i was delivered from lusting after the same sex. it is a lust of the flesh. you are not truly gay. just decide you will no longer lust after men. it's that easy! it's about knowing the truth and the truth will set you free. the bible says we choose to lust after the same sex, we are not wired to be gay or lesbian. god wouldn't wire us like that and then say it's a sin. he made man for woman and woman for man. if you want some scriptures to meditate on, let me know! you are free of homosexual lust in jesus name... get alot of prayer!

I always marvel at these threads. It is not what we do not understand from Gods word that causes the problem but that we do not like what we do understand from Gods word.

The One Who judges is not yours truly but God. His judgment is clear and easily understood. God will save the sodomite.

The woman is the spirit or wisdom that comes from Adam (mankind) as his helpmeet.
And you know this How???

So men (mankind) abandoned the natural function of a woman (wisdom as a SILENT helpmeet) and burned with desire toward one another such as what's happening on this thread.
Like I said, you understand nothing of the scriptures. The context of that pericope is not "women as a silent helpmeet" it is the abandonment of revealed constraints for human behavior in favor of a human epistemological standard that resulted in the collapse of morality which in turn brought about the judgment of God.

Does God spell out the Law upon which He will base His judgment, if one is not covered by the blood of Christ -- or are we all just guessing here, at what is "righteous" or "unrighteous"?

Does being so covered not also require repentance, not for "continued salvation," which cannot be lost, but so the believer may have a good conscience?

The bible says it. This isn't taught in your church because then they and the state cannot make any money from their view of what marriage is.

And again I state that I do. It is you who cannot see what I see.

If a rainbow is in the sky, some will see the whole rainbow. Others will only see part of it. Yet there will be those who won't see it at all!

Why is this so? Because it is all a matter of where one is at! Should then the one who cannot see it from his vantage point belittle or demean the one who can see it all from where he's standing?

Is the one who saw nothing wrong in what he saw? You should know these things.

You obviously have no acquaintance with the Church with which I worship.

How on earth does this stand as a rebuttal of what scripture says concerning how God feels about homosexual behavior.

On this you are correct. God don't pay no bills!

That you are seeing it from a viewpoint that I have already moved from. Just like the man who couldn't see the rainbow at all, are you wrong concerning the law? No, but why go to it to defame your brother of which Christ died for? Why not instead take the loss in love to justify him? It is the latter which gains Christ and not the former!

I am reading the text, I simply understand them. Do we need money to live? Is that world the truth or is it suppressed?
As this is a fallen world due to the sin of Adam, yes, we do need money, or an agrarian ability, to live. We either buy it, or we grow it ourselves. We must buy, sell, trade, and barter to survive, our caretaking by the hand of the Father having been forfeited through our ancestors' disobedience and self-deception.

Again in proper understanding, ADAM represents ALL of mankind both male and female. They are the "man!" The woman is the spirit or wisdom that comes from Adam (mankind) as his helpmeet. So men (mankind) abandoned the natural function of a woman (wisdom as a SILENT helpmeet) and burned with desire toward one another such as what's happening on this thread.
This is an absurd twist of the Word of God, and borders very closely with the heretical view of Eve and the overall "identity" of women as expressed by early feminists who were the first to attempt to subvert the view of the Bible and the Creation. The "follow up" to this is that the Bible twists the "real" character of the snake, that being life, longevity, ancestry, generation, health, healing, and immortality. That is equally, if no more, heretical.

No offense intended, but this is utter nonsense. I have to call it what it is, but do not mean to impugn you with the characterization. And by the way, the Bible does not say what you claim about women equating to the overall "wisdom" of mankind -- else we are in great and dire straits, since the "wisdom of mankind" was deceived by a stupid snake!

Read my post, #23.

As I have read the comments since my Post, all I have read is a discussion about whether his lifestyle is right or wrong rather than answer the real question that he asked. My friends, he knows that his lifestyle is wrong. Please direct him to the only man who can answer answer his question. His problem is that he comes to man for an answer, rather than taking it to God. Do you believe that God will ignore his question? I know he will.

You just really do not care what scripture has to say about this or how God feels about it do you?

This is just an excuse to hide the truth of our own sins. Adam is dead! Why then are we still following his lead??? And look around you at all the wonderful technology we have today. If lack of money is the reason millions are homeless and starving then surely in its absence we can freely feed all!

Not a twist, it's simply not what you're used to hearing. Your "church" or mainstream Christianity doesn't teach you this because they want you to continue to believe that "this is a fallen world due to the sin of Adam" so "we do need money." It's all a scam! If you all listen to me, we can end all inequality, homelessness, poverty and crime! You can have everything you imagined or even haven't imagined as peace would reign on the earth! No more wars and sicknesses.

No offense taken. I was already warned that the things of God would be foolishness to you.

By that if you mean following behind you blind people then no. I am not programed as such. There is no law against forgiveness, and I judge him not! If I were to see him, he is more than welcome to fellowship with me as always when two are in agreement, He will be in our midst!

It isn't lack of money that millions are homeless and hungry. It is the state of the world. Jesus said we would always have the poor with us.

Actually, that's exactly what it is.

Funny. I was warned of the same thing regarding you.

And a note to all posting ... we are so far ...

The only 'question' this 37 yr old that's been in Church all of his life is asking is ..... If there's a Church that we can recommend for those that are determined to remain/stay homosexual.

You ask ... "Do believe that God will ignore his question?" .... you then answer .... "I know he will".

Typo or not --- it's not for us to say unless He Really Has turned him over to a reprobate mind [Roms 1] - then he'll find a 'church' where all are living his lifestyle and he will hate The Word of God made flesh and written -- if we know what He's said clearly enough.

I know someone just like your grandson. He graduated from Bible College with a degree, became a pastor, married a wife as a 'cover' and gradually became more and more insane from faking Christianity and tried to kill his wife in a very sneaky way so that it would look like an accident, because he wanted to fully come out of the closet and be single to live his lifestyle and yet to continue to present himself as a Christian. In fact he tried a few ways to kill and get her to leave before The Lord finally made a way of escape for his wife through a good Church. Rough stuff - because she tried to love him out of what she thought was just his 'struggling' and almost gave her life for the love of him for 30 yrs.

I pray better for your grandson and my heart truly does go out to you, friend!!

That state is we love it, and the evil it brings. Money is our God.
Actually, that's exactly what it is.
Instead of assuming this, simply ask how I see this and from what scripture? Instead like scared children we ridicule things we do not understand in order to feel accepted by our same scared and lost peers. I am not afraid of being wrong, nor of testing what I believe daily.

Please don't patronize me as though you "know" a truth that I, or others as Christians, can't see, because the truth is found in God's word, and it is you who cannot see it.
It would seem that I do as you all still do not understand that true marriage is the flesh and the spirit. Nichola Telsla said that his wonderful inventions came from HIS understanding of the bible, especially Revelations! Should I ridicule him for seeing something in truth that I cannot!?

Funny. I was warned of the same thing regarding you.
I wish you success, even if you wish me the opposite.
Sooner or later, we'll all see who the prophet is!

First of all, that church does not walk in the love of Christ. So leave. Christ walked among sinners all the time and LOVED them!!
2ndly, the condition of being gay is a demonically induced condition. Most likely through no fault of your own!. God did NOT create you that way. But how wonderful He is to have made a way for you to get free!!
You need to find a church that understands deliverance and practices it. If you want to message me privately and let me know what city you live in, I will do some searching to find a church that can help you.
Homosexuality is a condition that the devil instigates in order to keep a person out of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Let's talk.
Maggie
Good gracious talk about scaring someone to death, ease down Ida Mae Hammond....Lets go from a pastor stating the obvious:

To you: let me git that thar demon outta yer soul boyee....

That Pastor had the love of Christ in him, he explained as most churches do not the reason he could not allow him to be a member or be in any leadership role.

He did not kick him out of the church, he just stated he could not be a member, which in today's denominations, usually gives someone voting rights on church matters and that's it.

I had this same talk routinely with people as a pastor.

We had one lady who wanted to be on the platform and sing on the praise team, yet she took a singing gig at a local strip club. She did not take her clothes off and only sang, but did have to wear lingerie while performing.

We Had another man who was "led" to be a children's pastor and wanted to help in the childrens ministry but had a former conviction of indecent exposure to a child.

Then there was a couple that wanted to be the young married couples pastors, but had trouble in their own marriage and were legally separated.

The list goes on and on, telling someone in love they cannot be a member or in leadership is not hate mongering, it is wisdom. What is not wisdom, is showing the person the door, which it does not sound like this Pastor did.

What really is not wisdom is making a discernment over the internet w/o even meeting someone and then having the fix already to go and claiming a condition exists based on the latest deliverance book of the club month read.

His pastor did reject him; his pastor told him he could no longer be a member.
Becoming a member does not mean you have to leave...

I have not been a member of a church for over 5 years.....won't be either, because it does not mean a thing. The church we are in and have been in for the last 5 years is something our pastors and we consider a HOME church. Part of the reason for this is we have a traveling ministry and a prison ministry and i am not always available to be at every service my home church has.

My Pastors understand this. There are times we attend where the Pastors ask our help on prayer lines, etc, or discern something and ask me to whats on my heart and let me share for 10-20 minutes.

The kid ought to rejoice he does not have to be a member, because iot means nothing, except that you get to vote on Billy Bob, Bubba or CLetus as the next deacons... :D

You said that he should seek answers from God but then said God will ignore his question. :)
