Is the "issue" that those who hold to the GRACE of GOD won't profess themselves apart from THE GIFT OF GOD?
Is that the confusion and the assumption that those who do,must be sinners because they aren't professing anything but CHRIST?

Please read 1Corinthians 4 and explain why Paul no longer judged himself...understanding that this did not make him innocent...but, if our conscience does NOT betray us, we have peace before GOD.

Now, if you would like to destroy a brother's conscience, then go ahead...but based on what?
that they will NOT profess themselves?

Here's the thing, we are supposed to "correct" our brother and "restore" our brother...WHEN WE SEE HIM/HER SIN...

What is the sin?
That one won't boast in themselves but only GOD?

That's not a sin...
Jesus made it possible for those who he called, to become the Children of God. Jesus did this by giving those he called his Holy Spirit.

Those whom Jesus called, after receiving the Holy Spirit, give his or her life to God, and promise to always obey God, will be chosen if they through the grace given to them by God keep their promise.

The Holy Spirit give those chosen direction, and the grace/power to always do God’s Will.

(Romans 8:1-4) “The reason, therefore, why those who are in Christ Jesus are not condemned, is that the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. God has done what the Law, because of our unspiritual nature, was unable to do. God dealt with sin by sending his own Son in a body as physical as any sinful body, and in that body God condemned sin he did this in order the Law’s just demands might be satisfied in us, who behave not as our unspiritual nature but as the spirit dictates.”

Despite years of Bible study and talking to many people, I have not yet had anyone show me a verse that clearly says "once saved, always saved?"
hmm.. I have not yet had anyone show me a verse that clearly says a really "saved" person really "lost their salvation."

Being a truly saved person does not mean he or she is a Child of God, and will go to heaven with Jesus. You have no scripture that tells me that is wrong. Being saved does not mean one is going to heaven.

A Child of God is one who keeps God’s Word. Jesus told us that is who will go to heaven with him.

(1 John 3:9-10) “No one who has been begotten by God sins; because God’s seed remains inside him, he cannot sin when he has been begotten by God. In this way we distinguish the children of God from the children of the devil: anybody not living a holy life and not loving his brother is no child of God’s.”

(John 12:47-48) “If anyone hears my words and does not keep them faithfully, it is not I who shall condemn him, since I have come not to condemn the world, but to save the world: he who rejects me and refuses my words has his judge already: the word itself that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day.”

(Matthew 7:21) “It is not those who say to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, who will enter the kingdom of Heaven but the person who does the will of My Father in Heaven. When the day comes many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, work many miracles in your name?’ Then I shall tell them to their faces: I have never known you; away from me, you evil men!”

You and I have already discussed these verses that you continue to misinterpret and spin to teach "sinless perfection." No offense, but I'm done listening to your mixed up theology.

Do you still sin, Johnny?

If so, according to what you keep posting, you are a hypocrite.

If my theology is so mixed up as you say, then you would have scripture to rebuke me. All you have is your opinion. Also you did not answer my question. Can you show me what scripture says about being saved? Saved does not say one is going to heaven.

If your not going to heaven, your not saved, but still lost, period.

Sometimes just a little common sense needs to be used. And you will see your mistakes.

One who proclaims Jesus’ name will be saved from going to Hell, but that does not mean he or she will go to Heaven. Scripture does not say what one will be save from, but it does say what one needs to do to go to heaven.
Did you ever think that maybe there is a place that is not heaven or hell, that one will be punished in forever? Not being in Heaven with God is punishment enough, but Jesus described the place vary harshly.

Your view of salvation is odd.

I will Go with Gods.

To be saved, means to be saved from Gods wrath.

end of story.

A little RCC twist for us. Can you provide Scripture specifically pointing to this so called place that's not hell that one could spend eternity?

That is only your assumption, and you have no scripture to confirm that your assumption is from God.

Like someone said earlier, we are done.

You think you know it all. You have been shown scripture. just because yuo can't see it is not on us,

we do not need your approval. We need Gods, But thanks

Ok.... color me confused.

Just what does "saved" mean, if not that we are going to be in heaven after judgment?

No, I did not think that, because I have never seen any scriptural indication that there is such a place.

If we're simply making up places that suit us, I want there to be an optional cigar-bar for those that were "pretty good", but not quite good enough for a mansion...

More proof than one’s assumption that saved means one will go to Heaven.

(Matthew 22:13-14) “Bind him hand and foot and throw him out into the dark, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth”. -For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Jesus did not say throw him to hell.

(Hebrews 10:26-31) “If, after we have been given knowledge of the truth, we should deliberately commit any sins, then there is no longer any sacrifice for them. There is left only the dreadful prospect of judgment and of the fiery wrath that is to devour your enemies--------“:

Again Jesus did not say they would be punished in hell.

Does that not sound like a lake of fire to you?

Are you being deliberately obtuse?

Purgatory or heaven's suburb. I don't see why we would not identify "outer darkness" as a description of hell. The Greek phrase employed here is used three times in Matthew 8:12; 22:13; 25:30. The question is how does Matthew use the phrase "outer darkness" in these three passages?

In these three passages the phrase "gnashing of teeth" is linked to the "outer darkness" in all three passages. We should consider Matthew’s usage and meaning of the phrase "gnashing of teeth" which is also used in Matthew 13:42 and 50, where it is linked to being "cast into the furnace of fire" and in Matthew 24:51, where the individual is "cut up and assigned a place with the hypocrites." This clearly sounds like hell to me and not purgatory or heaven's suburb.

Kingdom of Heaven doctrine...Matthew is a Jewish book written concerning a Jewish King reigning on the Jewish throne of David. It is a literal, physical kingdom to come on this earth. The passage actually teaches that they will be excluded from this kingdom entirely. The Lord Jesus marveled at the faith of a Gentile centurion. His point was simply that there will be Gentile participation in the future kingdom and there will be Jewish exclusion in the future kingdom. Many Jews who should be there won't be and many Gentiles who might not be expected to be there will participate fully. The "children of the kingdom" are Jews, those who by every right privilege should be the participants of the kingdom. It was promised to them. But being a Jew, by itself, does not qualify a person for the kingdom. There must be personal faith. And being a Gentile does not disqualify a person. If the Gentile has faith he too may enter the kingdom.

Their judgment will come at the end of the Millennium at the Great White Throne Judgment where they will be cast into the lake of fire which is eternal.
