There is no Law in all the Bible that says to keep the first day holy in the same way as the 7th day sabbath.
SDA is the cult that obsesses over Rome "changing" the sabbath.

the sabbath was FULFILLED by Christ. He is the christian's rest. we gather any and every day. it's called LIBERTY.

but you keep toiling away under Moses. your wage will be according to Law.

It was His CUSTOM. Not that it was a commandment to go to the synagogue, but by the tradition of the people who gathered there on that day. Jesus like us all MUST do the work of Him who sent us while it is STILL DAY! The NIGHT comes when NO MAN CAN WORK!

Sounds familiar doesn't it? Jesus obeyed the sabbath day by RESTING IN THE GRAVE.
Where is this written?

Who determines who is a cult?

Where is it written the sabbath day was fulfilled by Jesus? That not written l!

Are you aware the the Israelites were first called Chrisitans ?

The chrisitan did not start in Matthre or the NT

To keep calling names and not know these things seems suspect

Yeshua was not resting when He was crucified and descended into the realm of the dead. He preached the Word to them there. He was working and works to this day.

typically for SDA, when trapped by NT truth after thrusting Mosiac Law on the people, you change the subject entirely.
my point was that you do not understand the parable of the sower if you are applying it as a justification for not obeying THE WHOLE OF THE LAW as you claim to do:

if you want to go back under the Old Covenant, keep ALL OF IT.

Exodus 35
Sabbath Regulations
1Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, “These are the things the Lord has commanded you to do: 2 For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death. 3Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.”

James 2 10 for whoever the whole law shall keep, and shall stumble in one point, he hath become guilty of all;

Hebrews 10 1 The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming--not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship

why are you claiming to "keep" the sabbath biblically, while not obeying the LAW and putting to death transgressors?

remember, you claim you are obeying the LAW given to MOSES at Sinai.
Why don't you post the old and new covenant.

If you think that the commandments including the Sabbath day is not to be kept then somewhere someone has told you a lie.

In the fathers kingdom the people who don't keep the commandments will not b in there

Revelation 21:7-8 (KJV)
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

These people did not keep the commandments and they will not be in New Jerusalem

Someone has lied to you

What part of the old covenant changed?

Why is Paul and James talking about the law if it is no more

Because it was peOple in there day as it is ours saying the law or sabbath is no more

Let's find out who is in a cult or not

Who are these people back in the OT following ?

1 Corinthians 10:1-2,4 (KJV)
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; [2] And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; [4] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

There is only 1 Christ who led israel in the wilderness

These people must be Christians

The following is the comparative of just place where it is mentioned in the Word.

1Pe 3:19

Let's read the next verse along with verse 19

1 Peter 3:19-20 (KJV)
By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; [20] Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Was Jesus crucified in the days of Noah?

No

Now go back and read it again and tell me who is these spirits are in the days of Noah

God don't talk to dead folks

Ecclesiastes 9:5 (KJV)
For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

The dead knows nothing, they can't communicate with the loving

Hebrews 8:7-10 (KJV)
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. [8] For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: [9] Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. [10] For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

The Lord did not find fault with the covenant he found fault with the people

The Lord did not change his covenant those same laws he wrote them on our hearts

What is that covenant?

Deuteronomy 4:13 (KJV)
And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

The same covenant went from being weitten on the stones to our hearts

Who here is clean enough to call someone a cult ?

No one!

Jesus said this about the sabbath

Ezekiel 20:19-20 (KJV)
I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; [20] And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.

What I you rebell as israel did and keep another day and pollute God's sabbath

Who are you serving?

Acts 11:26 (KJV)
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

The disciples were Israelites and the Israelite were called Christians first

The Israelite have always been Christians

Guess what Adam and the patriarch were Christians

Christians did not start in Matthew

Luke 24 44 and he said to them, 'These are the words that I spake unto you, being yet with you, that it behoveth to be fulfilled all the things that are written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, about me.'
Has Jesus fulfilled this written by the prophet?

Isaiah 13:6-7,9-11 (KJV)
Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. [7] Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: [9] Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. [10] For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. [11] And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

What about this spoken of by the patriarch Enoch

Jude 1:14 (KJV)
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

How is everything fulfilled by Jesus and he has not come the second time

I have many more verses from the OT on things Jesus has not fulfilled

Again is it lawful and good to go to church on sunday?

Enough with hiding behind twisted scripture. Are you saying that sunday church goers and all those (including me) who don't go to church at all on any day are NOT saved? A simple yes or no.

You can go to church whatever day you want.

The Lord said this

Leviticus 23:3 (KJV)
Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein : it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

Do you have a problem on what day the Lord said have a holy gathering on

I'm not the Lord, of you want to worship on Sunday do it

But the Lord said

Matthew 15:9 (KJV)
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men

Is Sunday a commandmens of man or God?

Your choice

Where is it written that Sunday is lawful and good?

Why do you think I'm twisting scriptures?

There twisted because you never read them before or your pastors set them
In order before. It's obvious you never heard the sabbath taught this way before
The scriptures are there and they are not going away

Servants of God keep the sabbath day

John 10:27 (KJV)
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Do you hear Jesus voice ?

Listen

John 14:15 (KJV)
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
