You can either have a history religion Issachar, based on eternal truths and tangible justice,

or you can have a mystery religion, spewed out of the mouth of the whore,
full of oddly cobbled together fragments and misconceptions.

Well, it is easy to see how false teachings are formed. If we look at the scripture that he provided, notice that it states that water will flow "half to the former sea (dead sea) and half to the hinder sea (Mediterranean Sea)." There is nothing in the scripture that would lead the reader to interpret the living waters as not referring to literal water.

When they spiritualize things, they can make scripture say anything that they want, instead of believing exactly what the scripture literally says.
I wasn't in agreement. I just wanted to know why he felt that was important. What he shared about the living water does nothing for me. We do hear lots of false teachings on this forum and yet several members have a problem with making a comparative religious section on the forum to witness to cults members and people caught in false major world religion like Islam. Many nominal Christians are going to be clearly exposed on the last day and suffer great loss.

According to people like Matthew Henry the desolation of the Temple and City was vengeance for the sins of Israel
According to Luke 21 the Abomination was an Army surrounding Jerusalem not some statue erected in a modern constructed temple. There is another example of an Abomination that fits Revelations description. Antiochus Epiphanies erected a statue of Jupiter in the Temple. He sacrificed a Sow on the alter and filled the building with Prostitutes. Abomination of desolation was used to describe any Desecration and Destruction. Jerusalem was a Holy City. Luke may have used Armies surrounding the City instead of Abomination because he was writing to Gentiles who may not have been familiar with the expression or the Jewish History behind it.

Another question to ask is why would this expression be used in connection with a modern Temple? Christ alone is our high priest. The sacrificial system was annulled by Christs sacrifice. Any attempt to restart the Sacrificial system in a new Temple would be an abomination to God in itself without having an Idol in it. We are now living stones of Gods spiritual temple. Its more likely that Antichrist is the Pope nor some other religious leader from an Apostate church.
I gave you a like because every thing you said was spot on perfect except the last sentence.

The Abomination of Desolation was indeed the presence of the Roman troops standing in the Holy Land (Place). I can walk you through the 1,290 days and 1,335 days if you want.

The Man of Sin (Lawless One) standing in the Temple was not the Abomination of Desolation as you point out. However, the Man of Sin is also ancient history. He was Titus. He was worshiped in the Temple by his troops. Many of the Jews were deceived into thinking Titus was their "savior" from the oppressive tyrants. Yet, when Titus broke through, he slaughtered them by the tens of thousands.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

I will hear nothing among you but Jesus Christ crucified. All this arguing over water flow, what Josephus said, and what prophecy has been fulfilled regarding end time and what hasn't is a tool of Satan to divide; moreover, it is even a tool used by some religionist to lead some astray into a works oriented religion that has nothing to do with the gospel.

Let's take Paul's advice and stick to Jesus Christ Crucified. Jesus died and He rose to save us and because He lives we shall too. Our names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. let's celebrate. And what is not clear to us now will be very clear when we see God face to face and know even as we are known.

No such thing as "understood" by futurist "theologies". The "rapture" happened in the 1st century AD.

to be honest, I think Futurism and full-blown Preterism are two sides of the same dialectical diabolic plot

This is what we are doing:

Hebrews 5:13-14 KJV
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
[14] But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Hebrews 6:1-3 KJV
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
[2] Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
[3] And this will we do, if God permit.

Let's add the divisive works of Darby, LaHaye and Jenkins with their works based rapture and "left behind" fear mongering, which made them millionaires, to Satan's tool box. Josephus recorded the events as they were happening. He wasn't looking to get rich off of His countries miseries or to condemn people who didn't go along with his writings.

You guys are like broken records that keep repeating the same thing about Darby, Lahaye, Margaret and Scofield, who are not the authors of the church being gathered prior to God's wrath taking place. God and His word is, which is where I got the information from, not from the writings of men. You just refuse to accept it.

Just keep this in mind, when you see on the news that millions and millions of people are missing, the next thing that you will see is that seven year covenant made with Israel. At that time you will know that we were correct in all that we have been proclaiming to you and that you were wrong regarding your claims that end-time events were fulfilled in 70 AD. Jesus has not yet returned, but will at the end of the great tribulation period, arriving in the clouds with every eye seeing Him just as scripture states.

The wrath of God is coming and it is not that watered down, pacified version that you and others preach, the severity of which the world has never seen and which will continue right up to the Lord's return to end the age.

Then you can, with ease, show me the evidence in history,of the flying scorpions, one taken, one left, and the mark of the beast where the whole world either took it or lost their heads in martyrdom.

What your starting point would be,is to show where the white horse rider is released from heaven, kicking off the GT,as Jesus himself, not a false Christ.

What a task since so many showcase a single coming.

Ok,go.

It is obvious that preterism has never studied pretrib verses.

I will await the extrabiblical default mode of Darby,1800,lahaye,etc.

I don't blame you guys actually. If I had to stand in those anti pretrib,"catholic dead men" foundation shoes,I would also forsake the bible to get any kind of traction possible.

They are telling you they are out of gas.

That is why they leave the word.

I really don't blame them. Their deal is poorly thought out.

I believe there's a rapture at the last trump. Read the story about Joshua marching around Jericho 13 times and then sounding the trumpet, I believe that is an old testament picture of the rapture.

I don't belive or advise anybody to study ANY books outside of bible. Everything we need to know is in the 66 books.

Ok,lets play this preterism concept out.

We are now,I would assume,in the millineum.

The rapture must be history,as well as the marriage supper, and nobody is going to heaven, nor are any saints /dead in Christ resurrected, since the 2nd resurrection is judgement.

Man,in one sentence your deal is so busted. Face palm

"Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’ ”

Imminency!
YES, and AMEN! With HIS appearing to call out HIS Bride being as fast as lightning flashing from East to West, it will happen at all kinds of Earth Hours as the Archangel circles the Globe to SHOUT and Call Out the Bride. HENCE:

Luke 17:34-36 (HCSB)
[SUP]34 [/SUP] I tell you, on that night two will be in one bed: One will be taken and the other will be left.
[SUP]35 [/SUP] Two women will be grinding grain together: One will be taken and the other left.
[
[SUP]36 [/SUP] Two will be in a field: One will be taken, and the other will be left.]”

JUST LIKE the Parable of Ten Virgins, again we have 50%. I do not THINK any unbelievers are even mentioned in either case. ALL of those HE is talking about, THINK THEY ARE CHRISTIANS, but 50% are NOT READY and NOT WATCHING for the Bridegroom to come. I think the INVITE to the Wedding of the Lamb was placed in out hearts, the MOMENT the Holy Spirit entered our hearts, birthing our human spirits into Eternal Life; as HE poured GOD's LOVE directly into our hearts (Rom. 5:5).

Well that's like saying you never have learned anything from anyone.

No,it is ok to read books/writings of believers.

It is not ok to base a doctrine on what some dead men said that never saw Israel become a nation, and think those men debunk anything concerning future events.

Besides,I have personally seen preterists cook books. They are massively thick and full of checklists"interpreting" historical events to lackluster conclusions
