Jesus, being the form of God, said to Jews "you have not seen His form." Why?

The focus is on the two. Whoever has not the father the eternal not seen and the Son the temporal seen. They have neither. The one time demonstration of the mutual work of two working as one is over.

Denying Christ the Holy Spirit of God not seen has never been forgivable . Denying Jesus the Son of man the apostle prophet the temporal who lived in a corruptible body just as ours was forgivable when he was here.

Deity is another word for spirit. The essence of life not seen . In that way all sons of God have the Spirit of Christ in them but the power is not of us just as it was not of Jesus 's flesh and blood . That same flesh and blood in which he said it prophets for nothing.

Its the unseen Spirit that works to quicken our new heart and spirit .His word Spirit (let there be) and behold new life. .
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. John 10 :29 -38

Jesus the apostle, prophet never did his own will, the will that he was tempted to do all through his life. .

Those same kind of faithless men who walked after the temporal corrupted. What the eyes see, when they did see a miracle (sign seekers). Jesus said to them who made him into a circus seal ( do a miracle and then we will beleive). without a sign as a wonderment you will not.

Then it was OK to make men into deities, gods in the likeness of men.

Our God is not a man .

We as sons of God are rather created in his likeness (no form) as new creatures, having a new spirit that will not die. We will receive our new incorruptible bodies, no one has yet. .

It becomes will we rightly divide or walk after what the eyes see?

Either the gospel .Words of Spirit life, giving words of power to his apostles, prophets ( Stand upright on thy feet.) or we blaspheme God and attribute the work to the corrupted hands of mankind.

And there they preached the gospel. And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, "Stand upright on thy feet". And he leaped and walked. And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods (deities) are come down to us in the likeness of men. And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.Acts14: 7-12
True, Jesus always relied on the Father's direction as to what He should do in all matters. Just like we never take any actions before deciding with our hearts and minds as to what to do. He was careful to show reverence to the Father, and to do HIs will, because He needed to be a good example to us - who choose to serve God. He was in flesh form, and didn't want us to trust and rely on our flesh, more than on God. We are to let God take full control of our lives, and to act as He directs. Not according to our understanding- but according to His. In Romans, this is expressed as "being led of the spirit."
Rom 8:14
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
KJV
And God's Spirit is what communicates to us, what the Father's will is for us.

Surely, someone already offered this answer but, just in case, '...Because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear nor understand. In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled: 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving, (Matt 13:13-14)

Also, Isaiah 53:2 states of Jesus, " He has no form or majesty that we should look upon [see] Him... ' In other words, no form to be 'impressed' by (unless you CAN and/or DO see, of course but)... such as typically man otherwise rather prefers to be. I'm confident this is an accurate assessment especially looking up the hebrew origin for 'impressed' is gadal that share a root with gadol, or great.

Yes, God hides the truth from those who refuse to seek him sincerely, so that they remain blind in their sins.

He and the father are different persons. They have the same nature and attributes but we can conclude that Jesus does not look like the father or the Holy Spirit.

John 5:37-40

37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
KJV
Yes, Jesus had a fleshly body, while God the Father has no such thing. Jesus was God in flesh. I think the "father" part of God refers to His source of power, and His decision-making part, and authorative part. In that chapter, I think Jesus was saying that these men hadn't even known the Father before, because they had only worshiped God insincerely. God doesn't reveal Himself to anyone who does not seek HIm sincerely.
Matt 11:27

27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

There is only one good book on this subject and that being the Bible.
Richard E. Rubenstein's book called When Jesus Became God gives the history on the subject. Richard is an historian and so what you get from him is just the facts. Richard does not even mention a verse. Just the facts of how the Catholics did it. And the Bible does not write about the Catholics. Richard does.

It is always suspicious when folks go outside the Word to find understanding of the Word..

Now, it is true, God will give understanding to individuals in anyway He sees fit, so I am not saying it is impossible, just suspicious.

The understanding of the Scriptures have been corrupted for thousands of years and so going outside the Bible is necessary to help us get back to the Scriptures because most of what many believe is not Christian but Catholic.

reference:
John 5:37: "And the Father who sent Me, He has borne witness of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.
Philippians 2:6: who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,
Colossians 1:15: And
He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation.
Jesus was telling that wicked bunch of Jews that they weren’t Godly people, they weren’t Gods children and they never were and that they had no clue who God even was..... obvious right, God himself was standing right there in front of them telling them this and they didn’t know it.

By experience I believe the Holy Spirit gave me all I need know for salvation. As for knowing more than others, I know I do not, but what I know has been given me for my way given by Jesus-Yeshua. It is the same for all who believe.

Is there anything we must know other than Yeshua crucified for our salvation, and the free gift that comes with it, the faith, the hope and the love?

Yahweh showed me in a dream the many ways He may give to all. They arrive to the same place........the Kingdom. Some have a highway, others have an expressway, and so on. My way was shown as a dark and winding mountain road full of ruts and a warning came with it.........there are no trees on this road..............Yeshua is driving, and there are other people in the back of a station wagon...and so it goes. You do not need to believe this, but, allow me and those who will to do so.

If you truly believe Jesus-Yeshua, I have nothing to inform you more.
