Jesus, full of grace and truth, did not come to save people in their sins, but rather to take away sin done through His atonement and ministered through the empowering influence of the Spirit of grace upon the soul....

Those who ignore this fact will argue in favour of sin till the cows come home...Like the blues brothers they think they are on a mission from God..

Yes he took away sin (the penalty) by fulfilling the requirement of the law.

He did not make us sinless. that will occur when we get to heaven.

He has however, perfected forever (HIS perfect righteousness) those who he is in the process of sanctifying (Our imperfect righteousness)

dude, Your slander is getting out of hand, You want to keep that nonsense up?

No one is arguing for sin, We are arguing for GRACE.

Paul spoke of people like you. who claim he was arguing for sin, what did it do to help those people? Nothing, It will not help you with your slander either.

Romans 3:8
And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come”?—as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just.

Paul said you can live godly in this mortal body...keep arguing in favour of sin..all can see it, and some will come out of the delusion that are hungering and thirsting for righteousness. If you want to number yourself among the sinners then so be it..remember it is the faith once delivered to the saints...You seem to confuse that with the faith that was once delivered to the sinners...sinners and saints are the OPPOSITE. Its on almost every page of the bible. Even Psalms 14 & 51, where Paul quoted God who says none among the wicked that don't believe in God can do any good, then it is contrasted against the righteous. You always seem to desire to number yourself among the wicked. I don't understand why.....Noah never did that..He was empowered by the Spirit to walk morally upright (perfect in his generations)..The wicked seek out evil schemes...

You number yourself as a sinner and dispense the gospel of liberty to others? Like Peter said : they speak great swelling words of emptiness promising others liberty, while they themselves are servants of sin..........

Way do some insist on relentlessly impugning Daniels character, and number him among the sinners/wicked? It’s an abomination to God to call that which is righteous unrighteous. It’s a vile sin of the flesh to bear false witness with the intent to impugn another’s character. Why not just repent and quit while ye are still behind, instead of digging a deeper and deeper pit for yourselves….storing up wrath for the day of wrath accusing Gods righteous people to be sinners…Why do they do it? no fear of God

Do you want to be reported again? Are you seriously going to sit there and say I preach one can nt live a godly life (You already lied and state I said cain could not do it, even though God said he could)

You do not want to be here long do you. SLander is a sin, (it is called bearing false witness against someone) do you want to repent? or do you want to continue to practice what you preach against?

I am numbered among the saints based on God and the cross of christ. I have no idea of what you are talking about. Again please. stop your slander, and repent of your bearing false witness against people.

No one is arguing for sin, We are arguing for GRACE.
If you are not arguing for righteousness and walking in obedience to the law of Christ
you are arguing for lawlessness.

So it is an obvious failure on your part to tell the truth about your position.
If you do not hold to any law, and your version of grace is not forgiveness for those
who repent and who walk in righteousness as God declares you are arguing for sinfulness
to be ignored by God because of Christ.

This is not nonsense but perfectly logical.

aren't you the man who, when our dear Ariel said John the Baptist's parents were blameless, only Jesus was sinless, you replied,

"please state which sins you mean when using the term 'sinless' " ?

Yes.....I never went to any organized church accept for a couple of times as a child.I don't believ in denominations, (the very term means to make a name for ourselves).Gen 11.. ....Anyway, sins of ignorance, mistakes in judgement, not perfect in all knowledge, human fragility and flaws do to the fact that we are born subject to vanity for our own good, sins of chastisement, not the the vile sins of the flesh that Paul said would disqualify one from inheriting the kingdom.

perfection in the bible does not mean as perfect as God, but rather moral uprightness and maturity doing that which is righteous according to the knowledge therein...many in the bible were perfect according to Gods own testimony..

"Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with Him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with Himself depends on faith." Phil. 3:8-9

True, so then why not get in on it and obey His words. Its called covenant ("IF" you do this then He will do that") ..Seems like a no brainer to me....Why call me Lord Lord and do NOT what I say, said Jesus..

Hi notmyown,

I just want to caution here because I don't think we can find this in God's word. We are told not to forsake assembling
together. A person can get together with other believers without it being a formal church gathering.

Here's the scripture in Hebrews 10.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

There are many who have left their local churches to meet together in homes. The exhortation rather than command is to continue to fellowship with other believers.

At this time in history they were meeting in homes and they were meeting daily.

My friend Christ is about love in a community. If you have no grace to work with people
and community, then Christ is not fully in you.

It is by knowing the community, our oneness, our bearing each others burdens that we
know what it means to share in Christs suffering.

Christ went to be with sinners because it is here the healer of souls needs to go.
If we isolate ourselves then our faith is just personal and fearful incase it gets
polluted or overcome.

If you want to know what it is to be walking in the Spirit, walk in the Spirit in
community then you will know if you have found real maturity.

Does that mean a person must be perfectly sinless in order to enter the Kingdom?

1 John 1:7-10
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

How does this fit into the philosophy of sinless perfection?
