I don't want to derail this thread, but I posted a new thread in the News Forum about a Miami principal being fired. This pertains to the serious dangers of liberalism.

Now back to homospirituals. :)
Dont even get me started on libers....the women ones have ruined it for the rest of us that are actually thankful for a man wanting to take care of his wife and family. They think they can do it without a man? Oh yeah, try it.

RANT OFF

I've always told you that it was cool that you did that.
If it were random members you were ripping into, that's one thing.....
We go for the...same.....5 members....who never......EVER quit.

You do it better than l can. That's why everyone just liked your post.
I just take the gloves off. No softening up the punches for me.

Mikey needs a new trainer. Methinks my style has slipped up.
BTW, don't let this go to your head, Sirk.....remember what happened to Tyson when he got big.

Starting snacking on people's ears.
i grew up on the Rez man...I had to fight dirty. Lol

I think it has been proposed that there was an original earth (Gen.1:1) that got fouled up because Lucifer was cast to earth. Personally I think Gen.1:1 is just stating the fact that God created heaven and earth and nothing more. Thanks
Though you don't actually see Satan confined to earth until the middle of the tribulation period. Remember, he came sliming around, to accuse Job, in God's presence. (See Revelation 12.)

So the question really is:

is homospirituality a learned trait or are people born homospirituals and there is nothing that can be done about it....cuz they just are? Is it nature or nurture? Can a homospiritual be reformed or would they just be living a lie by joining the body of Christ?
Just like an addiction, its partly genetics, partly parenting, partly environment and experience, partly just plain stubborn meanness.

And that's a clinical analysis.

This is a good reason not to place a stake in the moral high ground. Why would any wise person deliberately paint a giant...hey satan, I'm sin free....sign on their back? There are just so many angles and self deceit that go along with such a view of oneself as that.....and to top it off...the precedent has been set for satan to accuse us to God. Certain people on here confuse leaning on Jesus with leaning on their own self righteousness. I hope what I said makes sense. Lol

You make abundant sense. If a person is fortunate, they will have to be crushed and that self righteousbess killed, or, worse, they are none of God's. People on pedestals are begging to be knocked off them.

ive always been of the mind that if you can't explain something so everyone can understand your message...then you don't understand it yourself.
Just sayin'... sometimes it takes me 20 paragraphs to say what other people can say in two sentences. Some of us don't have concise down yet. (Well, in this case, it's taken me three sentences to counter your one sentence comment, and I'm feeling proud for making it so short.)

I like to think of written dictation as a recipe.

Some people are really good at "quick and easy" recipes, and I really admire them.

But often for myself, if I try to condense what I'm trying to say... I have to "leave out" some of the "crucial ingredients"... and the thought I'm trying to express loses a great deal of it's "flavor."

Got to say as a logical proposition it does not hold water.
I design computer systems. They become very difficult to handle if you mix things that should work at different layers of concept, together. It does not mean the ideas are wrong, it just means they have not been separated out well enough.

Let me look at God and the bible. It is a very long book. Just the law is pages and pages long.
The building of the temple, the conflicts with different tribes, these have subtle variations and problems.
Take creation, two different stories with two different intentions and emphasis.

People have written books about just this, and the different implications involved. There are simple things you can draw, but that is just the surface, so it is not true complexity or depth shows error, it just shows complexity.
There is simple truth and then there are the details to describe the simple truth.

For instance, the simple truth is "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself." That is the whole of all those laws, including tabernacle/temple, divvying up the land by tribes, how to conduct business, and right down to not building fences. BUT without knowing exactly what God had in mind when he said "love," we need the details.

So honestly, truth is simple. How to work it out is infinitely complex, (which I suspect you recognize as reality when you're developing the best choices of computer equipment when designing a system for a business. You know the truth of the components, it's just how to adapt them into a particular situation that frazzles the mind.)

That's why simple truth seems complicated. It's not shallow. It just seems shallow when we get to the nuts and bolts of how to live in it.

Also i dont want to be labeled homospiritual. I think there's a two verse max on posts.....lol

This is very true. It becomes something hard to weigh, though, when sharpening turns to a foolish merry-go-round of repetition that can have a negative impact on one's spiritual center, which you always quickly return to, but, for instance, find myself asking, "Was that really even worth it?" I remember first coming here, seeking a reality based Bible discussion, not incessant defensiveness. That's not even fellowship.

Go figure :( me too.

Let insert my weak rose self in here a sec and say......the gospel is simple, man makes it complex

Computers output what is input, not done correctly there's trouble.

If we are in line with God, the bible speaks in clarity.

Sorry ill go back to my female corner now
There's a female corner?

Nuts! Tell me that's in the plane I didn't know I needed to land?

(And what was that about others living in lala land? I've been living in Lala Land so long, my family has a name for the place I go -- Lynnie LaLaLand.

Um, I remember some big goofs both Bushes made. I also know the top ten pork-barrel spenders even out -- 5 conservatives and 5 liberals. And how many years of Republican Rule have we had since Roe V Wade became the Law of the Land? They could have changed it. You can't blame all evil on any given political party.
American politics (just as in most countries politics nowadays) is not a choice between right and left.

it is a choice between left and less left.

Not to say the right wing is the correct path, but we haven't had an actually right wing president since reagan.

btw if i was to define my political affiliation it would be the disenfranchised party.

I get that, but the thought I was referring to is that in (Gen.1:1) God created the earth and heavens, satan was cast down and the earth became chaotic according to (Gen.1:2) and had to be re-created (Gen.1:3-2:3).

Job doesn't come along until what time frame?

I see! Gotcha. Job's time frame? Nobody knows, nor the author, save God, of course, but nobody knowing the human instrument. There's only speculation, and that not very good speculation. There's a Jewish tradition Moses wrote Job. Some have speculated a literary quality of Solomon's time. Most believe a Patriarchal time frame, a couple thousand years B.C. But we can say it is in a time frame well outside the Garden.
