"Talk no more so very proudly; let no arrogance come from your mouth, for the Lord is the God of knowledge; and by Him actions are weighed." 1 Samuel 2:3 (NKJV)
See? Trying to cut someone up with the Word as a veiled accusation while looking all holy for quoting scripture. Why do believers do that so often? (Notice I referred to you as a believer since I don't judge the individual hearts of men relative to salvific faith.)

Maybe you should reread my posts. I've clearly stated that the Father is not the Son is not the Father (are not the Holy Spirit). Now you've back off of the term "person/s". And you don't know what Godhead means. It's theotes or theiotes in Greek. It doesn't mean "Trinity of F/S/HS" at all. That's just your presumed understanding.
They are the same, they are the attributes and titles of One eternal, omnipresent God.

I saw you use the word omnipresent in post 176 on page 9 so what words from these do you not understand?

I just saw that you got back on. I hope it was after a nice restful sleepy-bye. :)

A dictionary is best kept handy (and a Greek lexicon) when I'm around. It's just how I roll. :D

Wanna resume the initial basic discussion of God/heaven/eternity?

How about you tell me how one God can be three persons especially when two of God's attributes are Spirit?

Thank you.

How about you tell me what could possibly give you the impression that I'm a Trinitarian. Trinity is literally impossible from the inspired text, and I'm the most ardent, arduous, adamant, voracious, vociferous, vehement non-/anti-Trinitiarian who has ever drawn breath on this oblate spheroid-esque orb called Earth.

Thank YOU. :)

(Oneness, I presume. I like the good Oneness folks.)

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

The above scripture coupled with the teachings should be more than sufficient to show in dead words the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are One. Now for this understanding to be alive, it must be taught by the Comforter and Counsellor. Of course none of the above quotes will convince anyone without the Holy Spirit imparting this knowledge.

Alright everyone... I tried to say SCRIPTURE ONLY for this reason, please don't call the doctrine of Oneness heresy. As I said I don't have a clear understanding yet of which is truth, and God has no boundaries, so if He is One being manifested in 3 ways that is possible, He can do anything. Just be careful with your words, same with those who have opposing opinions on this to those who have already posted. I'm all for you proving what you personally believe with scripture but lets not do name calling or saying one or the other is heresy. Thanks :)

No, I am not oneness, neither do I believe in three Gods, nor should we attempt to divide One God into three parts.

I admit I didn't know what the Greek word oida (3609a) meant until I googled it just now, apparently it means to know, understand or to have knowledge of. :)

Here is an example for you. If you knew who these three are you would understand the Trinity. Why don't you have a stab at guessing their name.

Flight Lieutenant of the Royal Air Force
Lieutenant of the Royal Navy
Field Marshal of the British Army

I grew up trinitarian, I have no problem "understanding" what that "doctrine" is. I just don't believe it, nor do I follow it. Not after all the bible study i have had, and revelation, and personal experience, nor will I be swayed back to that belief. I am a oneness apostolic, and proud of it.

esword is brilliant I use it all the time. If you know the verse all you need do is go onto KJV+ and hover over the number at the side of the word you want to know the meaning of and the English translation comes up. :)

The best way I can explain Oneness is to illustrate it like this. First of all there might be a chrysalis, the chrysalis becomes a caterpillar and the caterpillar becomes a moth or butterfly. But this cannot apply to God because the Father, Son and Holy Spirit co-exist together.
