual!

- But they are amateurs!

- Anything can happen at any time!

- When you get ready for any change, then it is easier to cope with such a change!

- A mental preparation is required!

- Think about the Hebrews when they left Egypt!

- They never adapt to the new situation!

- They made a bad end!

- We can say the same with mankind when the flood came!

- We can say the same when Yah.weh erases human society in the near future!

- Man never adapts!

- He never listens to Yah.weh!

- He only waits for the catastrophe to come!

Job 30:1-14

- He speaks about people who laugh at him!

- They are not in a better position!

- They spit in his face!

- They do everything they can to make his life worse!

- It is as if he had done no good!

- And he can’t defend himself and nobody will help him!

- Now they are in the same condition!

- But they act against him!

- He was respected, it is not the case anymore!

- He is down the pit!

- He doesn’t matter who we are!

- We all become old!

- We all become ill!

- We all die!

- We are told about life expectancy!

- What is more interesting is healthy life expectancy!

- And especially mental health!

- Keep being able to control our own lives!

- Job can’t control his life anymore!

- Yah.weh is going to destroy this world!

- Can we think about this type of life expectancy?

- What is the time left?

- And above all, can we increase our life expectancy to eternal life in Yah.weh’s world?

- Job could live a lot more because of his faithfulness to Yah.weh and in good condition!

Job 30:15-18

- Terror

- No more dignity!

- No salvation!

- Affliction!

- Aching!
- Gnawing pain!

- Who would like to be in Job’s situation?

- And that’s where he is!

- Thanks to the devil!

- Do you think that religious leaders are better?

- We can’t even imagine the deep stress of Job!

- The devil is personally responsible!

- The situation is particularly exceptional!

- To have an idea, we can think about our own situation if we have known a really bad situation!

- Of course, it has nothing to do with it!

- Or someone we know personally!

- If we don’t have personal examples, then it is more difficult to understand!

- It can explain why many people can’t fully understand Job’s situation!

- Or even completely misunderstand it!

- But getting into trouble is easy!

- And we may not be responsible!

- It is something which is always difficult to cope with!

- Thus it is important to think about before it happens!

- We must get ready!

- Think about Yah.weh’s Day!

- It is something we can’t even imagine!

- It is going to be something with exceptional violence!

- Extremely stressful!

- It is something we have to take into account without excess!

- But it requires our attention!

- The better we prepare for it, the easier we will get through it!

- It will be an incredible shock and a complete change!

- Think about the Hebrews who left Egypt to the desert and who didn’t get into the promised land!

Job 30:19-24

- Yes, he is in trouble!

- But because of the devil!

- And he cries for help from God!

- And he doesn’t answer him!

- Because of the devil!

- And that’s the worst for Job!

- Because he thinks God has left him!

- Like everybody!

- And the devil is having fun!

- But it is painful for God!

- But he has to wait!

- Being accused of something you didn’t do is hard!

- You want to defend yourself!

- You must defend yourself!

- It has to do with justice!

- But here the question is Job’s faithfulness!

- And Yah.weh can’t intervene to prove that whatever happens, he will stay faithful to Yah.weh!

- It is cruel but it is so!

- The devil is cruel!

- And he will pay the price for his cruelty and much more!

- Once again Yah.weh’s justice has nothing to do with man’s justice!

- There is no possible comparison!
