PLEASE - just tell me about the Millennium passages, not before....will WE sacrifice animals?

............................

Animal Sacrifices in the Millennium?

One of the most embarrassing aspects of Dispensationalism is their insistence that there will be a return to animal sacrifices during the Millennium.

Why I Am Not A Dispensationalist: Animal Sacrifices in the Millennium?

if you can not address this, you have no case.
You don't read too well, do you?

"He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.

"So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

In Dan.9:27, the verse states that, in the middle of the seven years, that ruler, the antichrist, will put and end to sacrifices and offerings. By putting an end to them in the middle of the seven years, it would infer that Israel will have been presenting offerings and sacrifices during the first 3 1/2 years. It's not that difficult to figure out.

you don't read the bible. you read dispie junk literature.

Daniel 9 is about Christ, and Titus only.

Dan 9
24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

DONE:

Romans 3:21
But now, apart from the Law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets.

Romans 3:22
And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction,

Romans 5:10
For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!

Hebrews 2:17
So He had to be made like His brothers in every way, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, in order to make atonement for the sins of the people.

.........................

25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

DONE:

Ezra 4:24
Then work on the house of God in Jerusalem ceased, and it was stopped until the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia.

Ezra 6:1
Then King Darius issued a decree, and search was made in the archives, where the treasures were stored in Babylon.

Nehemiah 2:1
And it came about in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, that wine was before him, and I took up the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had not been sad in his presence.

Nehemiah 3:1
Then Eliashib the high priest arose with his brothers the priests and built the Sheep Gate; they consecrated it and hung its doors. They consecrated the wall to the Tower of the Hundred and the Tower of Hananel.

...........................

26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

DONE:

Matthew 24:2
"Do you see all these things?" He replied. "Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be toppled."

Mark 9:12
He replied, "Elijah does indeed come first, and he restores all things. Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected?

Mark 13:2
"Do you see all these great buildings?" Jesus replied. "Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be toppled."

Luke 19:43
For the days will come upon you when your enemies will barricade you and surround you and hem you in on every side.

Luke 19:44
They will level you to the ground--you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God."

Luke 24:26
Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and then to enter His glory?"

..................

27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:

DONE:

Matthew 20:28
just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many."

Matthew 26:27
Then He took the cup, gave thanks and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.

Matthew 26:29
I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until the day when I drink it anew with you in My Father's kingdom."

Luke 22:20
In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.

Hebrews 9:20
saying, "This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep."

Hebrews 10:29
How much more severely do you think one deserves to be punished who has trampled on the Son of God, profaned the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

..........................

27b and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

DONE (70AD)

Matthew 24:15
So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination of desolation,' described by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand),

Mark 13:14
So when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Luke 21:20
But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, you will know that her desolation is near.

It is the enemy of heresy and apostasy.

Ahwatukee :

which great city is this?

Rev 11:8
and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified.

.......

the same as this:

Jeremiah 23:14
"Also among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: The committing of adultery and walking in falsehood; And they strengthen the hands of evildoers, So that no one has turned back from his wickedness. All of them have become to Me like Sodom, And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.

Ezekiel 16:46
"Now your older sister is Samaria, who lives north of you with her daughters; and your younger sister, who lives south of you, is Sodom with her daughters.

Ezekiel 16:49
"Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had arrogance, abundant food and careless ease, but she did not help the poor and needy.

Ezekiel 23:3
and they played the harlot in Egypt. They played the harlot in their youth; there their breasts were pressed and there their virgin bosom was handled.

Ezekiel 23:8
"She did not forsake her harlotries from the time in Egypt; for in her youth men had lain with her, and they handled her virgin bosom and poured out their lust on her.

Jeremiah 22:8 “‘People from other nations will pass by this city. They will ask one another, “Why has the Lord done such a thing to this great city?”

Revelation 14:8
Then a second angel followed, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, who has made all the Gentiles to drink the wine of the passion of her immorality."

John is the first prophet to identify Jerusalem with Babylon (most prophets were already dead before actual Babylon fell).
Jerusalem as Sodom/Egypt/Babylon is very clear. dozens of scriptural references to the great city Jerusalem, including God saying ancient Jerusalem ruled over the kings of the earth. under david, she was the most powerful and civilized in the world

......

but look!

Ezra 4:20
Jerusalem has had powerful kings ruling over the whole of Trans-Euphrates, and taxes, tribute and duty were paid to them.

OH! Jerusalem once had kings ruling over the whole known civilization!

Lamentations : 1
How deserted lies the city, once so full of people! How like a widow is she, who once was great among the nations! She who was queen among the provinces has now become a slave.

I thought of that one..... but there's still no other place that talks about "thousand years".

BTW, it's unlike you to be grasping at straws, isn't it?

Now, if you found another place where "thousand years" or like it was found, I would concede.

So far, nada.:)
I doubt you'd ever concede. but here you go:

Psalm 90:4
For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night.

........................

Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,

Psalm 105:8
He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations..,.

what happens if he comes back before a thousand generations?
what happens in eternity after a thousand generations?

DOES HE STOP BEING KIND?

The seven heads are symbolic representing two different things, the seven hills upon which the woman sits. And they also represent those seven succession of kings.
wait....what?
who says the seven heads are symbolic?
picking and choosing again:)

The Woman = "This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits.

The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

The woman is a city that sits on seven hills.

JERUSALEM!
(if you must have literal mountains....your heads are symbolic, but your mountains are literal!!! haha argggg)

But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Why would that not be literal? You ought to understand that Israel looks for a literal kingdom of God on the earth. No reason to expect that God will not fulfill His promise to Israel to have a kingdom on earth with Messiah as King.

Don't over symbolize Revelation. That is the fruit of the unbelieving heart. God will perform all that He has promised.

Yep they did back in Jesus day as well....Jesus told them they were wrong back then too...He reigns in a heavenly Kingdom not earthly one but folks waiting for the rapture won't are blind to those scriptures too. Just like the Jews they look for an Earthly kingdom for Literal 1000 years so are lulled into a false sense of "the End Jugement day can't happen yet"

Hate to break it to you and others, but Judgment day can happen anytime, whether you understand the signs or not.

Currently being fulfilled....as seen in the Present tense usage of the verbs...may we all worship upon mount Zion and not stay enslaved upon Mount Sinai.

****

Hebrews 12For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. (For they could not endure what was commanded: “And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.” And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”)
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.

As long as your beliefs don't cause you to sin against God or lead you and others into further deceptions. such as the belief that Christians should waste time financing a Jewish temple to be built in Israel or some other idolatry....

and I will be too busy spending time with Jesus for "I told you so"

Hi Sis, long time no see. Haven't read through the whole thread. Just page 1, 2 and 8. Sorry if I repeat.
