"Well Chuck, that's just not so"

Let me give you an example. If this was your thread and you posted the above post I would examine you references.
The first Being Matt 10
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

It says He can. It doesn't say He will. But aside from that the word "hell" in that verse is used to define the grave, not the lake of fire.
Look it up.

I could go on with all your references but this is my thread. First acknowledge my verses so we can can see if there is a contradiction. Its not polite to ignore what I said then just rant off what you think should be looked at.
In fact, it is very rude.

Why share the Gospel with anyone if no one needs to believe to be saved? Why is faith clearly so important according to Scripture?

Honest questions.
Why ignore the scriptures I posted and change the subject?

Do you find it surprising you have to say that in order not to be accused?
What often upholds the Universalism platform is Paul's letter to Timothy that says, This is a trustworthy saying, worthy of full acceptance. 10To this end we labor and strive, because we have set our hope on the living God,who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe. 11Command and teach these things.
That passage in 1 Timothy 4 can be defended as Paul himself teaching Universalism.
If you choose to use a word that didn't exist until modern times that always labels a person as being a part of a certain sect, that's on you. I believe in God. I something in common with Catholics. That doesn't make me a Catholic. The thread is about the verses I posted. Do you care to discuss any of them?

It’s not a change of subject. Those are very relevant questions. If one agrees with what you posted, the view that everyone is automatically saved whether they believe the Gospel or not, then that begs the question, why preach the Gospel?

Acknowledge and ignore then attack the persons theology rather than examine the evidence presented. A common tactic used by evolutionists. Not something you would expect to see from a loving reasonable Christian.

Perhaps you should start out with a slightly shorter OP and one that doesn’t just contain particular verses, but the proper context.

The Scriptures are clear, whosoever believes shall not perish, but those who do not believe are “condemned already.”

Then you would have a contradiction. But first one has to except the simplicity of the stated verses I posted which can not by anyone who speaks English, and any English scholar would agree as to what is simply being stated.
However all the verses that appear to contradict can have other meanings or be easily seen in more way than one. I think there is only one that stumped me. But there is nothing there that caontradicts itself when you take Jesus's words to heart. You most definitely will not find anything mouthed by the Lord. And if something anyone else brings what the Lord simply said into question, I choose to Follow Jesus and not man. But there is nothing. Fire away. I will show you.
I will take a pass on defending my view and perception in this matter. Last time I tried to explain myself a few months ago I took a lot of heat and decided it wasn't really worth the hassle.

I have not “attacked” your theology. I asked you two honest questions....which you ignored/evaded.

I fully concur with your estimation.

I have no idea how you define any of the verses I posted. How can we have a conversation when you ignore what I said and change the subject. But I will answer you anyway to show you how it is done.
I would love and respect a loving dad that would never throw me into a eternal punishment when he could fix me. I would hate a dad that threw his child into a fire. There is no justification for such an act to a child.

What does the answers to those questions have to do with subject? Nothing. You are disrupting what should be a interesting topic. Is it possible you know what they say and want to keep people from seeing it?

Those questions are entirely relevant. If we are all saved regardless of faith, regardless of whether we hear and believe the Gospel, why bother sharing it?

And, why bother dying for it, as so many throughout history have.

That doesn’t answer my questions at all. God will not be throwing any of His children into Hell and I never said He would.

We are not automatically His children, however, as you would suggest. We become His children through Faith. Then we are born again and receive the “Spirit of adoption.”

So, again, why is sharing the Gospel important if no one actually needs to hear or believe it to be saved?

Why is faith so important according to Scripture if we are saved regardless of whether we have faith or not?

Neither does spiritual discernment. But universalism does exist in our dictionaries, and you are a universalist.
Perhaps a more concise way of putting it would be to say that it does not exist in his vernacular.

I guess that means all the scriptures I posted shouldn't be discussed?
Lol. Don't be scared. Jesus is going to save even the haters. Lol
Including JW's, Catholics, Universalists and even Muslims.
You are not part of an elite sect of special people that earned anything. Lol
All peoples are saved. It is simply stated over and over. Didn't you read the verses?

That defense is based on that particular translation of μάλιστα (i.e., especially). Particularly would be a better translation IMO, that restricts salvation to those who believe, which is consistent with the rest of scripture.
