The statement requires that God MUST preserve His Word in a certain way. You should probably look up the fallacy so you understand it.
Do you think God preserved his word perfectly in at least one set of manuscripts?

I already provided dozens of verses proving their authority, go back and read.

Not all of their churches, some are more strict than others. Some are actually liberal because people vote with their wallets and the church listens. If more people joined and protested against heresies there wouldn't be any.
You simply show you do not accept the authority of the pope while insisting we do. Laughable!

Your so-called proofs are just your opinions of what Scripture says.

That's the one I refuted with 1 Corinthians 4:15 and you never addressed my refutation.
If you could address the point? The point being, I used Scripture and you claimed I had not.

Besides, your opinions on what Scripture says are clearly wrong.

As I've said many times, we must accept all authority unless they command something against God, then and only then we must disobey, otherwise we must obey.

Well, your authority is bogus. I am not submitting to you, or the RCC. They are bogus also.

Saying we must submit to all authority is so far wrong it is out of this world wrong.

1 Peter 2:13 - Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. 15For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. 17Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

18Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. 19For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

Your problem is not with me, it's with the word of God. But I'll leave you to your rebellion.

"Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned" (Titus 3:10)

Yeah, THE king is not every king. You need to check yourself and adjust your erroneous opinion so it aligns with the Word of God.

You have made the RCC your king. Well, I feel sorry for you. But insisting others
submit to them just because you seem to think you have is wrong.

Really...?

So where is this "creed" documented? I'm sure since you are so certain, you have several sources at hand.
Again. My apologies. The article I got it from gave me faulty information. After looking for a source, I discovered this was said by Peter Ruckman and he was referring to those today who favor the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus. I do not agree with Ruckman’s name calling and the immoral beliefs and actions he held. While I do not agree with Modern Textual Criticism, Ruckman saying Original Onlyist type believers are a cult is not nice, nor is it true.

So thank you for that. I do like to check sources to verify what I say. But sometimes I do drop the ball in that department. I am not perfect, but I am willing to admit when I wrong.

You said:
And why are you YELLING?
I wasn’t yelling. I was merely quoting the article and I am sure they did so for added emphasis.

I provided DOZENS of Bible verses as proof, while you haven't provided a single one!
This is the first place I can find in our recent convos where I see you telling this LIE.

That is from page 67. The words of Jesus I gave were on page 62. Your lies have been uncovered once again.

Well, you posted that verse after I called you out.
See? You lied. Page 62 is five pages before page 67. That's about a hundred posts earlier. Maybe more.

They believe only the Originals were inspired and perfect and that all copies have been imperfectly preserved.
To the first part, yes, absolutely. Only the originals were inspired.

But who gets decide what is an error or not an error?
You simply have a wrong concept of textual criticism. The purpose is, by examining all manuscript evidence, to determine what is the original text. It's not about deciding what is an error.

You completely missed the point. My argument doesn't contradict itself any more than Mathew 23:3 contradicts itself.
You completely missed my point. I didn't say you contradicted yourself. Read more carefully.

All authority is sanctioned by God whether you like it or not. I provided biblical proof for RCC authority, while you provided nothing except "I'm right and you're wrong".
You provided the evidence that has convinced you. It doesn't convince me. Like I said, this is a dead horse issue.

And that's just your opinion for which you have provided NO biblical proof.
Proof only exists in mathematics. In every other field, the best you can hope for is evidence. One person's "proof" is only what that person found convincing, not what should necessarily convince anyone else. The nature of proof is not a matter that the Bible addresses, so expecting biblical proof for it is silly.

That's basically what I said, but ok. Either way, that definition has nothing to do with asking a question over and over again like the other user claimed.
You might have thought it but certainly didn't say it... not even "basically".

Hey bro....
Abandoning the teachings of God
Abandoning the teachings of Allah
It's the same thing.

Whether it's Jews, Christians, or Islam, if they misunderstand the words of scripture from God, they are all the same. They are all beasts, and in biblical terms, they are wolves in sheep's clothing.

In the Bible.
Can't buy or sell, means people who can't buy the truth of God and who can't sell the truth of God
In other words, People cannot understand God's truth correctly, and God's truth cannot be properly taught.
Or,You can understand it this way,Jesus wants to sell the Bible to someone, but someone buy from Satan and thinking that is the real Bible.(I didn't refer to the Quran or Muslims here)

I hope you could understand it.
Since the God of the Bible and Allah of the Quran are not the same being, abandoning their teachings is not the same thing. The Bible is the written word from the Creator of the entire universe in which we live. The Quran, at best, is the writings of a mystic influenced by a variety of religious traditions that were transferred orally for many decades before being edited by one person over a hundred years later.

If someone gets barred from being catholic it's not their fault, but if they rebel against authority, then it is.
And those who were never under the authority of the RCC need not worry, because it is impossible to "rebel" against an authority that you aren't "under".
