Matthew 13:36-43. Remember these are not my words but Jesus's Here I will copy the verses from Biblehub.com. Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

My comments on Matthew 13:36-43 The first thing I want to say is when God, Jesus give us the explanation of something, or tells us what a symbol or metaphor means we are not to change it. Verse 36. Jesus sends the multitude away and the disciples cam to Him and said " Jesus what did you mean by the parable of the wheat and the tears, please tell us." Verse 37. He Jesus answered them ( so if you want to disagree with this remember it is not me you disagree with but God Almighty Himself) He that soweth the good seed: the man that owned the field and by himself sowed the field. Is the Son of man. Who is the Son of man? Jesus. Verse 38. The field is the world period end of story. The good seed: [Seed # 4690 Strong's concordance sperma something sown, i.e. seed the male sperm.] We are not talking about a field of wheat and tares. We are talking about a world of people with 2 different Fathers the wheat the good seed the children of God and the bad seed the tares the children of Satan. There are only 2 types you are either on Gods team or Satan's team. There is no other teams on the field. In the world. You are either for Me, believe my word and willingly follow it or you are playing on Satan's team and fighting against me. Again the field is the WORLD! Verse 39. The enemy is the Devil, Satan, or what ever name is used for him in the bible they are all one in the same. The harvest is the end of the world period end of story. The reapers, angles those that The Man trusted to gather the tears shall gather out of His kingdom. Verse 40. The tares ae gathered by the reapers burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. And then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of there Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Jesus dose not say that there shall be to men working in the field and one shell be taken by a rapture and the other left. He does say there shall be 2 type of children in the field (world) and the evil children shall be taken first and then we that are left shall shine forth in the kingdom of our Father. No rapture, no flying away, or anything like it does say in Zechariah that Jesus shall gather His children to himself on the Mt. of Olives when He returns to earth to set up His kingdom.

There will be NO glorified trip to heaven. Or the Bible would have made that clear in plain language.

Also, the Bible is clear that there will be ONE resurrection of the saved and ONE resurrection of the unsaved. Acts 24:15

The ONE resurrection will occur "when He comes", a reference to the Second Advent, in 1 Cor 15:23.

2 Thess 2:1 - Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers,

Rev 20:5 - The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.

This "first resurrection" includes Tribulation martyrs from v.4. Since there is ONE resurrection of the saved, and trib martyrs are saved, we know that ALL believers receive their glorified bodies when Jesus comes again at the Second Advent.

This is indefensible. The verses are very plainly written.

And, again, no verses that show Jesus taking glorified believers to heaven.

My definition of 'rapture' is "catching up" - nothing more.
That's good. The problem is that when the word is spoken or written, the vast majority of evangelicals think of a trip to heaven in a glorified body.

Yes, believers who are alive and remain til the coming of the Lord WILL BE caught up to the clouds.

"""There is no scripture that teaches us the coming of the Lord will occur before the great tribulation."""

I have shown your statement not only be a lie, but I have buried it in Truth.
Don't change God's word and don't lie about it

Get a bible and honestly address the pretrib rapture verses.

The bible is not place to prove your doctrine that confused church fathers formulated because they thought they were in the gt.

We are past all that error.

You are fooling yourself and those in the postribber camp.

No bereans will fall for it.

All you have done so far is deny the truth the scriptures provide.

You have provided no scripture that the coming of the Lord with the resurrection, rapture and destruction of the antichrist occurs before the tribulation.

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
1Thessalonians 4:15

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
2 Thessalonians 2:8

Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Have you never read Matthew 13:24-30 the parable of the wheat and the tears? The Jesus Himself gives you the explanation in verses 37-43. He says in verse 24 the kingdom is like a man (only one man Jesus) sowed good seed in his field. Verse 25 says the men slept: the watchman fell asleep and his (the owner) enemy came right on in and sowed his own bad seed among the mans good seed. The watchman are to stand grad and sound the alarm when they see the enemy not be at sleep. Verse 26. When the field brought forth its fruit some was good(wheat) and some was bad(tares). Verse 27. One of the sleepy watchman came and accused the man of sowing bad seed in the field. Look we have tears of there in the field. How did that happen? 28. "my version O you lazy and wicked servant this happened because you went to sleep on your watch and allowed this to happen." The servant reply's do you want us to pull them up? Verse 29. No leave both to grow I don't want you to mistake the wheat for the tares or the other way around. Verse 30. No leave them till the harvest and I will have the reapers (notice not the servants but others the reapers) Gather first the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them. Then we will gather the wheat into MY (not anybody else's) barns. I am posting this then we will go into the explanition.
context is off.
The " one taken" is in peacetime and prejudgement.
The wheat and tares is postjudgement.

we both agree Jesus comes postrib.

You add a rapture into it.
You have zero verses for your made up notion.

Rev 14:14 has Jesus coming during the gt and gathering the Jews.
That alone destroys your doctrine.

In YOUR doctrine you place a rapture at the white horses.
YOUR doctrine has the horses hovering in the clouds with Jesus mounted on a white horse. (no touching of the earth).
( ...rapture postrib but no feet on the earth).

Your doctrine also has the coming on horses, a LOCAL MIDEAST event, trying to place a worldwide rapture into a local event..

Pretrib rapture has none of those impossibilities

.....but you never thought of that did you?

What really destroys postrib rapture completely is rev 14:14 and acts 1 " like manner"

None of you can honestly go there, against either verses.

But you need to go against Gods word that your doctrine omits.

Those verses, as you demonstrate in your post , are omitted in your doctrine.

you must be a postribber.
Go to the "one taken" and see the context.
*Normal life
*Peacetime
*And in the same breath, Jesus used the CONTEXT " before judgement"

Before judgement, one taken, one left ,watch and be ready.

Reread it.

Your example of wheat vs tares is another subject completely

After all the verses given, you are down to lying about them not saying what they do say.

And the weird thing is, your doctrine has no verses at all supporting a postrib rapture.
You just insert it.

No rapture, no flying away, or anything like it does say in Zechariah that Jesus shall gather His children to himself on the Mt. of Olives when He returns to earth to set up His kingdom.
.
Jesus dose not say that there shall be to men working in the field and one shell be taken by a rapture and the other left. He does say there shall be 2 type of children in the field (world)

No verse that says glorified believers not going to heaven.
None
Seriously??

So you prove your fantasy by a negative?? That's rich.

No verse describes any kind of trip of glorified believers to heaven. And you know it.

Your defense here is pitiful.

otoh, I've shared many verses that prove that the single resurrection/gathering of believers occurs at the Second Advent, which is obviously post trib. And no trip to heaven then, either.
