John uses the word "we" 44 times in his first epistle. So what's your point? Did he have the wrong focus too?

Oh, and btw, everything i posted was SCRIPTURE.
To me it reeked of the pride of self-effort. It really did.

Then all the apostles who wrote epistles had pride of self effort. I was replying to a conversation with relevant scriptures. Most people are emphasizing one aspect of salvation and ignoring the blessings of obedience

And you are judging me. You don't know my heart.

DCon is a Warrior when it comes to the Word of God , no doubt about it , yet as a brother in Christ on a one to one , he is an honest , open gentleman who bares all the fruit of the Holy Spirit , you just do not know him...xox...
Maybe it would be nice if he bore that fruit online with people he disagrees with as well.

...and he still hasn't provided one post for documentation of all these things he's accusing me of.

By the way, I did not realize I had multiple personality disorder...I said we, not me.;)
They have this viewpoint that God does everything and we do nothing.
It is rather like we are possessed believers who are passive participants of Gods ownership.
Whoever is lord of the zombie armies I do not think this is the Lord of Lords or the people of God,
lol :)

And all come after salvation, provided by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Is this the gospel of God possession of believers and they are just puppets of
the Lord? I mean if we are possessed by our flesh that only does sin, and God
does His good work, His growth and His faith, are we just passive participants.
Barely need to be alive, may as well do a holy snooooze and we will be in heaven.

Trouble is this is not what I read in scripture. It is chosing to sow to the spirit,
resisting sin, putting up with hardship, persecution and punishment, and through
it all rejoicing in God and His love poured out into our hearts, praising Him for His
grace and favour to save wretches like us.

Maybe there is a disconnect between Gods word where it is all clear what to expect
and how we are friends and obedient followers of Jesus, and this rather unusual
zombie believers lifestyle, where it all just happens, except there is no where this
works, rather sinners stay sinners but spout christian sounding words :)

What? Us actually having to do something in Christ?
I did not know I could have others working my body, and I could abdicate responsibility of outcomes.
The commandments, the encouragements, the faith, the believing, the singing of praises, the preaching,
the doing of good works, the having fellowship, the sharing, the encouraging, in fact everything, has one
common theme, us, we need to do it. The one thing we do not have to do is be the atoning sacrifice, but
we need to believe it and accept it, repent, walk, follow, love, be cleansed, be open etc.

Protestant faith criticised the use of priests as intermediaries between us and God, because we could
have a personal relationship with Him. It appears though some want to have all the benefits without
the effort, involvement or costs. Sounds like a spoilt brat generation, they demand their rights, without
any obligations or response..... trouble is this behaviour just gets one thrown out.

Listen....if you think a negative remark is above board for telling ROSE what I told her...do not ever address me again....it was STUPID and RETARDED and your use of it to prove a point really proves that you are just being ignorant......do not address me any more....I am done with you and your lack of honesty. Back to the ignore bin until you can be honest and have integrity!!
What about the other times, and the time you called me a meatball, which I showed was synonomous with moros.

He says to add all and IF THESE (PLURAL) be in you.....the reference is to ALL......
Does Peter say that if things are in you and abound they will make you so that you will not be barren or unfruitful in epignosis or karpos?

And in context, what is he talking about?

1 Peter 1:9- But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Is it talking about being barren and unfruitful in fruit or in UNDERSTANDING.

It reeks of pride of self effort to quote the bible. Just like quoting the bible is fruit inspecting. And he does not realize that some of the things I listed are a. Christ bought us with a price. b. We are redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus. and that the other things should not be looked at as burdens or rules, but as PRIVELIDGES and Blessings. That is the difference in their mindset. They think obedience and holiness is a burden to bear. It is a blessing and a privelidge, and only by grace does it happen, just as only by grace are we saved

You are not talking mindsets here but spiritual realities and kingdoms.

It is like talking emotional flexibility, which they do not have, speaks of a hard heart,
without the normal empathy and care that the Holy Spirit brings.

What one does not expect is an apparent evangelical believer could be a bed of thorns,
whose aim is to rip apart and destroy, rather than build up and bless.

It only makes sense if we are truly evil and deceived condemning hypocrites, when this
is exactly their approach. And the joke is they do not deny claiming righteousness is good
but that they cannot live it at all, and they are being truthful by exposing us as claiming
to be changed while being just puffed up prideful people. And any sins they commit
emphasise why they are truthful and we are liars is no problem.

It is a bit like going in front of God, murdering a few people and then saying its not my
fault it is my flesh so I should be saved because I believe but my flesh replaced with a
perfect body and the sin disappears. Problem is the whole person is just thrown into the
lake of fire, because no separate innocent spirit exists. Bit of a sticky end then.
