Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost (Acts 7:51).

Why can’t you Once Saved Always Saved believers make it passed step one of the gospel?

1. Believer gets imputation of righteousness (Romans 4:24).

2. Becomes born again into the Spirit, flesh crucified (Galatians 5:24).

Oh my.

How about the works I will NOT be doing:

Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light (Romans 13:13).

Have you tried to cast off the works of darkness? Or is doing this “work” discouraged by your doctrine?

I had good chat with you on another thread. Please think soberly, and don’t fall for the Once Saved Always Saved doctrine.

Put the OSAS doctrine through the scriptural Fire; it will not endure.

Love is a fruit that gets expressed in what we do.

"10 Love does no harm to a neighbor." - Romans 13:10

And so it is with the other things in the list of the fruit of the Spirit. They are attributes that find expression in what we do......if we let that happen and don't squelch the Spirit. For example, the person who says they are patient but who does not act patient isn't patient.
Yes and the fruit of the Spirit happens in the heart.

For example, one may act on the outside as patient but inside feeling impatient.

Nothing to fall for salvation is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> once saved, always saved
What are you believing in Christ for? If it is not for eternal security than WHAT KIND OF SALVATION IS IT?

It is NO salvation...because the ONLY thing Jesus offers is eternal life!

My doctrine simple: John 3:16 😎

I believe your heart is in the right place; you want what’s best for people, but be careful not to put undue burdens on others.

Jesus Christ is my doctrine; having faith in Him completely and eternally cast off the works of darkness. The simplicity of Jesus Christ is beautiful and His grace is sufficient.

Add as much context as you want in your explanation of Hebrews 6:7-8.
not everyone who professes Christ, or thinks they are a believer really are.

so, it is a call to search one's heart to be SURE one truly BELIEVES.

v.9- " ...we are convinced of better things for you, the things that have to do with salvation..."

still waiting on you to explain how your theology can tell which tree is alive and which tree is dead based on outward appearance, since that is what judging by works does...

oh, and the pecan tress have no leaves or blooms, the peach trees are staring to bloom a bit.

so, same thing with those trees...

He could reject the promise and go back to Chaldea.
God imputed righteousness, not man. Men break covenants, not God.

Even with all that Abram did, David etc... Paul says this about the imputed Righteousness of God:

Rom 4:1 What then shall we say that Abraham, our ancestor according to the flesh, has discovered regarding this matter?
Rom 4:2 For if Abraham was declared righteous by the works of the law, he has something to boast about – but not before God.
Rom 4:3 For what does the scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
Rom 4:4 Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation.
Rom 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness.
Rom 4:6 So even David himself speaks regarding the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:
Rom 4:7 “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;
Rom 4:8 blessed is the one against whom the Lord will never count sin.”

What could Abraham, or David, or any other believer do to change this fact that Yahweh Elohim does not take HIS
Imputed Righteousness away once given?

Nothing.

Justification is one time!

God Bless!

20“...you will know them by their fruits." - Matthew 7:20

v.9- " ...we are convinced of better things for you, the things that have to do with salvation..."
And the author says what those things are that have to do with salvation:

"we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation. 10God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them." - Hebrews 6:9-10

That's how the author is sure of better things in their case (better than being cursed and burned in the end). He knows it by the fruit of love at work in their lives.

Stop believing.
That's what he can do.

The ministry of Jesus on our behalf in heaven is active and ongoing and always interceding for us:

"Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us." - Romans 8:34

"he (Jesus) always lives to intercede for them." - Hebrews 7:25

This power of God given to us through the intercessory ministry of Christ comes to us through our continuing faith:

"5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time." - 1 Peter 1:5

Stop having faith and the ongoing ministry of Christ's intercession for you ends. The continuing, one-time justification that you had through His ongoing ministry ends. That's what Paul said to the saved Galatians. He told them that falling away from faith in Christ for justification and back to the law for justification made Christ of no effect to them where He had once been effective for them:

"2 ... I Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised (for justification), Christ will be of no value to you at all.
4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace." - Galatians 5:2,4

A return to unbelief and a dependence on something else for justification (or nothing at all) causes Christ to no longer be of effect for you in justification.

Continuing in the believing that you started out with is not 'self' being on the throne.
That's no more true than you starting to believe is 'you' being on the throne.

Do you have a biblical example of that?, of righteousness imputed and taken away.?
The Galatians.
God hadn't turned them over yet, but Paul told them plainly what the result was of going back to the law for justification and away from Christ for justification.
