The pharisees were guilty for placing the traditions of the elders over the very Law of God.

Like several do in the BDF with their own versions of grace, faith, repentance, & so on.

You do not attend the "the assembling of yourselves together" do you? Not a member of a church, right, but still seek validation and justification, yes?

One can say they love Christ all they want, but when disdain, disrespect and repudiation is show for His bride, something is sorely amiss. But hey, at least man will celebrate with you. Christ? Not so much.

Actually, this member is actively seeking a bible believing church home. At that point he will not be forsaking the assembling together of others in the worship and praise of the Lord. Your assumption was incorrect.

Actually the Pharisees were....

a. Assuming outward adhernce to the law was justifying them before God <--Paul said outwardly you could not condemn him

b. Jesus attested to this by him speaking to making the outside of the cup clean and being white washed coffins filled with the bones of dead men

c. They held to the traditions of their fathers over the word of God and forgot the weightier matters of the truth

d. They pushed a law keeping dogma addressed in Galatians and Hebrews as well as Romans which had infiltrated the Lord's churches.

e. Paul even raked Peter over the coals for his hypocrisy when the Jews were around and it is also dealt with in Acts before James and this whole circumcision deal pushed by the leglists.....

Here we can't worship with strangers we can't see, or hear, or know.

We don't even know if the men are men & the women are women!

Not to mention all those who have a form of godliness & spread false doctrine like a cancer.

If anything, The BDF is a battleground.

I agree, but also think we make it more than it is....the one guy would not look to heaven, beat on his breast and asked for God to be merciful unto him as a sinner.....Jesus said he went away justified <--rendered innocent.....same with the thief on the cross....we deserve what we are getting, but this man has done nothing wrong..Lord remember me in your Kingdom....same result......at the end of the day we cannot complicate the simplicity that is found in Christ.....nor can we water it down as well.....!

Then when you get called out for you're little games, he gets an infractions for referring the things you do to a black widow spinning a web....yet, you can call him an ugly little spider and what not...

There are times I think some on here are professionals at what they're doing.

They will run right up to the line with insults & lock up the brakes while their opponent slides just over it.

Also, we have to watch out for when several members post a couple of insults apiece at us. It's very easy to get caught up in the moment & return the favor, only to be infractioned because you posted 8 times to all of them, while they only posted 2 per person.

It's a slick trick they play in here.

Those that set you off will post here & there so the mods won't notice them. Rarely will they go on a run with several posts together.

Also, I've been on here since 2009, & I have seen only one or two on that side banned, & then it was really bad.

One infraction is nothing..... just don't make a habit of it.

What I am asking Phart is what we have to keep believing specifically since he states we have to keep believing to be saved.

Perhaps the better question is what is the unbelief that causes one to loose their salvation?

Isn't it examine ourself to see if we are in faith? That's a whole lot different than keep believing. Emphasis is negative with the latter. We let Holy Spirit search our heart and He's always tender in His evaluation. Gives hope and instruction.

Religion is the club.
