Generalizing, also that is an unfair statement you made about science. We owe much gratitude to the ladies and gentlemen of the many sciences, many of these people work hard and diligently at at their professions and make known to us the many wonders of the natural world, how it works what its purpose is etc, in fact in many scientific fields of study and research scientists have benefited mankind in many different ways, think of the medical sciences, biomedical engineering and many more sciences, if it had not been through these people we would know less about anatomical and molecular structures as well as biochemical and living matter, what has been revealed through research and the many sciences is absolutely amazing, so kudos to those scientists. Of course from my personal perspective all recognition and credit of natures wonders and sophisticated supreme and highly complex structures goes to the Grand Designer Himself.

i was under the impression we were discussing the things Mr Hovind was teaching, such as saying humans and dinosaurs existed together. If then you disagree with what he taught, then show what he taught that you disagree with. But it seems to me you are calling him a fraud based solely on what a particular state charged him with and not on what he taught. Tell me, is every person who is charged with fraud is guilty of fraud 100% of the time? Are you one of those who believe there is no innocent person in prison? That there is not one person charged of fraud that did not commit fraud. What is your evidence that Mr Kovind indeed commit fraud, aside from a particular state arrested him for that, what support do you have, what evidence do you have to support that he did commit fraud. And if he did, what does that fraud have to do with what he taught?

Now there is a person who makes a whole lot more sense than Dr. Dino.

Dr. Mary made the discovery of the soft tissue some years back and the YECs starting screaming "Proof dinosaurs are thousands not millions of years old!"

Dr. Mary has concluded upon further research that is not the case.

Here is what she said in the past year:

there has actually been something of a gold rush of unfossilized soft tissue discoveries lately...there was even a paper in the journal of paleontology last year claiming discovery of unfossilized tissue in ediacaran marine worms!

the creation research society has also been finding unfossilized tissue in a triceratops horn at their van andel creation research center...they published their findings in the acta histochemica journal...

Nothing you said is evidence that dinosaur fossils are thousands of years old as opposed to millions of years old.

I posted yesterday (#856) what Dr. Mary Schweitzer said recently about her findings. It's still millions and not thousands.

Now, in this Acta Histochemica Journal research paper you refer to, it does not state the age of the fossil in question.

well I don't think that Genesis teaches a global flood. It teaches a flood which destroyed the whole of mankind then living. The ice age is one possibility, or the centuries leading up to the ice age. But it may have been before that. It was based on oral tradition carried on through the centuries which effected the traditions of many countries, and certified by the Holy Spirit and of course by Jesus Himself.

I am not aware that Jesus used the LXX. How can you demonstrate that?
