I would love to mine for Gold and I would do it for free in this life if I could. Someone has to mine the Gold for the new streets! I think it will be an active place and we will worship the Lord in everything we do and have perfect fun doing it.

That´s why I also permitted my children to be the ones they wanted to be.

I think we all will get our own personal heaven to fit our unique likes, I also can imagine we can do anything there like say I was walking in a giant field of grass flowers and beautiful plants in heaven maybe I could turn the grass pink simply by wanting it that way or I can make an apple out of nowhere or maybe I can even fly. I can't imagine there would be many limitations there

Light still propagates at speed of light in front of you (Physics/Einstein 101).

However, you won't be able to drive at the speed of light (Einstein/Physics 101).

I've been taking a keen interested in heaven after reading the Gospels and Romans.

I apppreciate I have not yet read all of the NT yet but I've got a grasp on how to get there as covered in John.

I do have some worries though. Its very likely that according to scripture that alot of my family will be going to hell. I might struggle to enjoy myself in heaven knowing that every day for eternity my loved ones are suffering in hell. That could even be my own futue children in agony. I don't see how I would find bliss in heaven knowing that.

Is there anything in an upcoming book of the NT that addresses this?

I think revelation tells us about Heaven read revelation it should help you gain insight on what heaven is like.

When I was a young man, I loved to swim. Back then, I would swim all day long if I could.

Having many health issues now, I can no longer swim.

I would love heaven to have many rivers and lakes, so I could once again swim.

Well, the most breathtaking and most joyful situation I can imagine is being with all of those whom you love... family and friends... and enjoying a fantastic celebration... awe-inspiring and festive and colorful lights and awesome music playing... a huge buffet spread with the most delicious foods... nobody sick, nobody sad, nothing to complain about... just uninhibited, rapturous joy that's overflowing... like a fantastic free-fall into the brightest light and eternal exhilaration... and Christ Jesus would be the eternal Source of that light and love and joy and peace.........

I can hardly comprehend that in my restless mind... but I glimpse that sometimes in my spirit... and feel that in my heart.

im ready for that class with Jesus himself teaching. all those things that we disagree on or cant make sense of, Jesus will explain it. pretty awesome!

Wow, that's so funny you posted that just now, PennEd! I was honestly thinking only about 10 minutes ago, "Lord, would You get tired of me hanging on You like Your disciple John did?"

Hmmmm.... I'm sure a whole LOTTA people will wanna hug & hang onto Jesus. We're gonna have to take turns for eternity, I guess. LOL

Agreed!

I think the exploration of God's creation will bring Him great joy and WILL be an act of worship of Him \o/. I look forward to spending Eternity exploring all of the wonderful places in His Creation as well as being with Him/Christ/Holy Spirit and all of His sweet Saints!

Also, if dragons are real, I want to ride a dragon ;) - one like Toothless in 'How to Train Your Dragon'.

I love fighter jets. I would not only like to be able to fly mega warp speed in heaven, but I hope the wind roars past me so loudly that it sounds like a Stealth Bomber. :D
