No, not those, the one where Paul says "double cursed".
You mean this one?

Galatians 1:8 ►
New International Version
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!

New Living Translation
Let God's curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you.

English Standard Version
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.

Berean Study Bible
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be under a divine curse!

Berean Literal Bible
But even if we or an angel out of heaven should preach a gospel to you contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let him be accursed!

New American Standard Bible
But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!

King James Bible
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Matthew Henry Commentary
1:6-9 Those who would establish any other way to heaven than what the gospel of Christ reveals, will find themselves wretchedly mistaken. The apostle presses upon the Galatians a due sense of their guilt in forsaking the gospel way of justification; yet he reproves with tenderness, and represents them as drawn into it by the arts of some that troubled them. In reproving others, we should be faithful, and yet endeavour to restore them in the spirit of meekness. Some would set up the works of the law in the place of Christ's righteousness, and thus they corrupted Christianity. The apostle solemnly denounces, as accursed, every one who attempts to lay so false a foundation. All other gospels than that of the grace of Christ, whether more flattering to self-righteous pride, or more favourable to worldly lusts, are devices of Satan. And while we declare that to reject the moral law as a rule of life, tends to dishonour Christ, and destroy true religion, we must also declare, that all dependence for justification on good works, whether real or supposed, is as fatal to those who persist in it. While we are zealous for good works, let us be careful not to put them in the place of Christ's righteousness, and not to advance any thing which may betray others into so dreadful a delusion.

Just a thought..... that means you can't judge me to Hell anymore because I have good works, & they are a by product of my salvation.

It has to be true, because you said it!!!;)

If..... that faith endures till the end.:)
If faith does not endure to the end then it was never firmly rooted and established from the start. Saving faith endures and is not some shallow, temporary belief that has no root, produces no fruit and withers away. Perseverance is proof of genuine conversion.

Working out your salvation is in regards to "ongoing sanctification" and not striving to obtain or maintain our salvation by works. Eternal life/salvation is a gift that we receive through faith (Romans 6:23: Ephesians 2:8,9) and is not a prize that we work for and earn.

I have always found this statement hard to put in context with the rest of scripture and then I came across some work on the actual words "fear and trembling" meaning a "total self distrust or recognition of one's own weakness and inability."

In context then, it makes more sense when one looks at the next line that ..."for it is God that works in you both to will and to do for his pleasure."

So we are to continue to work out our salvation not trusting ourselves but abiding in God who will accomplish His will in us.

Again we have Paul teaching how were are to be liberated from self effort and the bondage of sin to being one in Christ

Our race is learning to abide in Christ and not rely on our own effort.
His righteousness is our righteousness, our life is hid with Him.

Our race is practicing, believing and living this truth moment by moment.

Avoiding the naysayers who try to take our eyes off Him back to works based salvation.

I agree, but lest we forget the believer can stay stunted in growth and be worldy which results in wood, hay and stubble instead of gold, silver and precious stones.....also produce stunted fruit and growth.......and I know you know....1 piece of fruit is sufficient to acknowledge the tree!

I think that's it, cause DCon put his like on it.

Now I'll ask you, because Dcon refused to answer, "Does double cursed mean he will still go to heaven?

If you don't accept the true gospel, you don't go to Heaven.

The true gospel is that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus redeeming work on the cross...he died for the remission of our sins, rose again, ascended into heaven and sent us His Holy spirit to seal us and teach us His ways to live godly lives and do good works for His glory,

Folks like to twists the gospel...or only teach half of its..,half the gospel leads to licentious easy believism false gospel or legalistic works salvation false gospel.

Both false gospels will send people to hell.

However God is able to call people to Him even if they are enslaved to the lies of either false gospel.

Phil. 3:12Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus(doesn't have it yet). 15Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you; 16however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.

Paul presses for a prize that doesn't exist?

Why is Paul pressing at all if it's a "done deal"?

How is it Paul doesn't have it yet?

Why is Paul "laying hold of it" when it's supposed to already be his?

How come Paul has to live by standards when he no longer should have to do anything?

How come Paul isn't already perfect like G777 claims that he himself is?

How come most of you HG's will ignore this & not answer me?

Babes in Christ are not automatically mature or "perfect" in Christ and that is what Paul strives for...maturity and oneness with God and His will and wisdom for our lives, joined together with other believers in the Body of Christ.
