It's all about perception. Instead of jumping to conclusions and assuming -- people should ask for clarification, if they have questions/issues.
From my perspective, the like button is the only simple non-intrusive way to let a user know that his/her post has been read by me. The Rep button is specifically for Agreeing.
It's fine to "like" for different reasons -- but we must all realize that not everyone perceives a "like" in the same manner.
I know how you feel but we are called to eliminate strife so if it causes others distress then the only thing to do is back off a little and let them have their space.
It is no secret that I do not agree with all that the doctrines of OSAS, eternal security, and sinless perfection teaches because there are scriptures in the bible to refute each one of them. Somewhere there needs to be common ground understanding between these and that is where I come in to level the field, as I call out all three of them when one speaks of something that does not align with scripture.
I have liked posts made by others in each one of those doctrines to because at times they do say good things or say something that agrees with scriptures.
Also if I want clarification on what one says I will pose it as a question to them, but we are on a web site and assuming, conclusions, and ignoring of answering questions is very common here.
