Acts 13:14-16
14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch of Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down.
15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, You men and brethren, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and you who fear God, give audience.

first real organized Church Service on the SABBATH DAY!!
The book of Acts is a transitional book. Revelation was not complete. How to do many things was as yet unknown. For things to continue as they were previously instructed is logical. As new revelation is given, it would then be implemented.
Paul in Acts 20 was in a gathering of believers the first day of the week. He obviously didn't think this to be wrong.

yes, but i am a Follower of Christ, like the Disciples and Paul were.
and Paul, took advantage to TEACH on the Sabbath.
So, he began the Church Service on the Sabbath.
the Church later moved it to Sunday.
they didn't call that "sabbath keeping" tho.
calling sunday the "Christian sabbath" is a relatively recent and quite erroneous convention.

Christ is our rest.

Luke 21:37
Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple
Acts 5:42
Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.

if ya wanna find a group of Jews to talk to, optimal strategy is go to a synagogue on a sabbath day.

that's all there is to it.

this isn't Paul teaching Christians that they must keep sabbath. this is simply efficient use of evangelistic resources.

and i agree completely.
but, Paul, chose the Sabbath in many examples we read him on the SABBATH holding the Gospel Doctrine Church Service.

he does say to the: Men of Israel, and you who fear God [so Gentiles are there] since we know many Gentiles were following the God of Abraham.

Not "to the 10 commandments"

obedient unto death: to offering His life as atonement for us.

which one of the decalogue says lay down your life as a blood offering for the sins of the world?
What would you like people to believe He was being obedient to?

The 10 Commandments were given to all mankind, as I've already made clear.

Therefore, the assumption, and ridiculous teaching, that the Sabbath is only for the Jews is just that.

False and ridiculous.

Deut. 29:11, 14-15 prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that the 10 Commandments were given to all mankind and absolutely NOT only to the Jews.

Jesus observed the 10 Commandments Law of His Father which is why He observed the Sabbath.

The Jews are not God's Children as they do not accept or embrace Christ whatsoever and the Bible declares unequivocally that it is required for God's Children.
Gal. 3:16, 26, 29

And Jesus made very plain all throughout the Gospels what He thought of the Jews and it was NOT good at all.

The Sabbath, like all 10 Commandments, are for all mankind.

Jesus taught them.

Jesus obeyed them.

Jesus' followers obeyed them after His death.

Case closed ... once again.

What would you like people to believe He was being obedient to?
Himself, because He is God.

as the Son, He did all the Father sent Him to do.

He was sent to seek and to save the lost,
not "to keep the 10 commandments"

because in Him is no sin, that He never violated any part of the law is purely ancillary to His purpose.

the law was made for the unrighteous - not for Him.

I'm not referring to obedience. I'm referring to what the Bible teaches. The cross brought with it the end of one covenant and the introduction of another. The difference in covenants necessitated changes. The nature of the covenants necessitated changes. And Jesus Himself made changes. I'm merely pointing out that because a thing has been done in a particular way previously doesn't mean under different conditions, it must remain the same.
Farmers once used animals to plow fields. Now they use machines. Why? Revelation produced understanding that produced technology that resulted in changes. In like manner, revelation concerning God wrought understanding of Christ that wrought changes in the responses of men towards God.

God gave the Sabbath, along with all the 10 Commandments, to all mankind.

Proven quite definitively in Deut. 29:11, 14-15.
Deuteronomy 29:11-18 is speaking about only the Israelites and their foreign slaves who camp with them, and it's referring to the whole law of the covenant, not just the ten commandments.

if it's to all mankind then all mankind is obligated to keep every jot and Tuttle in all of Deuteronomy and Leviticus.

however Naaman the totally-not-a-Jew-in-fact-a-Syrian did not observe Leviticus 14, so your position on that is out the window.

Actually, His keeping the law was crucial to this end to qualify as Messiah. The covenant between Father and Son required perfect obedience, did it not?

canst thou discover one verse anywhere where God complains about gentiles polluting the sabbaths?

Wrong.

Deut. 29:11 reveals there were strangers among the Israelites who were not Israelites at all.

Deut. 29:14-15 reveals very specifically that all the 10 Commandments were not only given to these strangers as well, but that they were given to all that were not present at Mt. Sinai at that time as well.

The Sabbath was given to all Christians along with the rest of the 10 Commandments.

The surrounding nations?

You'll have to be more specific.

Chapter and verse?
