The specific question was "where did the Jews come from?" This depends on which Jews you refer to.

The aforementioned Twelve Tribes contained the Tribe of Judah...the Jews, however taking the meaning of Judah we discover all who praise God in spirit and truth may be refereed to as Jews, that is Raisers of Yah (God):

2. Of the nation of Judah, the southern part of Israel. consists of people from all 12 tribes.
