For a hair cut it has to be someone real special. Only did that once because he was the one I changed into a girl for. Lol they didn't recognize me in church.
Much the the chagrin of my friends, I didn't change for guys even when I was young. If a guy was going to like me, he better like me for who I am. I didn't even clean my house before my date came... well, until my future-hubby told me the cat hair was too much for him.

one thing that had never made any sense to me is that anytime you see a lesbian couple, one will be pretty and feminine, the other will be manly looking. If they are going to be with a woman who looks and acts like a man, then why not be with a man? makes no sense
In my youth, I hung around the lesbian community in Charlottesville, VA. (I don't go around asking a potential friend for their history before becoming friends.) Not a huge town, but not a small town either. 20-25% of the community was butch. (I don't know if that's a slur today, but it wasn't back then.) 100% dated. The odds suggest you only notice such a couple if one is butch. Most the time you see a lesbian couple, you think you're seeing two friends together.

Hi ,

Interesting about the hair and more so for women wether we have long hair or short makes no difference to the person who stands before The Most High, if we have a relastionship , so I,ll take this a step further what if a woman has no hair what then am I then judged seems so according to some ,

well lets see then say I have cancer and no hair or I have to cut all of my hair off for medical reasons what then , I,ll take it a step further am I judged because I have no hair at all and I,m a woman , our hair or for that matter our womb or some other part of our body is not there because of what ever the reason does not become an issue unless some one cant accept each of us is different don't judge another till youv walked in their shoes ,

I have a few body organs missing and had major recorrective surgerys try walking in my shoe,s and see and feel what its like ,

Those who are different will still be accepted no matter what .

If at some time you meet myself you no doubt would say I'm very masculine and youd be right , not all of us women or female in this case are feminine , those from our country of Prussian stock were very masculine and had to do a lot of the work and live under harsh conditions over the years , and myself I worked in a male world in the building sector so you would not call me a feminine lass I was strong and had to be to do the work and I would have short hair and did ,

I had long hair and had major head aches so no hair no headaches so how would you answer this then what would you do , so why say the gay women are rebellious in spirt , what difference does it make to any thing as youll find out total nothing ,

Oh and by the way men were the ones with long hair try Samson and that other guy who went teaching ,who was it you know by the sea side in the boat and wasn't he born in some stink hole of a shack no room at the inn he had long hair ,,,,,

Join the Army and it,ll be short back and sides , wonder why ...sorry I was Navy ,

...noeleena...
Especially because I'm stuck in bibfronts, people think I'm masculine. Because I'd rather think things out logically than emotionally, people think I'm masculine. Because of the way I walk, (I walk to get there. I do not have a sashay at all), people think I'm masculine. Because I'm just big enough that it's hard to find women's clothes in my style and size, I often wear men's clothes. Because I'd rather work with guys than gals, people think I'm masculine. Because I can handle myself around guys, people think I'm masculine. I'm not masculine! I am a woman.

I'm simply no lady! :)

I mean after all, it's only the word of God, so it must not be very important.
Who's confused?
Yeah, I know it's a strange heading, but hear me out...

I have a few regular customers who are lesbians at the store where I work, and I got to thinking: Have you ever noticed that the really hardcore lesbians cut their hair very, very short? Have you ever wondered why?

1 Corinthians 11:15 says a woman's long hair is her glory. And I suspect that it is the rebellious spirit in those lesbians that subconsciously compels them to defy God by cutting their hair so short.

Does that sound plausible?
This whole thing was about a theory, and now you pretend it's about me not trusting the Bible. Yeah, right.

The reality is I called you on your double-standard so you're searching for a fight. You're too old to play the part of an offended boy. Don't blame it on God or me.

I always figured they were defying societies dominated by straight men, but you may be on to something here. Defying God takes on a whole new meaning. Next month starts softball season here in Jersey and every Tuesday evening I go watch the women's games where the overwhelming majority of players are lesbian. I'll keep this thread in mind and ask them.
Who else thinks posing this question to a bunch of lesbians holding softball bats might be a bad idea?

4% of the American population is homosexual. More females are homosexual than males. Honestly? All I can picture is the time someone asked a friend he hadn't seen for a few years "How far along are you?" She wasn't pregnant.

I suspect there is going to be a bit of blushing going on when he figures out most of the team isn't homosexual. lol

Lol my ex once left a coat at my place and wasn't pleased he got it back full with cat hair. The cat had slept on it. I thought it was rather funny.
How did we come to cat hair?
Oh well nuff said about lesbian hair, let's talk about cat hair.

Same looking sheds, different tools.
This is just too good of a quote...gave me a good laugh....but Utah go with some backup before you ask the softball team...b/c they could be dangerous with bats.....against 1 person lol....

Sorry if I repeat...just skimmed through the thread and I'm response to the Bible,verse....many people cut their hair as a sign of mourning. They had it shorn.

Paul writes its custom for women to have long hair but not a commandment from God.

The Bible is more concerned with inward adornment than outward show. God would have all His people clothed with good works, charity and love rather than costly jewels or long hair.

If straight men wear pink I always look at them like: did your wife pick that for you?
I wear lots of pink. In fact my wrist watch and shoe laces are pink : p I really like the color.

Like Depleted said, there have been times when it was "acceptable" for males to like that color. I heard that in the 80s, pink was considered a "cool" color with young boys.

Dunno when that changed, though. But I think its really annoying how we have to associate a color with a gender. I like the color pink, Im not gonna pretend to not like it cuz society currently associates it with the female gender for no real reason : p

Not hard core, its the Lesbians who want to take on the male role who tend to do that.
When they do that its says to me that they truly desire a male and are confused. I mean why take the substitute when you can have the real thing.

We own shares in sticky rollers. Little white dog sheds a lot in season. I tell people not to wear black when you visit our house.

Homosexual people dont always act out on sexual desire alone. They often justify it with thoughts like "I could never be happy with someone of the opposite gender, they way they think about things makes me unhappy", literally telling themselves that the entire group all thinks and acts the same : p But theres often a negative outlook on the other gender that helps push them along in their lifestyle.

IMO most women grow their long for men. If you don't want a man in your life, then why have long hair? It's a hassle. That's why virtually all older western women cut their hair short because it's much easier to take care of, and to large degree, they are completely over trying to please men with their looks.
Moat of my adult life I've had long hair. About 12 years ago had it cut short and styled nicely, still feminine looking. I haven't had it short like that again because I do prefer longer hair, and speaking for myself, it's not really a hassle to care for long hair.

It has nothing to do with pleasing men. I rather have a man love me for my heart than my hair, just sayin'

Pink. Ain't no real man ever gonna wear pink.
