Job 19:12-20


- Is it possible to be more VICIOUS?

- The devil has been closing all the doors, one after one!

- Enjoying himself when closing each one!

- Enjoying each blow!

- And leaving some hope to Job before taking it away!

- And repeating the action again and again!

- Everybody has left Job, even his own family!

- He can’t even recognize himself!

- Even his body has left him!

- And the devil has well organized everything!

- When Job takes note of all his problems, it helps him to organize himself for survival!

- He perfectly understands that he can only count on himself!

- Nobody will come and rescue him!

- So he must keep being strong!

- Or better said, he must get stronger and stronger!

- And in fact, as this human world is collapsing faster and faster, we need to get stronger and stronger!

- There is no room for weakness!

Job 19:21,22

- Why are they acting as if they were his enemies?

- They were supposed to help him!

- If they are sent by the devil, everything is clear!

- Because he uses all the weapons he can to destroy Job!

- Because he is insidious!

- They act as the devil does!

- His word is clear: they persecute him!

- And no letup!

- Definitely his enemies!

- When you are a friend, you help your friend!

- When we see how someone acts, we can easily understand for whom he works or who his father is!

- Being a faithful servant of Yah.weh means a lot!

- He doesn’t mean you are perfect!

- But it is possible to see the differences with others!

- If there aren’t any differences, you aren’t a faithful servant of Yah.weh!

Job 19:23-29

- Job keeps thinking that sooner or later he will see God!

- And he warns the three individuals!

- Because he knows they act badly against him!

- How right he is!

- They are judged!

- And they are condemned by God!

- Job is sure that God will prove him right!

- And he will put them into his hands!

- Such a clairvoyance!

- Those who criticize Job should remember these verses!

- Everybody is against him!

- He is alone against everybody!

- He is right and everybody is wrong!

- The number doesn’t count!

- What counts is your motivation to tell the truth and fight for it!

- Thus it will prove your real value!

- The majority is usually wrong!

- They usually choose the wrong way!

- It has always been so and it is not going to change!

- It indicates the real degree of man’s intelligence!

Job 21:1-3

- Job uses the word carefully!

- It means they should listen to him!

- It means they are wrong!

- He also uses the word consolation!

- It means that he doesn’t want anything from them!
- He knows they are not here to help him!

- He knows they are not his friends!

- Your words tell who you are!

- He can only count on him!

- And he will keep fighting!

- They can mock him!

- He doesn’t care!

- Job knows who he is!

- He knows his abilities!

- He knows the deep relationship he has with Yah.weh!

- No one can discuss it!

- If we want to do the same, we must do our part!

- We must study the Bible daily and seriously!

- We must let it penetrate us as deep as possible!

- No one else will do it for us!

- It’s now or never!

Job 21:4-6

- Job keeps complaining toward God!

- He is his only reference!

- There is nobody else who matters for Job!

- And he will not stop!

- Because he is used to communicating to God!

- And he will keep expressing his pain and suffering!

- He has not changed his mind!

- His partner is God and nobody else!

- He wants to express himself!

- He doesn’t want to listen to the three men!

- Because he feels bad!

- And he needs to say it with his own words!

- For him, it is a necessity!

- Others can’t express themselves when they suffer!

- Job can!

- Everyone is different!

- Sometimes you get crazy when you speak!

- Sometimes it is necessary to let time reduce pains!

Job 21:7-15

- Job suffers and feels bad!

- For him, life is not fair!

- When he had a good life he could have said the contrary!

- We are influenced by our own living conditions!

- We know that in this world life is not always fair!

- We also know that anything can happen!

- We must always be ready to fight!

- Many people think that God is responsible for our situation!

- Whereas men are responsible!

- They have always said they could do it without God!

- The Hebrews did the same!

- But they were destroyed!

- And the world is getting into pieces!

- And it goes faster and faster!

- And they can’t find any solution!

- And they won’t find any solution!

- All indicators are red!

- And anxiety rises and rises!

Job 21:16-18

- We see many questions from Job!

- He is perplexed!

- He is lost because of his personal situation!

- He had a normal life!

- And now everything is upside down and he doesn’t know why!

- Who wouldn’t feel the same in such a situation?

- Especially when you feel alone!

- But he knows that at the end the bad one has a bad end!

- Just think about someone who smokes a lot!

- Apparently, he may not have health problems!

- But sooner or later it happens!

- And many get cancer and pain and suffering!

- We can say the same with those who are drunkards!

- What about those who take drugs!

- When you live dangerously for your health or your life, you pay the consequences!

- And the list of examples is a huge one everywhere in the world!

Job 21:19-21

- Job expresses his incertitudes!

- But once again it tells about his own feelings!

- About his stress!

- As he can’t communicate anymore to God, that’s how he expresses himself!

- But he tells how much he needs such communication!

- That’s why it is unbearable!

- It is like breathing and eating and drinking and sleeping!

- When you have a routine, it is difficult not to have it!

- And for Job, his relationship is like a routine!

- But a positive one!

- Something which makes you stronger each day!

- Nothing is easy in this world!

- We need to build up our minds!

- The Bible contains examples of faithful servants of Yah.weh!

- We need this source of spiritual growth!

- We need this spiritual training to penetrate our minds deep inside!

- We should be able to see them in front of our eyes!

Job 21:22-26

- A man can have a good or bad life!

- But for Job one thing is clear!

- When a man dies, his end will be the same: dust and maggots!

- Before, he was looking for death!

- Because for him it was a relief!

- But now he doesn’t say that anymore!

- Only that death is the same for all people, that is the void!

- When Job speaks, everything is clear!

- He never dreams!

- He always speaks directly!

- He has nothing to do with human tradition!

- Only what Yah.weh taught him!

Job 21:27- 34

- According to Job’s experience, the wicked one thrives !

- Thus the men who are speaking to him are wrong !

- He knows exactly what they want to do!

- They fight him!

- They are against him!

- They are not helpful at all !

- Thus they should keep silent !

- They are envious!

- They probably rejoice of his situation!

- But sometimes someone’s presence is better than words !

- Dogs don’t speak but their presence can do a lot !

- But empty words don’t bring comfort !

- Job keeps fighting!

- His fighting spirit is incredible!

- He gets his strength from Yah.weh!

- Because he let him teach him!

- Because he let his teaching penetrate him deep inside!

- Without stopping!

Job 23:1-5

- Job can only complain stubbornly!

- It means to keep being alive !

- Or feeling alive !

- He is looking for God !

- He wants to speak to God !

- And defend himself in front of him !

- But he is also ready to listen to God !

- And take into account his opinion !

- He is exhausted but he finds the strength to keep fighting!

- His opponents should listen to such words!

- Maybe they need to face big problems to understand Job’s situation!

- Or they could read the Bible a bit more seriously!

- It’s an obligation!

- If you don’t understand the book of Job, how do you want to understand the rest of the Bible?

- We must develop such a knowledge of Yah.weh!

- It doesn’t come by chance!

- it requires material!

- And through the Bible, we can trace faithful servants of Yah.weh and how they developed a strong relationship with him!

- We must get deep inside!

We must get to know them as if they were members of our own family or friends!

Job 23:8-10

- When you have a special relationship with someone, you get energy and strength and power from it !

- It is vital !

- You can’t live without it !
- Imagine what happens when this relationship interrupts abruptly !

- It is like a stroke !

- The devil knows perfectly what he does when he does it !

- The violence is unbelievable !

- Destructive !

- And Job knows he is tested and refined to become pure gold !

- Thus Job keeps looking for Yah.weh!

- And it will always be so!

- No question!

- It is a hard time for him!

- And he knows that his real value, which is pure gold, will get out!

- He is sure about that!

- Are we pure gold regarding our relationship with Yah.weh?

- Interesting question!

Job 23:11

- His footsteps, his way!

- Closely and without deviating!

- It is probably difficult to understand what Job says here because we live in a superficial world!

- Job lives in a deep world!

- He is an upright man of integrity!

- Fearing God and shunning what is bad!

- He is afraid of his children to sin against God in their heart!

- Many people probably can’t understand what it means because we live in a superficial world!

- And it is difficult to go deep inside!

- It requires hard work!

- And they will miss the trial!

- Job knows what he speaks about!

- Our world is so superficial that we must study the Bible harder and harder if we want to follow Yah.weh’s steps!

- We can’t let this superficial world keep contaminating us!

- We must renew our personalities!

- We must refresh our personalities!

- We must prepare for what is coming!

- We must get stronger and stronger for the coming gigantic storm!

- “the commandment of his lips”!

- It tells about the kind of relationship between God and Job!

- From mouth to ear!

- Absolutely not superficial!

- But deep inside!

- And hard work!

- Something highly valuable!

- Exceptional and thus difficult to understand for human beings!

- “I have treasured up his sayings”!

- Who treasures God’s word like Job?

- The difference between superficiality and depth!

- “Even more than what was required of me”!

- A level far beyond what normal human beings can reach!

- Job did more than he was supposed to do!

- It can explain why there is no one like him on earth!

- Why doing more than what's expected from us!

- It shows how far we value our relationship with Yah.weh!

- So unusual in this superficial world!

Job 23:13,14

- In fact, very few faithful servants of God could prevent him from directly destroying the Israelites or acting in their favor!

- At the end they had to pay the price for their foolishness!

- Regarding Job, it is the devil!

- Regarding Job, the devil is in a rage!

- And he is ready to do anything that God tolerates him to do against Job!

- And the devil is in a rage against those who stay faithful!

- And he always wants more followers!

- He has never enough!

- The devil goes to destruction and he wants to bring to destruction as many people as he can!

- Here Job tells us about Yah.weh’s determination!

- He is the God of the Promise or of the Promises!

- Apparently, it is really hard for men to understand it!

- They turned him into something else, something which has no taste, no smell, something you can’t see, you can’t hear, you can’t touch!

- ANXIOUS - FEAR - FAINTHEARTED - AFRAID

- Yes, Job is anxious!

- But it is because of the devil!

- Yes, his fear grows!

- But it is because of the devil!

- Yes, he is fainthearted!

- But it is because of the devil!

- Yes, the devil has made him afraid!

- The devil has a lot of responsibility!

- And he keeps working hard!

- To help people opposing God!

- And destroying the relationship between God and Job!

- And destroying the relationship between God and us!

- And the stronger the better, like in the case of Job!

- since the devil started opposing Yah.weh, he has been working very hard so the majority of men would oppose him!

- And till the end, he will keep doing it!

- He has the same determination as Yah.weh but to do the opposite!

- He has nothing to lose!

- And there is no way back!

- Same for the demons!

- But men can go back to Yah.weh before it is too late!

- That’s a big difference!

- It is something valuable!

- If we can value it!

- The question is do we really value life?

- But Job is still fighting!

- And he is not ready to do it!

- In fact, God knows Job!

- But it is hard work!

- No hard work, no deep personal relationship!

- The devil tests Job’s limits!

- Job is at the border!

- Just like Voyager when it left the solar system!

- We don’t know what comes next!

- Men have an incredible ability to adapt to new situations!

- They can find new resources to survive!

- When we may think there is no hope, we can still find energy!

- Freeing such energy can lead us to a new dimension, a new perception of reality and thinking!

- Then we may realize that we can do more!

- The devil strikes Job again and again !

- And Job doesn’t see the end of it !

- It is really hard when you are in trouble and it seems it will never end !

- Of course, man is able to endure again and again !

- Men usually adapt to adversity !

- He is supposed to be flexible !

- But there is a limit !

- A mental and physical one !

- It is different for each individual according to his own experience !

- Thus we can’t take into account our own limits!

- We must adjust to each individual if we want to help him or her!

- Now Yah.weh set a time to put an end to this human society!

- But it is according to Yah.weh’s time which has nothing to do with man’s time!

- We must adjust to Yah.weh’s time and to Yah.weh’s justice to assimilate facts and events!

Job 24:2-4

- Job tells us about injustice on earth!

- He doesn’t see any justice at all!

- Usually people say there is justice for the rich and another for the poor!

- The Bible is full of such examples!

- Real justice belongs to God!

- We can’t expect real justice in this world!

- It’s difficult to define man’s justice!

- It is made by men who are partial and who know partially!

- We can only wait for God’s world and see what real justice is!

- In fact, we can compare man’s world to animal’s world!

- We get the law of the strongest!

- The strongest can do whatever they want!

- Usually, all powers work together (political, commercial and religious)!

- They have always worked together to control people!

- We can now add the power of media!

- Justice is a show!

- It has always been a show!

- With public execution!

- Like circus games!
