Your tactics would be better suited for a classroom in Israel. I will not tolerate your arrogance.
It also says in the Bible to forgive, I guess ou now need to repent again otherwise you have once again lost your faith. This is why I partially believe ES.

I got "Georgia On My Mind.":D
I still got this on my mind
,are you a jew or a gentile. who gave the law given to moses, to a gentile. even Cornelius never repented.(act 10)
you cant follow basic, I am not jewish, so rebuilding law given to moses into a gentile life, is pointless.
act 15, prove that there the was not for a gentile, ie they would have just said follow that law.(moses)
I will stay tuned, to how you try and build jewish law in to grace, 3.16 john. who saves, and what do you need to do to be saved. strange all the apostils are jewish, yet only jewish people were at Pentecost.
acts 10 proves that Cornelius (being a gentile) even the people with peter never knew what god had planned.(ie being the first gentile , so no gentiles at Pentecost) yet went out side law, and followed what, the spirit told them to do, even the apostil peter. so what jewish person gave the gentile the full law of moses, because even act 15, proves they don't need to follow the full law.
and if your going to reply, to my post address what I say in it.

when your ready to answer.

The gospel is of Christ the quotes are from the scriptures ...Take your eyes off me and look to Christ

my eyes have never been on your or any other man, always on Christ, I could have no assurance if I looked to self or man. only fear

I suggest you get your eyes off YOU and place them on Christ.

I am lost because I have faith in Christ as my savior?
I am lost because I follow what He says?
I am lost because I know He is sufficient for my every need?
I am lost because I resist temptation?
I am lost because I pursue holiness?
I am lost because I serve my brothers and sisters in Christ?

For which of these am I condemned?

If you are serving others for selfish reasons (like to escape hell) then there is no love in them, and they are worthless works.

Once you put your faith in Christ, instead of requirements, then you will be able to serve others with a pure heart.
Are the above 6 things you listed requirements for the Christian to maintain his salvation?

Can one become a Christian and NOT do those six things and still be saved?

Can a Christian who does these 6 things quit doing them and still maintain his salvation?

If a Christians does these 6 things, then is he trying to earn salvation by doing them?

Are these 6 things even necessary at all for the Christian to do?

I remember the constant feeling that I was a disappointment to God, and the uncomfortable prayers.
I was saved at a Pentecostal church. I was instructed in Arminianism (although the term was never used).

If you spend enough time in the Word, you will come out of that bondage. That's really what it is. Never really feeling truly saved, because you always feel your on the border of condemnation. Always guilty, and never understanding what freedom is.

I was saved but I was also just a babe, and needed the constant reinforcement of damnation messages and Salvation messages.

One day, while reading through John 6, the Lord opened up the Truth to me, and freed me from the guilt.
I finally realized that "I heard His voice because I am one of His sheep. He never loses His sheep."
Romans and Corinthians finally made sense. The word 'predestined' finally made sense. The reason we are called His Body and His Bride finally made sense.

I hope more of you can share in that blessing, by looking to the Word for the answer, not just your minister or 700 Club.

Those are just things I do. I do them because I love my Savior.
He's not my Savior because I do those things, but simply because He called me out.
I am not in control of my salvation,
But I also don't understand how a person could not want to do those things after meeting Jesus.

Are you sure that it doesn't work that way?
Our sins are blotted out by the Blood of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
They are gone. Disappeared.
Not to be weighed against us.
Instead, we will be judged as righteous as Christ was righteous. He is our covering.

You should take Atwood's advice, and highlight all the passages about salvation in the NT, and contemplate them in context.
Then go through the OT and compare what you have learned about NT salvation with how the sacrificial atonement worked in the OT.
You will gain more clarity by this comparison.
I have no problem with the advise , the illustration is rubbish
This illustration has nothing to do with faith in Christ ,it has to do with seeing ,we walk by faith, not by sight
As an aside, it just came to my mind the gospel illustration. The color of sin in the Bible is red rather than black. Though your sins be as scarlet, etc. If you take a white piece of paper and mark it with a red marker SIN, then you put on red glasses (like the old 3D glasses that had red & blue lenses -- but not using blue), and you look at the white piece of paper, the word SIN in red will disappear (the shade of red on the marker has to be the same shade as the glasses to get the best effect.)
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
[SUP]7 [/SUP](For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

[SUP]8 [/SUP]We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

So must a Christian do or not do those things?

Eternal security says those things are not necessary for a Christian to do. [Eph 2:10 says otherwise]

Are you trying to earn salvation by doing them?

Can a Christian that does them quit doing them and still be saved?

Can one who becomes a Christian NEVER do them and still be saved?

It is completely silly to think you cna say a few words and do whatever you want and be saved
God does not want hypocrites in heaven
period.

only those who give their whole lives to him 100 percent are his disciples.

the majority will be lost says Jesus they could have been saved
but they were lead astray by false used car salesman looking for big churches.
These words follow after a contrite heart.

Psalm 51:17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

Obedience to Christ for the Christian is learned, not forced. It takes a contrite and regenerated to start the process.

Titus 2

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

my friend is an air conditioner installer
and was working repairing and air conditioner in a big BA_____ church
they think they are saved

he was up in the roof working
and
he heard the head elder and the pastor bragging about all the women they had sex with already in the church
they believe they are saved

I wuarantee you
these men will burn in hell if they dont repent

the chance of repentance is ZERO cause they dont think they have to
the devil is pretty smart

there is no OSAS because if you keep on sinning you are NOT born again
you do NOT have the bvoice
and you WILL burn.

so
repent
get saved AGAIN
get the spirt
get born again
and stop sinning
listen to the voice.

if we don sin and we are SORRY and ask for repentance (power to neer do it again) we are forgiven
and you remain clean as long as you trust in God to keep you that way

that is divine grace

if you fall and go bac to sinning
the blood does not cover you
Paul says so

millions will find out they ahve been decieved and ther is
as ze[haniah zechariah and amos says
a time coming
When Jesus on the cloud will tell the MAJORITY of christians

DEPART FROM ME I NEVER KNEW YOU I never struggled with you, you who kept right on sinning

and the people will be shocked

and angry

yo know what will happen next?
God will give them time to search and seek out all their pastors who got them lost in the false gospel

there is a special punishment for false pastors
their flocks will come
and they will dismember them slowly
its in the bible
it will be an awful punishment
but richly deserved.

the one thing I would not want to be is a false pastor
fearful is the punishment for them

So you are gonna take this one instance and make the application that all Ba...(?) pastors are like this one. What a joke. Your righteous deeds are as dirty rags unless you have the blood of Christ applied to your life.

I find it ironic that while Jesus was hanging on the cross, He was taking all the sins of the world unto Himself, and the Father turned away because the sight was too "disgusting" for Him to watch. Now here we are with this phony OSAS doctrine, which implies that those same filthy sins that Jesus absorbed on the cross and the Father could bear to watch, can now enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Such behavior & actions are not allowed in heaven and there are numerous of scriptures that states those sins are not allowed to enter God's Kingdom. I stated in an earlier post that the Church will be quite small because very few Christians will follow the Bible literally. One cannot dip in both God's world and the secular one. It is gonna be sad when most Christian will be left. When one is saved, he is a "new creature" and will not go back to those sinful ways. And if he does he needs to confess, repent and make amends to keep his slate clean with the Lord. Satan must be laughing his tail off knowing most Christians who follow this phony OSAS fluke will not have eternal life. But Jesus will give them a "second chance" to do it right with Him during TRibulation.
I know that you do not like OSAS. But OSAS only has to do with YOUR RESURRECTION AND YOUR ENTRY INTO HEAVEN. You cannot raise yourself no matter how much fruit you bear for the Kingdom. There is not enough good works that you can perform to merit your entrance into heaven. So that is why we look to Jesus Christ. He only, by the free gift of God will raise you from the dead. He alone sacrificed his life to wash away your sins, so that by his grace and not of works, you may enter into heaven. You do at least have to believe in him and accept him as your personal Savior.

So where does "good works', and "bearing much fruit" fit in to this picture, the scriptures are full of "keep my commandments", "love me and your fellow man". Why, if it is all a "free gift" should I be worried about being "good".
The reason we follow the Saivior and do what he has taught is because our life on earth and our Christian walk on earth will be much more fulfilling. And more important, our eternal reward in heaven will be much greater. Our eternal walk with God will be much broader, and deeper, and much more fulfilling. We are good because we love God and want to be like Him and He will reward you with greater happiness throughout the eternities for your faithful behavior.

There has to be a free gift from God (OSAS), or none would make it to heaven. But for your ultimate, eternal Christian fulfillment you want to do what Jesus taught us to do, keep the commandments, and be faithful in bearing much fruit for the Kingdom of God. They are both necessary.

Two passages which I'm interested to see comments on by "anti-OSAS'ers "

Romans 10:9-10
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Note: You don't need works to have yourself justified, no you believe and are justified (But truly belive not just some fake belief that you don't mean, as said it is your heart that believes not you) and you confess your sins and you are saved.

Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Note: Ok good, now we are saved can we loose it? According to this passage NOTHING IN CREATION can, don't nitpick saying that nothing else can but you can as I am pretty sure you are part of creation, plus life can't seperate you either or any powers. Sin and death are "powers" and they too cannot seperate you from the Lord

On a side note:

Isaiah 57:12
I will expose your righteousness and your works, and they will not benefit you.

Amen
