Hi KJV: Yes, but if we cannot clearly define the false doctrine then we have a problem. I have debated JWs many times and have always enjoyed it, if you really know the scriptures you can turn them on their head and be polite at the same time. I am still trying to understand the terrible crime against the Christian faith that ISIT has committed. He seems to be saying that as a Christian we need to forsake sin and walk close to God...is that wrong?

this is God's word to Jeremiah in that chapter was about the Judgement on Israel. again, a specific word to a specific person. not a general statement.

That's called comparing spiritual things with spiritual by way of the Holy Spirit. (but you need the Holy Spirit to see it) :)
