The Miracle of God’s Word

Hebrews 3:6
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Jesus Christ, being the House of God in which we will dwell forever and forever, is also the House Builder of the Church. We are His house IF we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. This is the opposite of what most in the Church are taught today, but here it is written, and what is written is the Word of God and will stand in spite of man’s attempt to put his twist on it to suit his desires.

If the Christian begins to put his confidence in something, and or someone other than the Lord Jesus Christ and His atoning work on the Cross, he will lose the rejoicing of the hope which is only found in Christ and His atoning work at Calvary. God will surely never leave us, nor forsake us, but must hold this confidence or we will surely remove ourselves from Him (Galatians 1:6), and fall from His Grace (Galatians 5:1-4). There are many who would play the judge and say those folks really never believed to begin with, but they do not understand the Bible, and only follow a doctrine of men. Rejoice again today as you trust in the Finished work of the Cross of Jesus Christ above all other blessings you have received of the Lord, for it is this object of Faith alone that allows the Holy Spirit to maintain our course to the end!

LET’S TALK ABOUT FAITH (November 30, 2020)

Remembering that our faithful Lord gave us the measure of faith we have received (Romans 12:3, Galatians 2:20, 2 Peter 1:1), as we trusted in what Jesus did by Grace through faith at Calvary for us, we will find that it is the only avenue for all that God has offered us TO BE ADDED TO our lives. If our faith is wrong, there will be no addition by the Holy Spirit. Wrong faith is faith in anything other than the Blood of the New Covenant (Luke 22:20).

2 Peter 1:5
And beside this, giving all diligence, ADD TO YOUR FAITH virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

Again, the only faith which God will add to is THE FAITH He gave us to begin with (Romans 12:3, Galatians5:20). That FAITH was obtained by every Believer exclusively through their hearts believing unto Righteousness (2 Peter 1:1), which was His Righteous work on the Cross for our Salvation.

Isaiah 32:17
And the WORK OF RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL BE PEACE; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

The work of Righteousness that made peace was the shedding of Christ’s blood
Colossians 1:20

And, having MADE PEACE BY THE BLOOD OF HIS CROSS, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Bread Crumbs “Believing for Miracles” December 1

Believing God for a miracle is something that a believer should find quite normal. As believers, we serve a God that is able to do the impossible. At times, in order to reinforce this truth, He will lead us into circumstances that demand a miracle. A miracle happens whenever God intervenes and does something for us that we cannot do for ourselves. God is determined that we should learn to trust Him and the only way that we can learn to truly rely upon Him is to be placed in a situation or circumstance that we have absolutely no control over. One that we cannot, in the natural, overcome. It is here, at the edge of impossibility, that God becomes real to us. It is here that He steps up just at the right moment to prove to us and reassure us that He is who He says He is and that He does what He says He can do. Waiting for a miracle is never easy. It is a trial of our faith. But if you will trust Him and wait on Him, you will come to know Him more intimately. You will also come to realize just how much He really cares about you. Get ready. Here comes your miracle!

2 Chronicles 20:20b - “ … and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Too many Christians being told that all the hard and rough things they’ve experienced for so long over and over again without end is because of their faith, but in all reality, it is for the most part because of a wrong object of faith.

The Miracle of God’s Word

Hebrews 3:7
Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if ye will hear his voice,

Are you hearing the Holy Spirit call you into the Grace of God today through faith in the Cross of Christ? Are you following His leading? Are you hearing the Holy Spirit today who is attempting to guide you into all Truth? Which part of the Truth of Christ is He teaching you today? Are we hearing and following the leading of the Spirit of Truth or have we been taught to follow our emotions and feelings, and call that following God? The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit as the Born again Children of God that we are the Children of God (Romans 8:16). God communicates to our newly created spirit in Christ, for it is only there that we communicate with each other.

When is the last time you heard or even listened for the voice of the Spirit of God? Do we know lots of Scriptures, but not the voice or leading of the Holy Spirit? Come back to exclusive faith in the Cross of Jesus Christ, and there He will legally (Romans 8:2) be allowed to guide you into more of His liberating and fulfilling Truth. Most of what the Lord says to us today is ignored or rejected until we “FEEL” like it might be right for us, or when we “FEEL” like it will benefit us. What the Lord has for us will always require Faith so that He by Grace can bring it to pass (Romans 4:16)! Keep looking to Jesus!

Ever wondered why everything between God and man requires faith, and that faith alone pleases God?

Romans 4:16
Therefore IT IS OF FAITH, THAT IT MIGHT BE BY GRACE; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

If we begin to see, accept and understand that GOD’S GRACE IS WHAT GOD DOES, and that He is not pleased with anything that He is not a part of, then our understanding of the Scriptures will become so much more clear!

Jesus tells us that we can do NOTHING without Him (John 15:5), the One who is full of Grace and Truth (John 1:14), and tasted death by Grace for us all (Hebrews 2:9), so that His Grace could flow into our hearts daily!

LET’S TALK ABOUT FAITH (December 1, 2020)

Again today, notice that the only FAITH we are called to contend for is THE FAITH that was delivered to us as Believers (Romans 12:3, Galatians 5:20, 2 Peter 1:1).

That FAITH was given to us because we trusted in Jesus Christ and His Righteous work on the Cross for the forgiveness of our sins!

The mission above all, is to contend for the FAITH, which is to struggle and fight to KEEP it. It is amazing that sin never slips away, but THE FAITH surely will (Hebrews 2:1).

Hebrews 2:1
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should LET THEM SLIP.

Jude 1:3
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should EARNESTLY CONTEND FOR THE FAITH which was once delivered unto the saints.

"Beware lest any man spoil you (overthrow your faith) through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ" Col.2:8.

The Devil is constantly at work polishing up a lie and dirtying up The Truth! Don't forget, the deceivers and those who pervert the Gospel are almost always good people (most often they are preachers) who use "good words and fair speeches" to deceive the people and undermine the Message of the Cross and those who are determined to preach it as Paul did all the time and for everything.

The Cross of Christ is the Wisdom and Power of God that crushed the Devils head and provides us with Complete Victory Everyday when we anchor our Faith there!! Glory!! No place should be given to a Hollywood gospel, the traditions of men, humanistic psychology, and the ways of the world by those who proclaim to embrace and declare The Truth!! There's no such thing as Christian Psychology even though the term is widely used in the church.

Take heed who you hear! The Cross is the Answer - Rom.8:32!! The Cross is the dividing line that separates True Christianity from the Apostate Church. Are you making that line clear for the people to see or making it blurry and helping them perish? 1Cor.1:18

Bread Crumbs “Fullness of Joy” December 2

The daily benefit of being a Christian is best encased in the word “joy.” There is no expression that better illustrates or describes the true Biblical experience of Christianity more than this word. When God lifts the burden and sense of guilt that has darkened the heart and mind, it is as if a million-pound weight has just been lifted from the spirit. This freedom from sin coupled with the knowledge that a person is right with God produces a sense of euphoria that no drug can match. One that no alcohol can compete with and one that no carnal desire can best. From that moment forward one knows that they are in relationship with a living God. They can look God straight in the eye without lowering their head in shame. Day after day they awake with the assuredness, that the One who saved them is with them, is in them, and watches over them. We never have to face one of life’s problems alone or dependent upon our own strength or ability. And we live with the knowledge that when this life is over, we will be ushered directly into His presence. He brings the presence of joy from the beginning, all the way to the end!

John 15:11 - These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

The Miracle of God’s Word

Hebrews 3:8
Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

The hardening of the heart is a refusal to learn AND FOLLOW God’s Ways (v. 9-10). Are you involved in a local Church, but not learning the Way of the Lord? The hardened heart against the Way of the Lord is the heart that may verbally agree with everything, but refuses to be moved and changed by the Spirit of The Lord in the heart. Faith in Jesus Christ and His atoning work TODAY, not just in days gone past, will allow the Lord legally (Romans 8:2) to bring us along in His Way. I do not get to choose what I will do, but rather who and what I will trust in, then the doing takes place as a result of that object.

If we continue in God’s Word, we become the Disciples of Jesus Christ (John 8:31-32), as we deny ourselves take up our Cross (Faith in His work at Calvary) daily, and follow Him (Luke 9:23, 14:27). The hardening of the heart in the last days Church for the most part is the denial of God through THEIR works (Titus 1:16), as they resist against the message of the Cross, which is His work. Without faith in the Cross daily for the Child of God, they also will perish. Do not harden YOUR heart toward God, but rather believe Him through trusting in what He did in His Son, Jesus Christ for you at the Cross!

LET’S TALK ABOUT FAITH (December 2, 2020)

To overcome the world, one must believe with the heart unto the Righteous One who overcame the world for us, and that took place at the Cross. Always remember that the cross, though it looked like the defeat of a weak man, was actually the victory of the strongest man which ever lived, and His name is Jesus!

One’s believing with the heart unto Righteousness (Romans 10:10) is what allows the Lord to give the measure of FAITH to the Believer INITIALLY (Romans 12:3), and is also what allows Him to work DAILY in their lives in the very EXPERIENCE of overcoming the world, for it is our FAITH in Christ’s overcoming the world for us that we experience that victory today!

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our FAITH.

God is Love and at the Cross God was simply being who He is to man through His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ!

1 John 4:9-10
9 IN THIS was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 HEREIN is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Bread Crumbs “A Monumental Victory” December 3

In the course of my Christian experience I have come to realize a significant truth. The length and the weight of personal trials seems to grow as time goes by. As I see it, this occurs for several reasons. The first is that God has allowed an issue to approach my life that He has deemed beneficial and necessary to my Christian growth. Second, I need to grow more confident of His faithfulness. I must realize that nothing takes place around me that my Father has not orchestrated or allowed. The trials that He has already brought me through have proven the faithful character of my Father, As well, they reveal the inconsistency that lies within my heart. Third, the past trials and victories have equipped me to bear a heavier load than when I was younger in the Lord. The Holy Spirit desires to produce a deeper cleansing and effectual renewing within me. The heat of the fire and the length that the flame is endured forces the dross in my soul to the surface. Here it is exposed and removed by the Holy Spirit. Are you experiencing an elongated trial? Are you facing the unquenchable flame? Does your issue seem never-ending? Be encouraged! The more troublesome the test, the more valuable the victory!

1 Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

II Samuel 15:2, "Absalom rose up early and stood beside the way” and called out to those who were going up to see the King saying “If I were made judge in the land and if every man would come unto me I would do him justice, and Absalom stole the hearts of the people.” The narrow path is lined with many distractors and deceivers who stand “beside the way” and with good words and fair speeches they seemingly offer to rule in the favor of man, but they turn the ears of the people away from The Truth to believe a lie (2Tim4:3-4). In the eyes of the people Absalom was simply the Kings Son who put forth his hand to comfort them, embrace them, and love them, but he was also in rebellion to the King. Absalom easily deceived the people by a profession of devotion to them, his embrace became a snare and he deceived the people by flattery. Don't be deceived, the Cross is the one and only way to the Throne, stay the Course and see the King!!

The Miracle of God’s Word

Hebrews 3:9
When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

How many years have we called ourselves Christians, and basically all we have to show for it is where we go to Church, if we have even been faithful with that command? I ask these questions because of the state of the Church today. We are told in the New Covenant Scriptures to read the Old Covenant Scriptures, for there we can learn, find hope and be comforted through what was written there as ensamples for us (Romans 15:4, 1 Corinthians 10:11). God is here telling you and I that Israel’s Father’s tempted Him, proved Him and saw His works forty years in the wilderness, yet kept Him grieved because they would not accept Him and His Ways in THEIR HEARTS (v. 10).

Jesus Christ came to die for all sinners so He could give us a new heart (Ezekiel chapters 36-37), a heart that can now believe and be changed to serve Him (Luke 1:74-75). Before being Born Again, one can in no way serve God and bring forth good fruit, but once one is Born Again, they can, but it remains a choice to subject ourselves daily to who we will serve (Romans 6:16). There are only two avenues of service. One is to trust in anything other than Calvary for Grace and be found serving the Sin Nature unto death, OR to be found not having our own Righteousness, which comes through the LAW of what I do, but that which is through the FAITH of Christ, the Righteousness which is of God by FAITH (Philippians 3:9). Where will we be FOUND today by God?
