So what your saying is you believe in a rapture sometime between mid and post. Since these two men are ressurected and ascend sometime in the middle to end of the last 3 1/2 years. For the seventh trump has to sound, and the armies need to gather around Isreal to be destroyed by Christ after these events take place.

Thats a new one on me/
No eternally-gratefull that’s not what I am saying.

At the end of the tribulation Jesus comes.

What I was saying was, the two end time witnesses prophecy for the last 3 ½ years/1260 days.

Then are resurrected at the last trumpet after hearing a great voice come up hither and they ascended up to heaven in a cloud in Rv11.

I think this Deminion Theology, Kingdom Now teaching that is becoming so popular is a great deception coming upon the Church today. They are teaching that there is not going to be a rapture and that the event in the book of Revelation has already taken place. Be sober Christians know you bible. Jesus is coming back for His Church and he tiells us to watch and pray that we would be found worthy to escape these things. What things? read Matthew 24, luke 21 and the book of Revelation and you will know what things. The bible also admonishes us to love His coming. The spirit and the bride say come quickly Lord Jesus.

well that is why I said the 3rd woe had not happened yet. Some things have to happen between the time they are raised and the actual end comes.

3.5 years is not 1260 days
You know very well for history and the Bible that they used a 30 day for one month calendar

History, Genesis Record Previous 360 Day in a year Calender.

there is much historical evidence from ancient history that we were on a 360/30 calendar once before from which we get our 360 degrees of a circle until things changed in the 8th century BC

(Genesis 7:11, 24; Genesis 8:3-4

30 x 5 = 150

Actually the Jews would add a month to their calender every few years so their calender was accurate and the new month would begin on the new moon, as for the 1260 days it would be good to discuss whether it is literal or symbolic and why on a new thread.

First let me say it is wrong to call God's calendar the Jew's calendar. His calendar was given to us in Genesis and runs all the way through Revelation. Those extra months (a 13 month year) are based on agriculture of which the barley had to be ripe in order to determine the beginning of a new year or first month of the year and also known as Abib (avib defining the readiness of the barley - google it.) This determination of when a month was Abib (also called "Nisan" in 2 OT references) determined when Passover would take place. In knowing when the first month of the year is determines all the rest of the year Feasts/Appointments.

Now, consider is it possible for a month to have an exact 30 days (instead of the present 29.5 days) if the earth's axis shifts? Could it have been during the time of Noah and the flood that the earth rotated in a perfect 30 day month cycle? Something to consider or be watchful of in the future if the prophecy is to be literal? Could there have been something in the past like say, fire and brimstone falling from the sky that altered the earth's axis rotation? Just some questions I have asked myself. I lean most often to literal interpretation of the word and seems science has told us the earth axis changed by several degrees after the Japan earthquake and tsunami. Anyway, just a thought.

You make an interesting observation. I have been studying the flood events lately. And I tell you. From what I am seeing, it was a major catastrophic event, not just a little rainstorm. The face of the Earth changed, and plate techtonics started in this time.

Peter also gives us a warning that we should not assume things are happening today as they always have.

3 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.

it is also, I do not believe in coincidence, that Peter mentions the flood right after this.

I find this quite comical (with all due respect) but this is the only truth I stand in.

I AM A CHILD OF GOD, I ACKNOWLEDGE THE TRUTH THAT JESUS WAS BORN TO DIE FOR OUR SINS, HE WAS NAILED TO A CROSS TO REDEEM ALL MEN WHO ARE WILLING TO GIVE THEIR LIVES TO HIM, HE ROSE FROM THE GRAVE AND HE IS COMING AGAIN.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

The fact that there are so many variants and so many people who argue the before and after trib teachings or the rapture leads me to believe their eyes are not only the Love Story of Jesus. If you are saved, and Confess that Jesus is the son of God, then according to the word of God you will enter the Kingdom of heaven. It does not say that "If you believe that the Rapture is going to be before of after trib.."

John 3:3 "Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

The sad part is - all who commented on this tread are "hopefully" children of God according to the Word, yet, you argue among each other about doctrine and dogma. It's been the the main cause of division in the body of Christ.

Romans 15:3-15 For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.” For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

It's about Jesus ALL ABOUT HIM and the Glory of GOD our father!

That's all Folks.

LOVE YOU IN CHRIST BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

Boy the Bible would be short if you wrote, but God inspired the Bible. It is all about Jesus, so you think Jesus wasted His time by teaching us eschatology?

It makes a HUGE difference what one believes about this so-called "Rapture". It is an idea that isn't even in the Scriptures.

And, the Holy Spirit prompted men to write the Scriptures. It is ridiculous to act as if we all just have to focus on Jesus, while we ignore His WORD. He said that the wise man builds on the rock, THEN He explained that the Rock means His WORD.

And we were not asked to unite on false doctrine. We were asked to CONTEND for the faith once given to the Saints, meaning the true doctrines.
