Everyone knows this passage:

And Yeshua entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons.
He said to them, "It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers."
Matthew 21:12-13 (ESV2011, MBM)
Now, tie that in to where the Messiah is quoting from:

"And the foreigners who join themselves to YHVH, to minister to him,
to love the name of YHVH, and to be his servants,
everyone who keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it,
and holds fast my covenant—
these I will bring to my holy mountain,
and make them joyful in my house of prayer;
their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar;
for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples."

Isaiah 56:6-7 (ESV2011, MBM)

'cuz 17 God didn't send the Son into the world to be critical of the world, but so that He could save the world.
You seem to suggest that Jesus will 'save this world as it is' !...no criticism...no correction ?

Ever heard of 'conversion ? Mat 18v3.

Everyone knows this passage:

Now, tie that in to where the Messiah is quoting from:

How would we understand how the word “keep” is used in that verse you offered seeing we are lovingly commanded as a law and not just a good suggestion to “let no man judge another” with the things of men that could never make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation?

Let no man
therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. 2:16

It is an insult to Christ, who is the Head of the church, therefore to judge and use any intercessors but him.It is why again he lovingly commanded as a law let no man .

Col 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Paul in 1 Corinthians 4 I believe sums up why we are not to judge one another in respect to shadow and types.Therefore using apostles as examples as to why we are no build on false pride coming from other mediators of the flesh.

Brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written. Then you will not take pride in one man over another.1 Corinthians 4:6

I put John 3 into street english. Here's how nasb does the same passage

17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

Ahhh....one scripture taken out of context.....as if it then applied to everyone.
That's what you get when playing truant (going hang gliding) instead of 'attending lessons with God when commanded.

As an aside, only about 20 hours until the Sabbath! (For me at least.)

not out of context at all
it was in response to this
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:15 (KJV, MBM)
people often quote single verses

the rule against hang gliding on the sabbath is a man-made rule... it's not mentioned in the scriptures.

"If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath,
from doing your pleasure on my holy day,
and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy day of YHVH honorable;
if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly;
then you shall take delight in YHVH,
and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;
I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of YHVH has spoken."

Does God have to list every single 'leisure and pleasure activity of man that goes against His Sabbath command ? Is it not enough when He says 'to keep His Day holy and for special purpose ?

And single verses are fine if they say all there is to be said on a subject....but to pull one out from amongst other verses expanding on a subject is not wise as it leads to a 'onesided view.

The pint that no one should be opening the DOOR never fully entering in and preventing those who wantvro
you are talking about Pharisees.
remember, these are the people who forsake the commandments of God for their own tradition.
just like most of the modern church does now.

I am talking about anyone who stands before the DOOR and inspects the "sacrifices" and by doing so puts their own hand in the middle.

If you think I do not know what I am talking about, look at JESUS in the temple overturning the tables and look at the Jew who was supposed to not treat the alien as an alien...that anyone who wanted ALSO to celebrate "THE PASSOVER" needed to be circumcised.

It's just that they thought that their circumcising was the do or don't between GOD and men.

It wasn't.
GOD had another CIRCUMCISION/COVENANT MARK in mind and it was inwardly by HIS HAND...and HE did not need the "help" of men, though HE called HIS FIRST CHOSEN to be a light to all men that they may know HIM, we know now, HE had all intentions of taking back the work for the GLORY and HOLINESS of HIS NAME and to declare HIS NAME as HOLY amongst all nations, because, well...HIS NAME was "misrepresented" amongst the gentiles...

a big Amen to that (except for the yhvh stuff, since the nt writers never wrote it)

I can't think any verses that say all there is to say on a subject

when I asked about driving or using
electricity, I understood the basic approach to be that those things aren't in the bible, so don't go making up rules about them.

that's cool, but then hang gliding isn't in the Bible either

not sure how you read your Bible.
The Messiah said why He turned the tables over. Because you have made it into a den of thieves.
