God is drawing everyone. He is not a respecter of persons.

Right.
He plants the Seed through His Word but it does not always take root.

"He is not a respecter of persons" that doesn't even make sense.

what scripture verses are you basing that assumption off of?

What about Jacob and Esau, Isaac and Ishmael, Abel and Cain?

God makes a pretty big distinction between those individuals.

alright, first I'm not a Calvinist. Don't really know who he is. people sling his name like its an insult. I haven't read the writings of Calvin. If Calvin influences people it doesn't really matter to me. I judge the idea or doctrine by one standard: is it supported by God's revealed words in the Bible.

God made Adam and Eve. they were templates and THEY created the rest of the people by procreation. Some of the people God shaped for a special purpose. Those are His prophets, His chosen people, His priests.

Don't act all offended all through the Bible it talks about God's chosen people.

Since Adam and Eve were created in God's image and we are created in their image then by reflection we are created in God's image, but Adam and Eve died spiritually. They were made of dust and not spirit.

Until God breathes His Spirit into you, you are just dust and flesh.

Yes God made you responsible for your life, you are responsible for what you choose to believe. He does love everyone and He has a purpose for everyone.

how do you explain these verses of scripture?

Romans 9
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! 15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.”[f] 16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.”[g] 18 Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.
19 You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” 20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?
22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, 24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
25 As He says also in Hosea:

“ I will call them My people, who were not My people,
And her beloved, who was not beloved.”[h]
26 “ And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them,

‘ You are not My people,’
There they shall be called sons of the living God.”

...I've never seen so many Calvinists in one place before. Y'all think GOD HAS DECREED everything that will ever happen. You don't realize what God made each and every person. We are created in His image, with the ability to think, reason, express emotions, love, MAKE DECISIONS. We are free-will beings, created in the image of God. God made YOU responsible for your life. YOU are responsible for what you choose and believe. He loves every single person, and wants everyone to come to Him.

Calvinism sucks. It turns you all into a bunch of "robots for Jesus", making you not responsible for anything. "Oh, it's God's will, He is sovereign, we are not meant to understand why he decrees some to hell". What bunk.

Yes, He is a just God. He does not unjustly determine some people will be permanently destroyed. They bring that on themselves by choosing not to believe.
Yes, but you say that he accomplishes all his will and that it is his will to save all mankind, but he leaves untold millions to everlasting punishment, when he could have saved them. And you say that your God is a just God! Your God sounds much worse than my God. My God accomplishes all his will. Dan 4:35.

How do you rightly divide the word "all"? If I were a robber with a gun and I tell you to give me ALL your money, I mean all. Even the stash you might have in your sock.
If all of the scriptures do not harmonise for you, you do not have the truth. And thats why you must decide who is included in the all.

Ah, yes. Romans 9, the Calvinist manifesto.

I'm on a tablet, typing is tough, will answer tomorrow.

There you go again, Shroom, how many times have I told you that I think that man has free will to choose as he pleases? The carnal man just won't choose spiritual things, like wanting to know a spiritual God.

Natural man can want to know God.

I see that 2 Peter 3:9 has been abused again while I have been absent from this thread. So I will try this:

9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Who is the you?
Amen! The "You" there is certainly not "every man that ever lived and ever will live, without exception".

By your comments and your interpretation of the scriptures, you sure are limmiting those who are saved eternally. I believe that his elect are numbered as the sand of the sea and the stars in the sky in number. There are more of God's children, born again, that do not have a knowledge of the truth than those that do, but all have eternal salvation, if they are of his elect. Matt 7:13-14, Both the wide gate and the strait gate are gates that God's children enter into. Those going into the wide gate are the children of God, born again, who do not have a knowledge of the truth and are going about to establish their own works of righteousness, such as Shroom is doing. Those that are going into the strait gate are those who have been revealed the truth by the Holy Spirit.
Nonsense. Where do you get these ideas and notions from? I do not in any wise "limit" the crowd of the saved. I do not speculate about any numbers or statistics either. All I am saying is, like Paul said, that those that are regenerated all have saving knowledge about Christ, whereas those who do not have this are yet lost. Whom God has determined to save and to have His Christ revealed unto in His timing I do not speculate about. Neither should any man.

As a fruit of regeneration regenerated souls believe the gospel conditioned on the atoning blood and imputed righteousness of Christ alone, whereas unregenerated dead religionist souls believes in a false gospel conditioned on the works of the sinner, which is no gospel at all. God will never leave a saved soul ignorant about the cause of salvation. Nor is anyone saved in such an ignorance. Note that this is not to say that knowledge is a prerequisite to salvation, but it is to say that regeneration brings such knowledge.

Are you saying that the crowd mentioned in Romans 10:1-4 were saved anyway, in contrast to what Paul clearly said of their state?
