I said it many times

your trust is not in The Lord Jesus

Your trust is in man made items

Christians are suppose to trust in God and not the hand of man

Jesus is the Shield and buckler

Smith and Wesson is not
Colt 45 is not

And by what authority would you smite another man iog?
If you dont like the laws of the land of the US, then what brings you here?
Where did I say I don't like the laws of the land?

Your emotions are getting the best of you!

There is no other country I would want to go or even visit!!

Why would I need to take a man's life God's creation

Read this and learn

Ephesians 5:25 (KJV)
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

We have I give up our lives for the word of God and our family

The Lord rebukes you iog
Why would The Lord rebuke me who trust in him

I don't have a weapon before God

Do you even know what you are talking about

I won't take another mans life and I allow The Lord to protect me

Learn what the verse is about before you even try using it?

You are getting emotional again

The rules states that you need a time out

Most gun owners are emotional when this subject is brought up like you

Next time you try this

Do it correctly

You have to call the name Jesus

What Lord do you want rebuking me?

Good grief

Matthew 5:9 (KJV)
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Romans 14:17 (KJV)
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 7:15 (KJV)
But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases : but God hath called us to peace.

1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV)
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Do God bring peace or do weapons bring peace

Why does God want us to put on his amour?

Ephesians 6:11-17 (KJV)
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. [12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places . [13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. [14] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; [15] And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; [16] Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. [17] And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Satan will come after us with people evil people to do us harm and shake our faith

The weapons we have from God is not man made !!!

Colossians 3:12-13 (KJV)
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; [13] Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Don't blow the person head off?

I call upon the one and only Lord in which every knee shall bow Christ Jesus to rebuke you for using.

HIS WORD..........as your weapon.

Ive noticed that from the moment youve been here you have predominantly attacked this thread, the US citizens rights by law and under the God given authority of the US instituted laws to make attempts to convince the US public to effectively disarm themselves as well as ....
88% of all your posts are predominantly on this thread advocating against self-defense and improperly using Gods word to do so. Who's the one thats being emotional?
And you still havent answered by what authority you would smite another man.
It is unwise to use threats you cant support.
And if you call upon the Lord, to do your smiting for you,
It would be wise for you to think twice about that one. (or three times if thats what it takes)
Because God isnt at your beck and call.

Go read the post about putting on the armour of God and tell me what weapons do he supply his servants with.

Are you really capable of defending yourself when The Lord send someone your way

If you do survive is by your strength or the grace and mercy of God?

both, Guns are used to kill people and they were used to kill the Britts and establish the great nation of the United States they were also used to kill the Germans to defeat Hitler, Guns were taken away from the Jews and guess what? the German Gov still had theirs, and then the Jews were unarmed sitting ducks led to be murdered (6 million of them including women and Children) The media in Germany propagated the whole thing just like what they are doing in the USA...Governments throughout history have been the mass murderers and they don't seem like they are going to give their guns up.

Understood iog, Now.........................
Go tell the same to any Govt. wishing to enslave its own people and see if you can convince them as well and we all live in peace
Because just as Christ is the Authority and example so should the Govt be the example of its own people by throwing down their weapons as well if they wish us to do the same.

Who are you trying to impress or are you trying to get me kicked off

What you read is the word if God telling you to trust in God

Plead stop with your emotional rants

Take a time out ad come back with the word of God

What I see the last few post of your ls not God's word but your opinion

You started out with God's word but now it's pure emotions

Good night

Lets try tomorrow if God will!

God tells us to obey the laws of the land

California Penal Code Section 837 states,
"A private person may arrest another:
(1) For a public offense committed or attempted in his presence.
(2) When the person arrested has committed a felony, although not in his presence.
(3) When a felony has been in fact committed, and he has reasonable cause for believing the person arrested to have committed it."

In other words, a person in California who is not a law official or police officer can make what is commonly called a "citizen's arrest" if he or she witnesses a crime. For example, an Occupying protester who witnesses someone breaking and entering, causing bodily harm or threatening a life of themselves or another can forcefully hold and detain an offender until police arrive. And thereby based upon incriminating information provided by the citizen's account since it was not the police who would be witnessing such a crime, police will arrest the offender.

Some may ask do we need a statute like this? Why do we need a "citizen's arrest"? Well, as the crime rate goes up, it becomes more and more important that good citizens come to the aid of one another in distress as well as aiding the Police since Police response time is approximately 2 minutes given there is an officer within the immediate area. Without such a statute, only government agents, such as police, would have the authority to stop a felon in progress.
What needs to be understood is that if waiting for police to arrive there is no prevention of a felony.
And waiting for police to arrive in the event of a felony may be hazardous to the lives of others who incorrectly think it is only the police departments job to uphold the law.
No, it is also deemed by law for citizenz to uphold the law in such cases.
So yes in some cases it is lawful for a CITIZEN to not take law into their own hands, but to uphold the laws which are established.

So ya see iog, The laws of the land which you so biblically are advocating yet putting down at the same time therefore making yourself a hypocrite are the same laws which empowered normal everyday citizens with the same authority by law as a police official to arrest and detain a felonious perpetrator. This is much more effective when the arresting citizen has the playing field more than equalized and in their favor over any perpetrator breaking the law.

Perhaps you should educate yourself with the laws of the land in which you live yourself before convicting someone incorrectly based upon your own personal understanding of law and scripture.
Have a good night sleep tight :)

The Bible is full of wonderful deliverance...

Exodus 14

And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. 11And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? 12Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

13And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

15And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: 16But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. 17And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. 18And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

19And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: 20And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

21And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 23And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. 24And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, 25And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

26And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. 27And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. 28And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. 29But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

30Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. 31And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
Daniel 6

22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
Matthew 26

51And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. 52Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. 53Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? 54But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?
Acts 16

25And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. 27And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 29Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

Genesis 50

19And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? 20But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. 21Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.
Matthew 8

23And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. 24And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. 25And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. 26And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
