Ozell, please consider and think on this. The 7th millennium begins the day after the 6th has ended, that would be the morning of the first day of the year 6000. This will be the first day of the first year of the millennium.
year one through 1000, the first
first day of 1000 through 2000, the second, etc.
consider this

what day was man created on?

is this the day we start the count for mans 6 days of labor?

when you get the answer

is day is the 7th day rest now or in the future?

here is one reason the Lord said remember the sabbath day

That is true they did think they could change God's Law and many believe it to be changed.


all people except God's servants think the day starts at 12:00 am

this is wrong

the new day starts at sundown

Genesis 1
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.


where is the change if the day starts at 12:00am? its the same as 11:00pm or 2:00am

yet at evening we see a change, God know what he is doing.

this is why the Christians cant get Easter right, they don;t understand the passover and they don't understand when God day begins and ends.

that why I question do they really believe in Jesus

is it the people God gave the oracles to the (teachers) or the students thes so-called denominations

the student cant get the correct day to worship on right
the student cant get 3 days and 3 nights right
the student don't ant to understand Jesus was not born on december 25th

It was His CUSTOM. Not that it was a commandment to go to the synagogue, but by the tradition of the people who gathered there on that day. Jesus like us all MUST do the work of Him who sent us while it is STILL DAY! The NIGHT comes when NO MAN CAN WORK!

Sounds familiar doesn't it? Jesus obeyed the sabbath day by RESTING IN THE GRAVE.

Ozell....this goes hand in hand with my post....although I too believe that God's sabbath is and always will be on the 7th day...for those that are worshiping God on other days my question to them is, "Are they keeping whichever day they are serving the Lord on HOLY?"

There is only one that can declare something as Holy; God! And God has given us what He says is the way for us to keep the sabbath Holy;

Rest!
Have a Holy convocation!
No cooking!
No buying or selling!
No work!
Not doing our own pleasures!

So no matter what day you observe as your sabbath day, are you keeping it Holy the way God has instructed us?

how is it you do not understand what Jesus is saying here?

Mark 2 - 21 'And no one a patch of undressed cloth doth sew on an old garment, and if not -- the new filling it up doth take from the old and the rent doth become worse; 22 and no one doth put new wine into old skins, and if not -- the new wine doth burst the skins, and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but new wine into new skins is to be put.'

The phrase, "It is written..." was used over 60 times in the NT. The place where it was written was from the OT. I'm sure Jesus and those that followed and was taught by Him used and quoted the OT a lot. It seems that OT scriptures was used a bit during the times of Jesus and the apostles.

Let's read what Tim had to say about the OT;

2 Tim.3
[15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Timothy tells us that the OT scriptures could make one wise even unto salvation!

While we are to keep Gods laws...as long as we know for a fact the alleged is in fact guilty of the crime they are charged with...Jesus still allows us to let those guilty go unpunished until He punishes them. Let's read scripture;

[28] He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
[29] But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
[30] Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Above Jesus tells us to let the guilty and the righteous live together until His return, lest a mistake is made and the wheat (righteous) and the tare (wicked) are rooted up together, punishing both.

While we are to keep Gods laws...as long as we know for a fact the alleged is in fact guilty of the crime they are charged with...Jesus still allows us to let those guilty go unpunished until He punishes them. Let's read scripture;

for those who work (under LAW), their wage is DEBT.

why are you claiming to "keep" the sabbath biblically, while not obeying the LAW and putting to death transgressors?

remember, you claim you are obeying the LAW given to MOSES at Sinai.

There is no Law in all the Bible that says to keep the first day holy in the same way as the 7th day sabbath.
