I don't need validation by knowing what others believe. What others believe does not change the truth, truth is objective not subjective. I believe the Bible is true. Your favorite question is "what version?" The only change between versions would be anywhere from 6,000-10,000 years old. I believe the Bible to be the word of God and if it is wrong, then everything else in it can be scrutinized as being wrong. It becomes a slippery slope.
What I don't understand is why YECs try so hard to prove scientifically that the earth et al is around 6,000 years old.
YECs can not make an intelligent argument scientifically for a 6,000-year-old earth, a global flood, or that dinosaurs coexisted with humans.
YECs just make themselves look foolish when they attempt to do so.
You may believe the Bible is true, but you can not point to what Bible, specifically, is without error.
Can you?
Or any of you other YECs?
We are discussing the Bible right now, not science.
Show me a Bible that when we use the genealogies indicates the earth is billions of years old. Do they all indicate somewhere between 6,000-10,000 years old? What is your view of 2 Peter 3:6? Doesn't it indicate global flood? Jesus even mentions that the flood wiped everyone away......
What Bible do you believe, or do you discredit every Bible?
I have no clue where you are going with this. I studied aerospace for at least 4 years. Wernher von Braun had a major part in the science behind the moon landings. You may want to take a look at his view of evolution.
Your reluctance to replying to a 'yes' or 'no' question is painfully obvious, as you know that if you reply 'no' then this places you in the 'flat-earth' category of ignorance....and if you reply 'yes', then you MUST agree with the Billions-of-year-old-Universe science which allowed man to walk on the moon in the first place.
Your only alternative is to agree that man walked on the moon - but then to deny the very science that put him there in the first place.
This is commonly called willful ignorance...
Strawman
I answered the question......I explained that I believed man walked on the moon, but I refuted the belief that that evolution science is what caused man to walk on the moon....
If you read what I wrote.
"Wernher von Braun had a major part in the science behind the moon landings." This indicates that I believe the moon landing. Then I indicate that he said it was because they didn't strictly believe just one thing. They didn't want to overlook anything, which is why he believes that just one view should not be taught.
Today science tries to say evolution is the only logical theory for the universe, yet you all have admitted macro-evolution makes no sense and you don't understand it.
Get your facts straight.
I don't deny the science that got them there, I reject the science behind the old earth....which are two different things. If not, explain what the age of the earth has to do with a rocket....
