The burden of proof is on you!
Please show me from Genesis chapter's 1-3 where it says that Adam and his wife ate from the tree of Life.
It must be punishment for some past sin. Dealing with stubborn blind people is such a chore. You want scripture? Ok. Here is scripture.. Since you can't read. Genesis 2:9
And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:16-17(CJB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Adonai, God, gave the person this order: “You may freely eat from every tree in the garden [SUP]17 [/SUP]except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. You are not to eat from it, because on the day that you eat from it, it will become certain that you will die.”

What part of 'every tree' do you not understand?

You seem not to know it
Just answer the question Son. Your entire knowledge of the word is based on assumption.

I am not stubborn and I am not blind - please point out the verse that shows that they DID ACTUALLY EAT of the tree of Life.
An invitation is just that, an invitation - it cannot be used as proof of acceptance!

You are NOT SAYING anything coherent. Your posts are totally ambiguous and vague. Its no wonder your arguments are not accepted. You back up very little with Word either. So yes! All you are posting is vague assumptions. Go to school.

The tree of life was guarded to prevent Adam and Eve from eating from
it in their sinful state and living forever. That rather suggests that if they
had already eaten of it, they would have lived forever. Scriptures says that
only God is immortal. Why do people keep contradicting God's Word?

Now if we eat of the tree of life, we live forever after. It is promised :)

who is the scripture saying " I have called you gods" yet you will die like men? do you not understand the fall of man os what made Him mortal? and that beforehand he had every right to eat of the tree of Life and live forever?
Since all the known and observed nature of this physical world reflects its mortal nature, meaning all living things in this universe a beginning and in such, all living things have a finite life process which results in their dying. A fact that is also substantiated by scriptures such as Ecclesiastes 3:2 "A time to be born, and a time to die;"

There is a passage in the scriptures which says, "Does not nature itself teach you.."; so using the seen and know universe is just as valid as using the scriptures to determine the truth of God.
And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. Ps 50:6

So if already immortal then why should he have need to eat of the tree of life if he already was going to live forever?

Scriptures says that only God is immortal. Why do people keep contradicting God's Word?
Because some people adhere to the principles of God rather than doctrines of men.

In such, there is a difference between 'eternal' and 'immortal'.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Genesis 1:29

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 7:16-20

genesis 2:8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil."

v 16-17 "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

they were free to eat of any tree save, the knowledge of Good and evil that one was forbidden. which is why the serpent targeted that specific tree, to get them to do the One things God said not to do, or they would surely die.

Genesis 3And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

after this, the tree of life is forbidden and guarded by cherebims and adam and eve are expelled from the Garden.

And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:23Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

after this, man is now born in the image of fallen man part good, part evil, a double nature. as seen in cain and abel One kills the other one is good, one is evil.

Gensis 5:3 "And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

this is the entire purpose of the gospel, to redeem mankind from the fall and to give back the right to the tree of Life, and live forever.

really, Jesus is a manifestation of the tree of Life. He offers eternal Life, tells us that partaking of His flesh and blood is eternal Life, He calls Himself the bread from Heaven

John 6:51 "I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

revelation 2:7 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

notice the tree of life is still in the midst of the paradise of God. as it was in the beggining in the midst of the Garden.

Jesus is our redeemer <<< that means something Happened and we are being redeemed from it.

Jesus is our reconciliation, which means there was a relationship beforehand that had been broken and He is "reconciling" us to it.

adam brought death to mankind, Jesus came in order to give Back Life. Notice after adam every man born even today we all understand were born, we live and then we die. thats because adam brought mortality. Jesus came to give Back what the enemy took from mankind, eternal Life.

the terms like " reconciliation" redeemed" saved" ect those all are there to show us that we were something more, we had something more, and we Lost it because the enemy took it, Jesus gives it all back.

naw i wouldnt agree that sydy of nature would teach us anything equal to Gods Word, mortality came because man disobeyed God, all things come because God spoke it .

when God said " do not eat the fruit or you will surely die" then that guarantees that when they ate, deth would come to man. Satan Knew that Gods word is the Only true Law of nature. What God says...simply is and will be just as He has spoken it. so How do you kill a man when God says " IF you do this you will surely die?

satans focus becomes " if i can Get them to eat that particular fruit, they will die. so he deceives them tells them " surely you will not die, God Knows it will make you like him......satan brought death to mankind through changing thier mind with a lie and a deception, death did not exist until they did what God said would bring death to them. " the wages of sin is death"

the tree of life is what gives eternal Life. " eat of it, and live forever"And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:23Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

this is when death becomes a reality, Jesus then came to restore that to us, in a way He is the tree of Life, and Gives back the right to the tree of Life that is still in paradise in the midst of it

revelation 2:7 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

man was created in Gods image in the beginning, free to Live forever, born of God. Adam then brought death through taking satans word above Gods. God said clearly " you will surely die" satan directly says the opposite " you will NOT surely die" eve and adam Both knew and chose what God had already told them would bring death.

Jesus then comes to give Back what the enemy took from mankind. eternal Life.

1 john 3:8 "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

remember " the wages of sin is death" sin is where death came from, when we partake of it, its death.

James 1:15 "Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Jesus came to take our sins, and therefore take death from man. even the death of the world came through that fall in the Garden, had man never sinned, there would be no need for a new creation. that One event set in motion all the salvation plan of God, were "saved" from that very thing.

adam chose death for all mankind, and because He was Given dominion over the earth as well, he brought death to all creation everythong came through the curse adam chose for us. we learn from nature after the fall in the way you are saying, but we learn about eternal Life from Jesus Christ.

romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned

Death came to us through sin, "death by sin" until adam sinned death was non exiastant. we arent eternal in the sense of beforehand, from the time we were created though until adam sinned, man was immortal. Mortality came from adams transgression, and eternal Life comes through the gift of Jesus Christ to the World.

to me, it was always Gods Plan to exalt His Son Jesus, that man should die, Know the fear of God, which is the beginning of wisdom ( and what adam lacked) and then be redeemed to eternal Life through Faith in Jesus. for " Jesus was slain from the foundation of the World"

Fear came as soon as they ate from the fruit, and " Fear is the beginning of wisdom" Jesus comes, and then our Love is perfected through that fear, and then when Love is made perfect in us, it casts out the fear leaving wisdom and eternal Life for those who embrace the simplest wisdom and most wise " Gods Word will always be true, and to heed His word, and obey it, will always mean eternal Life"

john 12:50 "And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

what God tells us to do, is for us there to keep our lives, not against us as the serpent teaches. He wants man to soubt Gods word, so He can whisper other ideas like He did in eden, those who simply Hear Gods Word, believe it is true and Good, and do it, they are wise. Fear has lead to the wisdom of knowing the simplest truth. the word of Our creator will always be true and faithful to those who obey it and it will always have the same power to create as when He said " Let there be.....and it became. the source of creation is Gods Word. and therein is Faith made complete.

Gods Word is for us, for our good. Not there to destroy us but to save us from the deception of the enemy " Gods word isnt true, it is oppresive to you.

romans 7:9-11 "For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.10And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

this isnt paul explaining Hos own Life, but the nature of mankind and the event in the Garden when the commandment " thou shalt not, or you will surely die" was given. it was for mans Life. But sin deceived them and by that commandment brought death. all of the law that came after the flood is based on that commandment " thou shalt not or you will die"

it also is intended to keep mans life, but satanmakes them think to hear Gods word will kill us, our fallen nature perceives it as an oppression. ( Like at horeb " Dont let God speak anymore to us or we will die")

the Gospel is based on the pattern that Gods word is truly for us, to hear it and obey it is eternal life. Jesus " whoever Hears my word and keeps it, has passed from death to Life." the gospel recreates our mind bringing it to the wisdom that Gods word is for us, to keep us alive and safe from sin and death. when our minds are right we understand Gods ways are meant for mankind and its a pleasure to learn and follow.

1 john 5:3 "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Why would you assume that man was already going to live forever? It seems a completely unwarranted assumption. God gave life to Adam and Eve knowing they were going to sin, knowing creation was going to fall, knowing the state mankind would be in as a result, knowing that all would die UNLESS they were found in Jesus, Who was purposed from before the creation of the world to give His life as a ransom for many. Only God is immortal. To say humans are or ever were goes against what Scripture explicitly states.

you should probably read the scripture magenta. im hoping at some point you mey let the grudge you have against me go lol it truly affects me in no way at all, its more something you need to look at letting go of.

genesis 2:8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil."

v 16-17 "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

where does death come into play? God says " when you eat of it , then you will surely die" are you unaware that every tree, includes the tree of life described beforehand? they were made mortal through thier sin, had they obeyed Gods word, death would not exist. and the ruight to eat of the tree of Life would have remained. death is only a product of satans will not Gods.

" you must not....or you will surely die" <<< that is the commandment to keep thier life, thier acceptance of this is where death comaes from, it did not exist until satan deceived them, he took that commandment and created death because God said " if you do his, you will certainly die"

Genesis 3And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

where does death come to man? right at this very point thay followed satans word and this came the death God already said would come from it. satan used Gods word to Kill His beloved creation.

romans 7:9-11 "For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.10And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned

if death came through one man who would that Be? and why? adam, because He follwed satans deception and transgressed the one thing God warned Him about that would bring death. until adam sinned death was not a part of mankind. you should think about letting go of the grudge you have born against me for the past Year. again just so you are aware. it doesnt affect me in any way you are free to believe as you will. but clearly you have a grudge for whatever reason, might think about letting that one go, i dont think or worry about it in any shape or form. doesnt affect me

1 corinthians 4:3-5 "But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. 4For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.5Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Peace unto you magenta.
