Which brings me back to my point cobus, he walked perfect before God not because he had no sin but because of his faith in God. it is not possible to not sin as long as we are in this flesh, so therefore we can never be perfect that way but only in our love and faith in God. No one is without sin, no one is without fault. If you seek perfection make sure you seek it the right way

You know, I would like to know where God says we should STRIVE to be PERFECT? Can you show me where Greybeard...

The difference is that Jesus was perfect to begin with and never sinned and us humans were never perfect to begin with. It is contrary to our human nature to do things God's way and our flesh always desires to do things our way. again cobus I ask you are you without sin? are you perfect? I notice you dodged this question before, but if you are not without sin then you cannot go around telling people we must be perfect or without sin. I am a horrible sinner, trust me I always strive to be perfect. I despise my sinful nature and my judgmental eyes and heart, Yet even with all my faults God and I share a deep and divine love. I am proof that you do not need to be perfect or without sin to know Jesus Christ or to be perfect in his eyes. He only asks us to come as we are
I am sorry that you think I am a liar, and I am sorry that you do not understand scripture like you say you do. I have tried many times to teach you and show you what the Scriptures mean. but I can see you are not willing to listen nor learn, you allow your emotions and stubbornness to keep your mind and heart closed. Perhaps one day God will open that heart of yours and on that day I will rejoice and praise God, I really hope tat day is soon.

. but Jesus did say and mean that we MUST be baptized, and He meant with water, how can someone command us to be baptized with the Holy Spirit? can YOU baptize with the Holy Spirit?..can ANYONE baptize with the Holy Spirit?...NO!, of course not it is Jesus who baptizes with the Holy Spirit...so how can Jesus command us and the Apostles tell us we must be baptized?...for it is water baptism that is required....Baptism of the Holy Spirit is required as well don't get me wrong but you cannot dismiss water baptism my friend....THAT is unscriptual.

I too wish to be recreated by God into his perfect image, knowing that I cannot achieve this by my own means because I am but a humble sinner. to be able to tell others they have to be perfect we ourselves must have achieved this or else we are hypocrites. as Jesus said we must take the plank out of our own eyes. Why is it that you seek perfection Cobus? and how do you plan to achieve it? How do you intend to have no sin? there is only one way and that Is through Jesus- through the grace love and blood spilled. you get so angry in these debates and your emotions fly everywhere, why is it you get so angry? There are worse things than someone not agreeing with you.
