Lol, that just means my mind is open to the truth. Are you saying that when the truth is shown to us, we can't accept it?

Add this question to the list: How did DNA originate?
Then you admit you were wrong when you said that Jesus and the apostles never quoted from the Septuagint (LXX)?

And you admit that the YEC propaganda websites you cited like Chick Publications were wrong when they said that Jesus and the apostles never quoted from the Septuagint (LXX).

If you want to know how DNA originated, go to Wikipedia or a science book.

If you want to discuss the issue with me, then make your point about it. Put it in the format of "DNA proves that dinosaurs coexisted with humans" or whatever your point is, and support it.

Same with those other questions you keep harping about.

So you haven't heard of the pyramid found that dates back to the time of the dinosaurs? It was reported in a big newspaper in another Country. They say it was built by humans.....do you think the dinosaurs built it?
If your mind is open to the truth like you said in your last post, then what is the truth about this?

I asked you twice for specifics.

Please use the word "hoax" in your reply.

Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind) doesn't believe half of what he says, and the other half is BS.

Incidentally, on this thread Angela53510 indicated that you support Theistic Evolution and have Muslim leanings.

I indicated I suspected you tended more toward Old Earth Creationism.

Your name came up when she objected to my agreeing with your posts on another thread. Your comments were about the "first man Adam" post she keeps copying and pasting on various threads.

Just curious, how would you describe your theology?

I seem to have been misrepresented, yet again, because my stance is different than some…you can understand…

I don’t believe in evolution other than at the micro-level. Modern humans did not evolve from any other creature – we were created brand new, even though we share the same building blocks as other creatures. This follows what we would predict from science and scripture. Fully formed life burst onto the scene…not as some partially formed ‘evolving’ creature or plant.

Angela and I agree on The Triune Creator – but then we part our ways when she (and others) prefer to reject scripture and the sciences in favor of a young earth. If it looks old, then it IS old. This is as simple of a start as it gets.

As I already defended in a prior thread, it would be deception for God to create with apparent age, and I demonstrated this in the Hebrew with Adam & Eve being raised as children, not as adults.

As far as being a Muslim sympathizer…this is yet another area where people outside the circle of knowledge start their mudslinging accusations. No, I do not defend Muslims, I think that they are entirely incorrect in their theology. I have studied the Koran in Arabic for the better part of the past 20 years and have arrived at the startling conclusion that it is merely repackaged Biblical material intended for an Arabic audience. As such, and albeit not divinely inspired, the Koran cannot be dismissed out of hand as a tool with which to correct and clarify Muslims.

The Koran is still about Jesus as God. The Koran is actually a plea for help to escape the pagan god, ‘allah’…of which, is dressed-up to look like the true Biblical God, Jesus Christ.

My research shows that >75% of the Koran is Book of Revelation material, all by itself.

But…scant few ‘Christians’ want to hear about that…they would rather label me a Muslim sympathizer than to learn the truth of the matter. It’s this type of ‘flat-earth’ ignorance that keeps the ignorant as they are…

wikipedia is not a good source for credible information. Apparently you need a science lesson.
you are talking about evolution. Evolution literally means change. The theory of evolution involves both micro and macro evolution. Micro is the change within a species and is not the crucial part to the theory of evolution. Macro evolution involves the changes between species and is very important in this theory. Now science only says that it happened and has yet to explain how or even have proof that it happens. There are no transitional fossils, and just because things look similar does not mean it is a product of evolution.
How does DNA get formed, if evolution is true?

dating of things on the earth is incorrect, therefore evolution is a hoax and so is the billions of years old theory.

Yes, of course I understand.

If you don't agree with a 6,000-year-old worldview you are branded a heretic and destined for the bottomless pit by some of these YECs.

I am not totally convinced about macroevolution myself, particularly with respect to humans. And I do believe Adam was a special creation. And I would say whatever macroevolution has occurred was caused by God or allowed to happen.

In any event, evolution does not prove or disprove a 6,000-year-old world.

Scientific measurements prove a world that is far older than 6,000 years old.

And I agree with posts I have read of yours establishing that scripture does not prove a 6,000-year-old world.

The saddest part about this YEC pseudoscience is that it makes Christians look foolish and turns many away from Jesus rather than to Him.

How do we reject Scripture? I only reject the bologna that is called science of evolution and old earth. Before you go making accusations against people, you better get your facts straight.
I reject the dating, because it has been wrong too many times. People in my family have had tests done on them that reveal their age. They are always wrong. The Bible does not argue for an old earth. So don't go saying that I reject Scripture in favor of a young earth. I reject the fake science, not the Bible.

A simple question for you:

Do you believe that man walked on the moon?

Yes...or...no?

You can not be taken seriously when you claim the latest and greatest "science" but use a courtroom for your pivotal cornerstone.
No wonder you don't like courtrooms.

Your YECs lose every time you get to a federal courtroom.

The beauty of the court arena is that YECs actually have to try to prove their nonsense. YEC expert witnesses have to testify under oath and be cross-examined.

We know how that turns out, 'eh?

In Kitzmiller v. Dover about your favorite Behe whose videos you keep posting:

"We therefore find that Professor Behe's claim for irreducible complexity has been refuted in peer-reviewed papers and has been rejected by the scientific community at large."

Please focus on the words REFUTED and REJECTED.

The judge's decision also states:

"ID proponents and Pandas specifically distort and misrepresent scientific knowledge in making their anti-evolution argument."

Please focus on the words DISTORT and MISREPRESENT.

This proves you have NEVER looked at the EVIDENCE for a young earth.

This SPIRIT is in the lerning institution. It is in fact a religion, and it is ANT- CHRIST....PERIOD.

There is NO scientific evidence of a young earth.

All you have is pseudoscience that can not be found in "real" museums, can not be found in reputable peer-reviewed scientific literature, can not be supported in court subject to testimony under oath and cross-examination, and can not be generally taught in public schools.

Instead of visiting Dr. Dino's (Kent Hovind) Dinosaur Adventure Land in Florida and riding a stuffed T.rex, I suggest you visit a place where you can actually learn something like the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

While there check out the Gottesman Hall of Planet Earth and read the writing on the rocks that says: "The continental crust contains the historical record of our planet. It's most ancient rocks are 4 billion years old . . ."

4 BILLION YEARS OLD!

Here's the link for the American Museum of Natural History's Gottesman Hall of Planet Earth :
David S. and Ruth L. Gottesman Hall of Planet Earth

What is this lerning institution you speak of?

Is that where Dr. Dino and Dr. Don Patton (whose video you posted, and who almost single-handedly lost the YEC case before the Texas Board of Education) got there unaccredited diploma mill correspondence school doctorates?

LOL.

Kodiak "Liked" your post and kodiak also "Liked" Angela's post.

It was kodiak who said that Jesus and the apostles NEVER quoted from the Septuagint.

And kodiak cited YEC websites that said that Jesus and the apostles NEVER quoted from the Septuagint.

I indicated that Jesus and the apostles quoted from BOTH the Septuagint and the Hebrew.

So you "Liked" Angela's post so much, I'm assuming you agree with her that Jesus and the apostles quoted from the Septuagint and therefore do not agree with kodiak and those YEC websites that Jesus and the apostles NEVER quoted from the Septuagint.

Is that correct?

How about you other YECs out there?

Do you agree with Angela or do you agree with the YEC websites and kodiak?

I will be replying directly to Angela.
Angela's post that I LIKEd is superb.

I received an A on a paper I wrote in college. The instructor of the course and I went through an entire semester disagreeing about a particular issue. My paper was one last attempt to show him why he was wrong and I was right. He still disagreed, but he gave me an A on the paper.

Angela's post? I didn't scrutinize it. Just read it and was impressed. Don't recall any issue that I disagreed with.

If I had, I still would have LIKEd it.

You apparently missed my point.

I could generally care less what posts somebody "Likes" or who got an "A" on a college paper.

What I do take issue with is when somebody is discussing an issue, takes a position, and then "Likes" a post that totally contradicts what that somebody said.

Like kodiak did.

Of course you ignored the question I asked you, which was:

"Do you agree with Angela or do you agree with the YEC websites and Kodiak?"

The issue being whether or not Jesus and the apostles quoted from the Septuagint.

Kodiak said it never happened.

Let me explain to you how this works.

The YECs take their expert witnesses and "science" to court. Their expert witnesses testify under oath and are cross-examined. Same for the other side. Then the judge makes a decision and the decision is published for everyone to review, and quote from, like I did.

Every major court decision at the federal level in recent years has gone against YECs.

And in the judge's opinion you usually find comments to the effect that YEC witnesses distort and misrepresent science.

OK,you seem to have the methodology down.

Go for it. Gather your "facts" stick to your guns, ignore our evidence and findings.

You don't have any evidence to ignore.

You went on about Dr. Behe and irreducible complexity.

I pointed out how he has been thoroughly refuted.

But let me ask you this:

Where do YECs get the date of around 6,000 years for the age of the earth?

I want to be clear on exactly where you get that from.
