Bread Crumbs “My God is Limitless” December 11

Far too often I find myself committing the mistake of limiting God. It is very difficult at times to understand that God is truly limitless, and unlike man, He is not a finite being. He has no beginning and He has no end. There is nothing “too hard" for Him. To be honest, there is not even anything that is difficult for Him. He truly is the God that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think. The mistake I find myself continually making is that I keep thinking as though God has limits, so I am prone to look at life’s prospects based upon my limitations. What a colossal mistake! Lord, forgive me for limiting you today! Teach me how to believe for the improbable and the impossible provision that you are willing to dispense on my behalf! Let me not operate in presumption but let me be guided by your Spirit to a higher plane of faith. Help me to see the endless possibilities that exist in Christ. Those possibilities that can resolve my present dilemma or concern. And thank you for the finished work of Christ on Calvary, which by faith, opens the door to the limitless God that I call Father!

Jeremiah 32:27 - Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

The Miracle of God’s Word

Hebrews 3:17
But with whom was he grieved forty years? Was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

So many today in the Church believe that God cannot be grieved with them because He loves them so much. We also have been taught that just because we can sense His presence, that whatever we are believing and doing must be correct. Both are very unscriptural. Never forget that the more God gives and does for His people, the more He requires from them (Luke 12:48). We are told in the New Testament Scriptures not to grieve the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30), therefore we know we can.

The plan of God was to create men in His own image, and that they would choose to worship and serve Him forever. It will absolutely come to pass, but God also created men as free moral agents that have the ability to choose to worship and to serve Him, and with that choice we chose to rebel against God’s Promise and His Warning in the Garden of Eden. God already had the answer, for in His strategic and perfect plan, He had already given His Son, The slain Lamb of God before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8). The very breath of Heaven came to this world to give His Life for sinners like you and me. There isn’t a greater gift in all of Heaven or earth, and because the Gift is so great, the requirement and responsibility is just that great, which is to believe upon Christ, and to serve Him all the days of our life. The only place one can be FOUND serving God is through faith TODAY in the Cross of Jesus Christ!

LET’S TALK ABOUT FAITH (December 11, 2020)

No one runs the victorious Christian race without looking unto Jesus by FAITH

No one looks unto Jesus without looking unto His Sacrifice by FAITH

Hebrews 12:1-2
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

This is one of two Scriptures in the New Testament that reveal to us what it means for us to see Jesus, and unless we are, we are not running the race He set before us

They both speak of looking unto and trusting in what He did on the Cross, for everything else is nothing more than trusting in SELF

Here’s the other Scripture that reveals to us what we better be seeing while looking at our Savior, for if we by faith do not have in view His Sacrifice, we are NOT following Him

Hebrews 2:9
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

THROUGH A PHASE OR FOR GOOD WITH INCREASE?

If we only go through a phase of a focus on the Cross of Christ, we have missed the full purpose of the Cross through which God will bring His increase to our lives

Many got excited about the message, but have gone back to the old way as dead business as usual

Many have realized the degree of separation the message actually causes and have chosen rather to go back to the crowds

Many have realized with this message there aren’t near as many opportunities as those in which religion offers

Many have chosen rather to be peace keepers rather than the peace makers which the message of the Cross provides

Many have realized that this message of the Cross is not the money maker THEY THINK they need

Many have realized this message is a narrow Way, but because others would not go with them, they have opted out themselves

Many began guarding their pulpits with this message, but have opted out of that position for the sake of friendships and other fleshly reasonings!

We March On!!

Bread Crumbs “You Are God’s Choice” December 12

The greatest example of long-suffering in a relationship is seen in God’s dealings with Israel. God raised up Israel from one man (Abraham) and created a nation that was to be a witness to God's truth and of His redemption plan. Though God thoroughly blessed them, there never seems to have been a full commitment by Israel to the person of God. But in all this, God did not throw them away. As a nation, they rejected their Messiah and nailed Him to an old rugged Cross. Yet through all this, God has not changed His mind about Israel's purpose or the position they hold. God created Israel to be the head of all nations and the head of all nations they will be. When the devil comes along and tells you that you have failed God too many times and that He will no longer have any use for you, remember that God is quick to forgive and desires to restore. His original plan for you might be delayed. He might take you on a different route than the one He initially planned. But if you refuse to quit, God’s calling and God's gifts will never be recalled. God has chosen you and He will not change His mind!

Romans 11:29 - For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

The Miracle of God’s Word

Hebrews 3:18
And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

To God, believing Him is to obey Him, and the two cannot be separated. This is why Paul writes in Romans 6:17, “But you have OBEYED from the heart that form of doctrine.” Peter also writes that it would be better to have never known the Way of Righteousness than to have known it and have turned away from the Holy COMMANDMENT (2 Peter 2:21). John also writes in 2 John 1:4 that The Father has commanded that we walk in Truth. From God’s point of view, because of all that He has given to us, there is no option but to obey Him or to forfeit all that He has provided for us.

Jesus came and gave His Life for all of humanity, because all of humanity is disobedient and separated from God in their sins. Being born again is becoming obedient to our faithful Lord by trusting in the obedience of Jesus Christ, for through His obedience unto death, we become dead to the Sin Nature and alive unto God (Romans 6:11). Out of all those who came out of Egypt, not all made it into the Promise Land, and I’m afraid the same thing is going to happen to the Church, as those of old were given us as ensamples, which means a die, a form of resemblance. We can look back and see the results of having a heart of unbelief, therefore let us continue to trust in that finished work of Jesus Christ with our hearts and remain confident until the end!

CHRISTMAS REALLY MEANS NOTHING IN THE EYES OF GOD UNLESS ITS CLIMAX IS THE CROSS OF CHRIST

Jesus became the perfect Prophet, Priest and King to all who will believe upon Him, and His virgin birth was prophetic of what He would provide at the Cross for all who would believe upon Him

Jesus as the Living Word of God (John 1:1-2, 14) was born without the reproduction process of the Virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit, which pointed to our Born Again experience that would also be without the reproduction process and by the Incorruptible Word of God

1 Peter 1:23
Being BORN AGAIN, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, BY THE WORD OF GOD, which liveth and abideth for ever.

All Christians have God’s presence

The real question is what is that presence of God doing for you?

The presence of God didn’t cause all of Israel to go into the Promise Land, but only those who believed God was actually providing for them what He promised

Do you know and believe what God has provided for you through the Cross of His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ?

Bread Crumbs “Acceptable to God” December 13

Jesus taught His disciples the reason why they could be confident in their relationship with God the Father. He told them that as a result of their simple faith in Him, God had received them as His own beloved children. This truth is something we often lose sight of but need to bring back into our field of vision. God has not chosen us, accepted us, adopted us, or forgiven us because of something we have done. Our status is not based upon some religious work which we have performed. Our acceptance into God's kingdom and thereby into God's family has been accomplished solely by simple faith in Jesus Christ. We must believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He gave Himself on Calvary to redeem us. It is this childlike faith that assures us of a constant relationship with God in heaven. Our relationship is not just established so that we might be looked upon as God’s servant or considered God’s co-worker or God’s loving laborer. This relationship that we have entered into has established us as a son or daughter of God. How marvelous to know and how wondrous it is to comprehend that I am acceptable to God simply because Jesus was and is acceptable to me.

John 16:27 - For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

The Miracle of God’s Word

Hebrews 3:19
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

The point has been made very clear for those who have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying. For though God brought out of Egypt all those who had placed blood on their doorposts as commanded, they did not all make it into the Promised Land. It is very obvious that the belief of yesterday has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not we will continue to believe TODAY. These things were written for our admonition as ENSAMPLES to us upon whom the end of the age has come (1 Corinthians 10:11). The Lord is preparing at any moment to come and get His Bride, and many will be shocked when they find themselves without oil in their lamps (Matthew 25).

The only thing worthy of us looking back to is that which Jesus did 2000 years ago, for there through faith in His Righteous work on the Cross, we were immersed into His death (Romans 6:3), as we were crucified with Him (Romans 6:6-7, Galatians 2:20), so that we could serve Him EVERYDAY in Holiness and Righteousness without fear (Luke 1:74-75). Fear is taking the very Faith away from those who have looked away from Calvary like never before in these last days. Remember, when the fear of the Lord is being perfected in Holiness (2 Corinthians 7:1), the fear of man is being destroyed, and this process is exclusively found among those who are trusting in the death of Christ, which means they are identifying AGAIN TODAY with what He did there to be identified with them.

They ignored old Noah's warnings but he just kept right on building the Ark and we just keep right on preaching the Cross! Jesus said it would be like that again and we surely see it all around us. (Luke 17:26-27) Most turn their ear away from hearing God's warnings. To preach against Sin and declare the need to repent of Sin has been turned into hate speech. The invitation to come to the Cross and be Saved is ignored because everyone is deceived into thinking they are already saved by whatever fallacy they have believed in. But the days of excuses and make-believe are about to come to an end! Don't be swept away with those of Noah's day! The Cross is the Gospel and man kinds Only Hope!! Today is the day of Salvation!! Come to the Cross and Live both now and forever!!

The messenger and message that comes from God will always apply Jesus and His finished work on the Cross to every message, from Genesis to Revelations, or it’s just another sermon with no Power to help the people! The preaching of the Cross is the Power of God (1Cor.1:18) to both the sinner and the saint. It's time to cut rope and be free from the traditions of men and come out of that powerless religion to embrace the Gospel in Truth that will Save from Sin, deliver from every bondage, and bring forth Fruit (Col.1:6). Refuse to take one step with those who are turning back to the path that leads to bondage!! Clinging to the Cross and going on with Jesus!!

"And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubles Israel? And Elijah answered, I have not troubled Isreal; but you, and your father’s house, in that you have forsaken the Commandments of the Lord, and you have followed Baalim.” 1Kings 18:17-18

The issue (the complaint of others toward the message and messenger of Righteousness) is never the real issue, but underneath it all you will find the issue which is always Satans attempt to make the Cross of Christ of none effect: To polish up error and dirty up The Truth! The real issue is always Sin and the only cure is Repentance and a return to Faith in the Cross!!

Bread Crumbs “Choose to Believe” December 14

Believing God is a choice that must be made consistently in the life of every believer. God does not ask us to produce miracles. He asks the Christian to believe that He is a God that is ready, able, and willing to perform miracles on behalf of His children. God does not withhold His blessings from those who are willing to believe, but He may withhold His blessing from those who refuse to depend exclusively upon Him. Starting with Adam and Eve, we find that God supplied everything that man needed. The work required of them was minimal and nothing was more important than walking with God in the cool of the day. He only asked that they depend totally upon Him, in particular, upon His knowledge of right and wrong. They need not have eaten from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. All they had to do was ask God whether something was wrong or right. Dependence does not come easy to the human race. Perhaps that is why faith in God is harder to maintain than faith in self. But if you desire God to work on your behalf you must learn to rely upon Him more than anything or anyone else. Without faith it is impossible to please God!

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
