What? Us actually having to do something in Christ?
I did not know I could have others working my body, and I could abdicate responsibility of outcomes.
The commandments, the encouragements, the faith, the believing, the singing of praises, the preaching,
the doing of good works, the having fellowship, the sharing, the encouraging, in fact everything, has one
common theme, us, we need to do it. The one thing we do not have to do is be the atoning sacrifice, but
we need to believe it and accept it, repent, walk, follow, love, be cleansed, be open etc.
Protestant faith criticised the use of priests as intermediaries between us and God, because we could
have a personal relationship with Him. It appears though some want to have all the benefits without
the effort, involvement or costs. Sounds like a spoilt brat generation, they demand their rights, without
any obligations or response..... trouble is this behaviour just gets one thrown out.
