"No, all knowledge of God is not in the bible. And all of His words are not contained therein. For God has not lost His mouth, and He has not stopped talking. We have stopped listening. And just as God judged those who hardened their hearts towards His voice, so He will judge us for the same thing, because He does not change, ever; else He is not God. "
Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

The Gospel of Christ has been delivered. There is nothing to be added to it.It is complete in scripture.
Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was (once)* delivered unto the saints.
the good news is in these books so i just dont understand how a believer could say that it is lacking or imcomplete as to require further revelation to be heard and believed unto salvation..just amazing argument to make.It doesnt hold water. The Bible is the most amazing unique,a miracle its survived, and totally unmatched by anything we have written down. The good news in contained within it and before folks had bibles they were preached too by folks who had read it. Too somehow say that folks became believers without the use of the bible because not many folks had a bible is a weak argument..They heard the good news of the bible by folks who had read it..who rightly divided the word who preached the gospel once delievered to the saints..
even Jesus prays for those folks who will believe by reading the testimony of the apostles..
John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word
So i dont think the argument is valid. Jesus told me to read and study the scriptures for a whole host a great reasons.
