No! The scripture you refer to says, in the way you read it, that one is a liar if he or she says they have no sin. So in your understanding that scripture only says one is a liar, if they say they have no sin. If one who does not sin, in your understanding, and does not say they no longer sin then they are not lying. You believe one can’t say they don’t sin is that not right? Because if they do they are lying. No one who does not sin in your opinion is not lying if they don’t tell anyone.
You read John 1 to say that a Child of God is a liar if he or she says they no longer sin. Apostle John says a Child of God cannot sin. John also says if one sin they do not know God.
So tell me how (John 1) says a Christian sins.
(1 John 3:9-10) “No one who is a child of God sins because God's seed remains in him. Nor can he sin, because he is a child of God. This is what distinguishes the children of God from the children of the devil: whoever does not live uprightly and does not love his brother is not from God” New Jerusalem bible
(1 John 3:9-10) “No one who has been begotten by God sins; because God’s seed remains inside him, he cannot sin when he has been begotten by God. In this way we distinguish the children of God from the children of the devil: anybody not living a holy life and not loving his brother is no child of God’s.”
(1 John 3:5-6) “Now you know that he appeared in order to abolish sin, and that in him there is no sin; anyone who lives in God does not sin, and anyone who sins has never seen him or known him.”
You also never acknowledged how your rewritten bible explained away the following scripture.
(1 John 2:6) “But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did”
But then again you need to ignore what I say in my post the same way you ignore what scripture say in order to believe you are going to heaven even if you sin.

He who without sin let him cast the first stone. Go and sin no more. Does that mean we will never sin again after conversion? Hardly, sin is always crouching at our door. He who does not struggle well loosen up your halo cause it is choking you. Do you get angry with you brother, yes, you commit muder in your heart. What do we do with those who don't profess themselves at all?
That they must have sin?
That's what Job's "friends" were convinced of...which is why they changed their tactic from telling Job to "state his case before GOD"...to some sort of assumption that because Job would not open his mouth (lest his mouth cause him to sin) that Job must have sinned...
So what do we do with those, like Paul who say that their conscience is clear...they are not aware of any guilt, but this does not make them innocent?

Is the "issue" that those who hold to the GRACE of GOD won't profess themselves apart from THE GIFT OF GOD?
Is that the confusion and the assumption that those who do,must be sinners because they aren't professing anything but CHRIST?
Please read 1Corinthians 4 and explain why Paul no longer judged himself...understanding that this did not make him innocent...but, if our conscience does NOT betray us, we have peace before GOD.
Now, if you would like to destroy a brother's conscience, then go ahead...but based on what?
